Common Questions and Answers about Triamcinolone for ringworm

I didn't get diagnosed but by using the medication and seeing which ones helped to clear the rash, i decided it is ringworm. I used Triamcinolone acetonide on it for the first day. After I stopped, it grew twice as big. So you were right to say that the steroids would make ringworm worse. So after the first day I used lotrimin and it still grew. It's been four days of me putting it on the whole day and it's drying up.
I went to a Docter and he said it was a fungus known as ringworm. He prescribed me DOXYCYCLINE for the burning feeling and NYSTATIN/TRIAMCINOLONE CREAM to apply to the head of the penis. After about 5-6 weeks the redness went away and the burning seemed to be non existent.
Tell me about this "ringworm" spot. How long have you had it and what does it look like?
He has to stay on the antibiotic just incase they start to see something grow but so far it's not ringworm. That's good cause ringworm is gross but now he has to see a dermatologist. Aaaaauuuugggghhhh! He has so much stuff going on. He has really bad allergies, they've gotten so bad this year that I have to keep him inside for a week for his rash and red eyes to go away. He has problems with his teeth and is getting his second surgery on the second, he has respiratory problems.
He has been treated for everything from ringworm to scabies. Many trips to doctors and have tried every cream, ointment and everything from oatmeal to clear finger nail polish. We are at our wits end. Please advise me on what to do. Thanks. So, she gave me a cream to use for two weeks which didn't change anything (Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1%). Then, i went again to the same clinic for another physician which thought that it was a ringworm so she gave me a cream to use everyday 2 times for two weeks which called (30.
I have took her to the doctor four times and each time they tell me something different, like a allergic raction, ringworm, yeast infection, and that her skin held to much bacteria. I have been using the medicine clotrimazole cream 1% and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream that was prescribed to her, but nothing is working. Please help me in any way you can.

for about 4 months now, ive had this rash on and between my knuckles, which first started off as red and later weeks deepened to purple, kind of ashy, i went to doctor 3 times and was told it was only ringworm, i was prescribed nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide, which is supposed to cure it. but it only helps for the pain, 4 months now and i use the cream prescribed everyday because it helps with the itchiness and pain, it has not gotten any better. anyone know what else this might be?
I went to my doctor and I was told that it was a fungus. I was given a cream called Nystatin and Triamcinolone. I have used it for almost three weeks now and the spots are still there and new ones keep appearing in the same areas. They itch here and there and they get red after I get out of the shower. The spots are circular and oblong and as said slightly raised. How long does it take for this cream to work? Additionally, does this cream have any affect on a womans menstral cycle?
hi for about a month now ive had this circle patch about an inch wide and it only itches if i touch it and if i do i cant stop itching it...its on my biscep and its dry but doesnt peal or anything, its just there...its dark brown but i dont know if thats just because im just showed up out of nowhere...and today i found a dry patch on my left breast is about 1/4 now im worried what this could be...i also got a new puppy, i was wondering if he had anything to do with that...
prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP. I have been using it twice a day for 2 weeks. I wash the area with a chlorahexadine scrub that I let sit for 10 min. and then rinse before applying the cream. It started to seem better after a few days but then started spreading around my thumb and below the bottom joint. The blisters are getting bigger and are almost yellow colored. They hurt and itch so bad. The best thing I've found is cold packs to relieve the irritation.
my husband has a rash that started with little red bumps, and are very ichy it started under his arm below his arm pit it but it is not under his arm pit. It traveled to his waist to groin to upper back now on butt and going down to his khalves. First Dr. gave prednisone tablets and cream Mystatin &Triamcinolone Acetonide .It keeps traveling. went to Dermatologist she said she don't know what it is but she doesnt think it is internal. She gave him clobetasol Propionate cream usp, 5%.
I saw an internal medicine doctor who sent me for every test under the sun. Gastric emptying study, a test for cortisone somethingerother, a zillion vials of blood taken (which is how I was diagnosed with HCV), a few CT scans, MRI (one of the CT scans and the MRI while I was hospitalized briefly comtemplating whether or not they would just insert a feeding tube), upper endoscopy, Honestly, I can't even remember all the tests I had.
The rash spread to the back of my legs, underneath my arms/ armpits, pretty much everywhere! I went to see a nurse practitioner at CVS and she told me it was ringworm and prescribed some cream that was over $100 so I used over the counter products. After 2 weeks of minimal results I went to see another doctor and he thought it was a fungus as well and said it was severe and referred me to a dermatologist and come to find out it was hives!
I am also been on triamcinolone 1% ointment on my hand since I was 12 years old that I use for eczema on fingers. Symptoms improve slightly and do not go away fully but it gets embarrasing to go to doctor again. 1 year after encounter I have nonstop bleeding, turns out to be ectopic pregnancy with iud perfectly in place still. I have the iud removed but ectopic was not detected until after it burst the fallopian tube, fallopian tube removed. Still keep having mild symptoms 2 years later.
