The only treatment I have seen for flathead is a helmet made especially for infants who have this flathead appearance. Years ago, there was no treatment available. I believe that once the plates of the skull close together, there is no treatment.
You would have to see an orthopedist to determine if anything can be done. Second choice would be a plastic surgeon. They can do so much nowadays, removing bone and replacing it with other bones from somewhere else on the body.
Is this a long term condition? If it is you could have Crohn's Disease or one of the Irritable Bowel / Gastroenteritis conditions. Night sweats, Nausea, Abdominal Pain are also associated with these conditions.

I went up there and took her to the doctor and she was basically told is was a stomach virus (gastroenteritis) drink plenty of fluids and it should go away in a couple of days but when I look up Gastroenteritis it says that it's common in people with weaken immune system caused by HIV.
She took her 3 month birth control shot the morning before but I'm sure that didn't cause Gastroenteritis. My question is should I be concerned about HIV at this point.

My 4 month old son has been diagnosed with high myopia (-20 in one eye and -22 in the other). We have seen two specialists and they recommend different methods of treatment. Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?

Although TSH concentrations in the first few months of life typically are higher, persistent basal TSH concentrations of greater than 10 mU per L after two weeks of age generally are considered abnormal and should be treated. Infants who do not receive treatment should have repeat measurement of FT4 and TSH at two and four weeks, with initiation of treatment if results remain abnormal.
It seems, according to this, that treatment is warranted at levels over 10 for infants.
It will remain in baby's system. Especially if you took them for more than 2 weeks. You need to let your OB know even if it leaves both systems because if you we're abusing them and taking them for a long period of time we can't diagnose the outcome. No judgement, but please for the sake of your innocent baby tell your Dr. You made the right decision to stop taking them. Best wishes!

One day I was fine and the next day I had diarrhea, chills and fever. I went to a gastroenterologist and received a treatment for gastroenteritis. It didn't work, my syptoms got worse, I had fever every other 5 days, high fever 39 degrees and every morning some kind of watery and yellowish diarrhea. I had a colonoscopy and my doctor told me I had crohn's disease but the biopsy came out inconclusive.
