My next cycle was regular 28days. One day 1 of my period I started tri-sprintec, but discontinued it after 3 pills. This month my period is now going on 5 days late and 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Is this normal? I did have unprotected sex during this month, but my husband did not ejaculate inside of me. Therefore this month i started taking Eth estradi/norgestimate and I feel very lazy and sleepy all the time and I see that I have been gaining weight. My question is is what I am taking now the same as what I was taking before because that is what the pharmacy told me? If it is not the same can I stop them now or do I have to wait until I finish this one pack?

I'm on birth control pills called Tri-sprintec. It's the generic of Ortho Tri-cyclen. I stopped taking them for a little while partly because my partner and I really have no time to be intimate and it's hard for me to remember to take them everyday. Anyhow, I started taking them again two months ago.
I was not gaining weight on the scale and had recently lost weight before this. I have been watching it and noticed that it is getting worse. I also bloat even more after eating. My fingers swell and fluctuate in size.
For a few months, I have also had lower back pain that feels musculature but I can't figure out the cause other than changing hormones. It sometimes radiates down one leg or the other. This seems to be improving though.

I'm 18 years old and I started taking tri sprintec birth control at the beginning of September and my period started in the second week of the pack. Its been 2 and half weeks and my period still won't stop and it keeps getting heavier and heavier and I've never had this problem. I called my gyno and they said to wait about 3 months and see what happens, but I don't think I can wait that long my period and cramps are killing me and I'm really moody lately.

However, in June I missed my period, and my hair loss returned. I got bloodwork done, and my endocrinologist diagnosed me with having high testosterone levels. Everything else appeared regular. She prescribed me sprintec 28 day tablets. I am writing this post because I am a bit spooked by everything I have read on the internet about this birth control. I am terrified of gaining weight, especially because I believe my higher levels of T have caused me to recently.
Just kidding... I am on Tri-Sprintec, not Ortho-Tri-Cyclen Lo. I don't know if it makes a difference though.

Hi. I'm not sure this is the right place for this question, but I'm sort of desperate. I've been experiencing hot flashes, hair loss, dry eyes, and irregular periods for about eight months. I'm only twenty-four, so these symptoms have been worrying me quite a bit. I visited my doctor in June, and he ordered a thyroid test. My results were completely normal. I shrugged everything off to stress and went on with my life. Unfortunately, the hot flashes became worse.

so Tuesday I took two pills (for Sunday and Monday) and Wednesday I took two pills ( for Tuesday and Wednesday). By Thursday I was back on track and Took one pill. Friday I took one pill and Saturday I took one pill. Saturday night I had unprotected sex. Sunday which is today, I took one pill. Would I have been back on track before having sex on that Saturday and could i have had an increased chance of getting pregnant?
It is absolutely Normal to lose weight in the first trimester of pregnancy. It's not exactly easy to put on weight with all the nausea and morning sickness women experience in the first tri. If your ob hasn't made a big issue about your weight loss then don't stress about it.
I have been on tri-sprintec for 2 months. This sunday i will be starting my third pack of pills. So right now I'm on the sugar pills and this will be my third day taking them. I haven't started my period yet. My boyfriend and I just had sex last week and we used a condom a couple times but we also didn't use one. He pulled out every time even when we used a condom. Could i be pregnant or do you think i'll start my period soon?
I am currently taking Tri-Sprintec, and a week before and after my period I do not have discharge. However, the other two weeks, I have excessive discharge daily. I've talked to my MD about it and she thinks that since I don't have any other crazy side effects or issues besides the discharge, then I should basically deal with it. Because If I go onto another birth control I might have worse side effects etc.
