Avatar m tn He gaved me NYSTATIN and TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE OINTMENT USP. It worked for a couple of days but then the ointment was gone , and i had no more refill. After only one day, the irritation started again. I went to the doctor again and he gaved me TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%. After 1 week of using this, my hand looked a lot better, but I dont have cream anymore... and after 2 days the irritation has arrived again. I am really scared. What should i do?

Avatar f tn Recently they have flared back up again and have become quite uncomfortable. I have a Nyastin/Triamcinolone acetonide ointment that expired in November, would it be safe to use this or should I go back to the doctor for another prescription? Over the counter medicine has never worked for me. Also, is it normal for a 20 year old to have hemorrhoids?
Avatar f tn I'm 19 years old. I've had 3 ringworm outbreaks in less than a year, but I'm still not sure if it's ringworm. It always starts out with 1, 2, or 3 small red bumps. All the bumps have a white head and can be ruptured. If i scratch it or rupture the bumps by applying cream, it spreads. It is itchy, but only sometimes. But it never forms a circle. The bumps itself is in a circular form, but it is just a cluster of small raised bumps, not a ring with a clear center.
4494421 tn?1355435226 I used an over the counter cream " Triamcinolone Acetonide " and it worked great for me. Other then that maybe others will chime in here but you can also check in the search box.
Avatar n tn or a type of fungus and any suggestions of ointment I can use? I have a 2yr old rx of triamcinolone acetonide . .
Avatar m tn Decadron® (dexamethasone) 4 mg is not the therapeutic equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg. Using the Lexi-Calc corticosteroid conversion formula, the ratio of the 2 would be close to 5:1. So it would take Decadron® (dexamethasone) 16 mg to be approximately the equivalent of Kenalog® (triamcinolone acetonide) 80 mg.
Avatar m tn The rash was looking a bit different and they thought it was a fungal rash and perscribed atarax, clotrimazole cream usp, 1% and triamcinolone acetonide cream .01% I used that and put vasaline on top of it and it went away. About three weeks ago it came back the doctor told me it was contact dermatitis and perscribed triamcinolone acetonide .025% lotion it got worse. I am thinking it is a reaction to one of my medications geodon.
Avatar n tn I was told to use Triamcinolone 0.1% Ointment 454gm. This was end of January. After using this ointment for a few weeks it seemed to clear up. That didn't last long. After that it came right back real bad. Is this normal? How can I get this to go away?
Avatar n tn i have been to dermotolgist and he said it was sensitive skin or allergic to uv rays. i have tried triamcinolone acetonide cream that the doctor prescribed and only helps alittle on itching. this has been going on for a year now. any suggestions?
Avatar n tn prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1. Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.
Avatar n tn I tried using moisturizers to control this but they only helped a little. I went to my primary-care physician and she prescribed me steroid (triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%) cream and ointment (the cream was to be used once a day in the mornings, and the ointment was to be used once a day in the evenings). She instructed me to use the cream/ointment very sparingly, avoid getting or rubbing it into my eyes, and to only use for 14 days. After 14 days I am supposed to switch to an emollient.
Avatar m tn i went to the doctors office and she said it really didnt look like an std, she gave me nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. it hasnt let up yet. so i went to the health department and got all the std tests they havent come back yet. but the doctor that looks at all the stds there said she didnt think it was an std either. im just wondering what this could be and how to get rid of it.
Avatar f tn t start using any now. This would include Triamcinolone Acetonide ointment, which is commonly prescribed for eczema flare ups. Don't use this one on the backs of your hands, because it is a steroid, too. Vitamin K 1 and vitamin K 2 should also help. Only take the minimum dosages, unless you are getting these from dietary sources, like natto. (Go to mercola.com for more information on all of this. He will also give the correct amount to use.
Avatar m tn as long as you dont scratch it and keep it clean itll go away faster and itll be a less of a chance to not spread it.. ive been using this ointment called Triamcinolone acetonide ointment USP, 0.1% .. it seems to be helping me.. my bumps have been getting smaller.. and they arent itchy at all.. i googled and didnt see anything about not being able to use it.. but its really starting to make it go away... and i use cortizone cream when its really itchy.. you can also use the cream called aldara.
Avatar n tn I have some itch, is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% a good cream for this? Are there any side effects to this cream?
Avatar f tn I was prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide cream when i found out that i had eczema. I used it like it said only putting it on my legs (where the majority of my eczema was at the time.) every other day. I only put on a very thin amount because thats what i was told. Soon after finishing my first container of the cream i started noticing my legs were starting to discolor some. Then all of a sudden i started getting thick dark stretch marks on the inner part of my legs.
2091106 tn?1332817998 I'm calling it a rash, but I don't really know what it is. I took a picture of it and downloaded it as my profile picture. It itches and is a redish color. I have had it for a couple months and it hasn't gone away. I have been using Triamcinolone Acetonide cream from someone, but it hasn't helped. I don't have any money to see a doctor so any help would be great.
Avatar m tn using a prescription ointment called Triamcinolone Acetonide Ointment 0.1% twice a day on the rash got rid of it in about a week. At the same time we bought Nike chin guard sleeves at ****'s and use them all the time so the sweaty chin guard isn't directly touching the skin. The rash never came back after this.
Avatar n tn I wish you were right on this one. I don't think you are. I had my right knee replaced four years ago and the numbness in my feet never went away. I recently had my left knee replaced and now the numbness has increased from just the ball of my feet to all except the heal area on both feet. I believe it is a result of the Epidural for pain. I have been checked for nerve sensation and they don't find anything wrong, but that doesn't keep it from feeling numb.
Avatar n tn I went through the same thing every prescription you can imagine even all the over the counter stuff I suffered for months, my eczema was bad my pits, my back my neck, stomach, between my thighs I was covered then my obg prescribed me triamcinolone acetonide ointment 0.5% and it has worked miracles I used it for a week and it cleared everything, maybe it will do the same for you.
Avatar m tn And if it makes a difference, I started smoking roughly 2 years ago as well. The cream my doctor prescribed to me is "Triamcinolone Acetonide" My dermatologist also gave me samples of Topicort, Protopic and Vertical Ointment. I do not know the results of those three since I have not used them regularly. I just know the Triamcinolone clears up the rash very quickly, but the rash will come back within a few days after I stop using it.
Avatar f tn m freaking out. I have been using triamcinolone acetonide for two days now it this is what it looks like. I don't smoke, I don't drink or do drugs. It seems to be getting smaller but now it's starting to bleed...