I put this cream on called nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. It is for fungus related things (I know.. Eww!) I did NOT have a fungus but it was the only thing that worked for me! I posted earlier and had this for years! I recomend giving it a try. It can't hurt any worse than the itching and burning! But you have to put liberal amounts on constantly. Let me know if this has helped. It took a few weeks to subside so give it time..
cream for face. The cream for face seems to be working especially for the red patches that had started cracking and flaking. They are almost gone. Body is a different story I am STILL itching so bad. I noticed a couple of places on my arm that have a pronounced ring and depressed white area in the center--so now I'm thinking ringworm. (TOO)I have some econizole and am dotting it on just those areas that look like rings forming.
Hello, I've been having problems with VS bras for years. I stopped using their products for a year and a half and felt better. I recently gave in and purchased a Bio-fit bra and I'm having symptoms with it too. I also have a Body Full coverage bra that is very unsafe. The underwire is sticking out and poking my breasts! It's very sharp. I'm interested in pursuing this Class Action Suit as well. My e-mail address is ***@****.
Shamefully, for almost 8 years I have been getting very small itchy blisters on various spots on my arms and legs. The small blisters develop and immediately itch intensely, which is how I know they're there. They have a clear fluid inside, with no puss. When I scratch them in my sleep or when they break, they often weep a little amber colored liquid. Also, when I scratch them, more tiny blisters will develop around the original blister, signifying an infection.
I have been diagnosed with Confluent and Reticulated Papillomatosis by a dermatologist. I received antibiotics to cure the spots. The spots disappeared for roughly 3 months and are returning. The papules are located throughout my body, primarily near the belly button. The pattern extends up my torso on the sides, leading to the arms. The upper arms also have papules. I have noticed that when I lay on concrete without a shirt, the papules become more evident and obvious.
Ask your doctor to give you scritp. for KETOCONAZOLE 2% I got it for ringworm dried up in 2 days I to got a rash on my tattoo red itchy little pimples.
All tests came back just fine. She told me that I have atopic dermatitis and gave me Triamcinolone cream to try for three weeks to try to stop the itch/scratch cycle. The cream does not work and as I tried to explain to her, it is not skin related, it is internal. I do beleive that it has something to do with histamines and blood flow, but I think there must be a cure.
It might be bad for a week and go away for a month, or vice versa. It seems to be worse when the weather is hot or dry, but sometimes that makes no difference. And sometimes it cracks so badly it bleeds, like chapped lips. I went to my doctor and he said that I had a "skin condition." I'd never wanted to beat someone so badly. That's like diagnosing somebody in the ER as "sick" or having some sort of "wound." He gave me fluorometholone ophthalmic ointment.
I had put up with the problem for 11 months, gradually becoming worse. And now after 2 months of it having gone away, it has returned again. This time it happened much quicker, starting on the right lower eye, then moved to the left. The right under eye is very red, sore and dry. It feels so rough to touch. I have not worn make up today and have only applied vaseline and aqeous cream. I haven't changed any toileteries or make up in the last 2 months. I am not sure what it could be?
I have been using it for about 3-4 weeks now and the little bumps on my penis head have gone away but now i have noticed an itchy bump on the side of my penis which is a bit bigger.. also there is a bump on the edge of my penis head that had peeled and gone away for a few days and re-appeared in the exact same spot which seems to have formed as a bump/scar(not as itchy)... ...i have very itchy bumps on my inner thighs and butt cheeks that seem to be getting worse.
After reading all these posts, i came to a conclusion that it is NOT a cold sore thank god, but its because i had taken this pill Diflucan (for yeast infections, but also helps with ringworm) and i took this Wednesday morning. Come to wake up Thursday and BAM my lip is like this. I just counter acted it by taking whats called Acidophilus- also knowen as what i call the "yogurt pill" .. Its a probiotic pill. So i am hoping this will help with the rednes and the reaction.
My husband has been having skin rashes around his eyes, raised small red bumps, for several months and just won
hey man. no i dont have a name for it, but all you really need to know is that it is a bacterial infection. therefore, try to create inhospitable conditions for the bacteria. keep it dry (within comfort level). maybe dab it with a little alcohol. surely there must be a name, but i'd just chalk it up to a bacterial rash... all i know is it didnt last very long...
Its been like this for a little more than a month. A few years back, it was like this for nearly 2 years but went away for about 5 months the later part of 2007. Both reactions were right after I had sexual relations with a partner. The coincidence led me to believe std related but negative tests say otherwise. I myself feel lost and not sure what to do because from what ive been reading, it seems like the creams/moisturizers and medications do not really help so much.
