I have Triamcinolone Eucerin Cream. I need to be able to wash it off my hands. Does anyone know what makes it salulable? What kind of soap?

He also used Eucerin body wash in the shower, used cool water and patted his skin dry, and used Eucerin moisturizer after the shower. He used Triamcinolone ointment (prescription) on the rash as well. For nausea, he used Zofran (prescription) and drank ginger tea or ate raw ginger.

Of course it's probably best to ask your doctor, but my husband's prescription for Hydroxyzine is 2 tablets, so he takes it "as needed" and when he is having an especially tough time with itching interfering with sleeping, he takes it before he goes to sleep. I have heard some people on this forum say that ice packs, standing in front of the open freezer door, standing outside for a minute or two, keeping your skin lotioned up, and drinking lots of water helps.

My mom refuses to let me use them and I apply aloe gel and eucerin instead. at this rate, its still spreading, just slowly. every website i go to says it is chronic or reoccurring, does that mean it will never go away?

I decided to take her to a different allgerist for a second opinion. At this point she was placed on Zyrtec 5mg BID, Orapred 15 mg q daily x 5 days and Triamcinolone cream BID. I have been using eucerin on a salylic acid burn on my penis shaft. It has made the skin have a flaky melanin less scab over the wound since I started applying eucerin 2 weeks ago. What we found was that the rash started on one part of his body, got bad there, and then moved to another part of his body, got bad there, and then moved again.

You might try the Biotene products (mouthwash, spray, toothpaste, etc.) to see if they will help. Tx contributes to changes in the salivary glands which create "dry mouth". Lots of people develop a bad taste in their mouth, distaste for foods and flavors and textures, and oral hygiene problems as a result of dry mouth. This may exacerbate your thrush condition. We have several forum members who struggled with thrush throughout tx.

Are there ANY kind of recommended lotions I could use that might lessen or eliminate this problem? My doctor told me of a few (Eucerin, Corel, Aveeno) and I have tried them and they've only made it worse or done nothing at all. Any key ingredients I should look out for?

It was considered to be a moderate rash, but it was definitely very, very itchy and kept him from being able to sleep. She told him to use Eucerin cream, then apply Triamcinolone ointment (prescription), and take Hydroxizine (prescription) as needed 1-2 every six hours. We also put tea tree oil on the blisters and it seemed to soothe them. They did not break open. The rash has settled down, and he is in Week 6 now. I agree with hrsepwerguy.

Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.

Thanks for your response. As to your questions: still no itching, no burning, no "hot to the touch". Live alone; only people I've been in close contact with in past 7 days (daughter-in-law, young granddaughters, & sister) don't have a rash. No to sexual contact, no to shaving/waxing/exfoliation. Have dealt with several bouts of yeast skin infections in the past; this is different.

I also used eucerin calming body wash and eucerin calming cream, as well as gold bond medicated lotion. Good luck and keep us posted on how you're doing.
