My 4 year old has developed a pretty nasty cough for the past 3 days, and everything I have in my house doesn't seem to be helping him. I have tried Triaminic Cold and Cough, which didnt work, and then Robitussin DM for cough and chest congestion, which isn't working either. He can't take childrens mucinex because it makes him vomit. Do any of you mommies know what I can possibly try that can help his cough? He isn't running a fever, or have any other symptoms.

im almost 22 weeks pregnant an i have this bad cough to were it hurts my stomach an chest ... is there anythinh i can take besides cough drops? an by me coughing is it harming my baby?

Is there any danger in taking over the counter cough and cold products for a recently recovering opiate addict? What can they take for a cold, particularly a severe cough?

You can take the tylenol cold medicines and disagree.

My approved medicine list includes Benadryl, Chloraseptic spray and lozenges, Contac, robitussin pe or cf, sudafed, triaminic dm, tylenol cold and sinus, Vicks formula 44d, and claritin :)

Last day we consult the doctor again and he advised to take chest xray..After verifying xray he said there is small patches of Pneumonia and he advice us to continue the same antibiotic for some more day.But now she is having no fever but have cough.Is it enough for giving antibiotics (AMOXYLIN 125 mg) for pneumonia.

My Dr. is starting me on the patch for chest pains. How long after wearing it will it take for me to know if it is working and what side effects can I expect. I am on isosorbide dinitrate until I recieve the patches in the mail, and the pill gives me a horrible headache.

For the cough (dry) antitussives like Dextromethorphan based syrups like Triaminic may help. If you develop a fever, or cough with expectoration or if there is enlargement of the tonsils with pain or if there is white coating on the tonsils, you will need to consult your primary care physician for a strep test, which if positive you will be given antibiotics. Chest pain should never be ignored, and should definitely be looked at by a physician in order to rule out any thing serious. t get into doctor before January but he has put me on a nitro patch. The patch makes me feel horrendous and I am thinking of stopping. I feel better off it than on it. So long as I have my nitro spray at all times am I safe to stop taking it.

I am currently in bed, body feeling weak, head very dizzy, and im feeling a tad nauseous. I used a 21mg patch this morning for the first time and the side effects have been nothing but bad news to my body. I took about 3 naps already today and it's only 3:32 in the afternoon! Wild. I've heard people talk about it, and I've had the cold and wet sensation intermittently, but this has been going on for two days. I've got a cold and wet patch (that's perfectly dry) on the outside of my right thigh, another on my left knee, and one on the back of my left calf. It's a little disconcerting. Since yesterday my deltoids and half of my chest is red, it looks like a sunburn but I havn't been exposed to sun. Yesterday I used a corticoids ointment and it went away but came again, today after a cold shower it went away again but its slowly coming back. It doesn't itch at all but it has a small burning sensation (just like when you get sun burned) I havn't used any new shampoo or ate anything different from usual. I'm totally lost, what do you think this might be?
