Avatar f tn I get high blood pressure on pills with estrogen so I started the mini pill. It has no estrogen and I didn't have any side effects. I was off it for about a month when we got pregnant.
Avatar f tn A month ago, I went to the doctor up at school (I am 20 and attend a university) and the doctor felt my ovaries and said they felt fine; she said the pain was probably still from the ruptures and to just take ibuprofen (it doesn't help). Could the pain still be from the ruptures or is something else going on? Sometime the pain is severe enough to make me just sit still for a couple minutes until it goes away... the pain also seems to wrap around to my lower back at times.
Avatar f tn t work well if you want to skip your period by taking the packs back to back because the pills go from low dose to high dose of hormones instead of the same level for all 3 weeks. For me, I wanted to stay protected and continued to finish out the pack and went back to respecting the placebo week. My period normalized after a while.
Avatar n tn My first period after starting Trinessa was late. In fact, I wondered if I was pg again and my son was just a few months old! I want to say it started on the last pill that it started. Since then, it seems to start around day 4 or 5 or the last week of pills, but that first month was weird.
Avatar f tn My new doctor upped my dose and put me on higher hormones, taking Trinessa. The bleeding is regulated to 10 days. Cramping is still pretty debilitating, but only for about 5-6 of those days. However, my migraines are becoming more and more frequent over the last 3 years that I've been on this birth control. They hit me hard and interfere with work. Would voluntary sterilization or endometrial ablation be a better option for my situation?

Avatar m tn Hello, It is true that accutane has plenty of side effects. It may cause cheilitis and dry lips but thinning of skin and hair loss are less frequent side effects. From your symptoms first of all hypothyroidism should be ruled out. The second possibility to be ruled out is of vitamin D deficiency.
Avatar m tn My question is that should I continue day 4 with the same dose or try 200mg 3 times or stop as probably the medicine worked on me already. Please help on this as I am super sleepy and paranoiac and this effects my job. I read horrible brain issues and probably i should reach out to ask other doctors for different method. It is very hard in Hong Kong. Thank you very much for your help.
Avatar f tn Zoloft is a great drug, I have had panic attacks and anxiety for years and they went away after being on Zoloft and xanex as needed. It does take some time to find the right dose and the side effects to go away but stay with it!! Before I started the Zoloft I was taking 2-4 mg of xanex a day, after some time I was not taking any, and my life was normal again. Unfortunately after 12 plus years on Zoloft it pooped out on me a year ago...

Avatar f tn Hi there, I looked on the side effects of Depakote and I didn't find anything to do with this. I've never been an angry person, nor have I really ever have I ever blasted people or my dogs. I yell at my dogs, have no patience, basically more irritability that I'm not able to control .I'm Bipolar, with mixed states, rapid cycling and have been in the last couple of months, hypomanic.
Avatar m tn I think you need to have a serious discussion with your doctor, considering long term potential benefits and the seriousness of the side effects. Many people have trouble tolerating the treatment and if you feel it's too much to take, then by all means stop it. I'm not an advocate of ECT, but my point is simply that in the bigger picture you can't simply write it off as "bad.
1360592 tn?1281755526 I suffer from permanent AFib and take Metoprolol SR for lower my (ventricle) heart rate. I took as much as 100 mg twice a day to get the HR down, and found the side-effects troubling but not debilitating. I tended to adapt to the medication, but was concerned it was causing me sleep (dreaming) problems.
Avatar n tn Getting ready to start Lexapro and I want to know the side effects you have experienced? I have been on Wellbutrion and Cymbalta and both were not for me. Made my anxiety worse. I lost weight on both but wanted to know the weight issue with Lexapro since there seems to be one. Thanks for the help.
1546331 tn?1293737217 I quit two years ago and took Champix and did not have any side effects like he has and my doctor followed my closely and I was also in a local support group to help get me started to quit. But my Mr does not want to do any of those things nor admit that the withdrawl is making him nuts, no just blame it on me..lol.. I never thought I had or possessed such power over his mind. I try to stay away from him in the house since if I say the wrong thing its a blow out...
