Avatar m tn A year ago I noticed a strange rash on my penis while urinating. Of course I freaked out and self diagnosed myself with everything under the sun. I went and got checked for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis and all came back negative. Went to dr and was prescribed triamcinolone cream it didn't seem to help but rash was still present but not as predominant. Year later I have unprotected sex and the rash came back and has been with me for the last 3wks.

Avatar f tn I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
Avatar f tn Don't use Triamcinolone anymore if you can help it as overuse can cause real problems. We read about it here all the time because it can thin the skin. I would try Psoriaflora cream or clear 100% aloe vera.

Avatar m tn Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.

Avatar f tn Just looking for anymore information or advise about withdraws from Fioricet / I have been taking this medication from years from Migrain headaches, it's seemed the longer I was on it the less it helped so I would increase my doses because I could not get rid of my headaches the other day I just stopped using it because it was like just this non stop headache.
Avatar m tn As I had previously experience of psoriasis, I thought I may help it with triamcinolone cream. After using triamcinolone, I didn't have the itch but once I stopped using it, the itch would come back. I injected triamcinolone (1/2 ml in two points) under skin (1-2 mm depth). The itch went but the area remained little red for about 2 weeks. Then the area turned into whiter or brighter (which was visible only in sunlight).
Avatar m tn ) But how serious is an allergic reaction to triamcinolone? Or is it the combination of lidocaine and triamcinolone that caused the mess?
177275 tn?1511755244 The agency said it received an adverse event report on August 14 from a physician whose patient was diagnosed postoperatively with bilateral HORV after being administered injections of a compounded triamcinolone, moxifloxacin, and vancomycin (TMV) formulation in each eye after cataract procedures that were done 2 weeks apart. Imprimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc, of Ledgewood, New Jersey, had compounded the TMV.
Avatar m tn Decadron® (dexamethasone) 4 mg is not the therapeutic equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg. Using the Lexi-Calc corticosteroid conversion formula, the ratio of the 2 would be close to 5:1. So it would take Decadron® (dexamethasone) 16 mg to be approximately the equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg.
Avatar f tn cuts on some stretch marks that I have, is this normal? I got a shot of kenalog 40 and have been using triamcinolone acetone .5 for a different problem. Is this a side effect or something else?
Avatar m tn It is small and on the left side. He prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone. I also have inflammed prostate treated with Cipro 500mg. I had unprotected oral sex one month ago. I took 4 pills and a shot on two different occassions. All the std exams, all negative. The urologist says what I have is not sex related. So where would I get a fungus? I can think of no other explanation then the sex.

Avatar f tn The information you all have provided here is greatly appreciated and not to mention very informative. I'm working on learning everything I can to help two people actually. They're a couple so it's very hard. But I know there are problems with addiction for both of them. I figure the more knowledge I have the more prepared I will be. I have one of them willing to talk to me tonight. He knows what I'm going to be talking about and I'm so surprised he said ok...
Avatar n tn I think both of you guys could get a prescription for a steroid skin cream such as Triamcinolone .1%. It's really good for rashes. But in Shearn184's case, It really sounds like your problem could be solved by just switching to another benzodiazepine. I wouldn't pacifically ask for Xanax. Doctors hate it when we do their jobs for them. I would just ask for an alternative to Ativan. He may know of something that would work better for you.
Avatar n tn i have been to dermotolgist and he said it was sensitive skin or allergic to uv rays. i have tried triamcinolone acetonide cream that the doctor prescribed and only helps alittle on itching. this has been going on for a year now. any suggestions?

408795 tn?1324935675 Although not as specific, it contain much of the same information and is readily available to the patient and the doctor. This information label was given to me by my GI to read and discuss regarding issues related to anger and depression and the potential for needing an AD sometime during trt. I would hope all doctors discuss this prior to trt, but this may not be the case. I'm also curious what "psychological evaluations" are being done.
