wrinkles

Avatar n tn With Retin A (tretinoin) acne treatment, it is highly recommended that it should be kept away from the eyes, the mouth, angles of the nose, and mucous membranes. This is because topical use may induce severe local erythema and peeling at the site of application. Check with your doctor for proper management with the wrinkles that is best for you. Take care and regards.
1323580 tn?1274669941 I purposely started using the Tretinoin .05 generic cream in the winter so when i started the treatment i could avoid for the most part the problem of sunburns. I have been using it for two weeks now putting it on once a day before i go to bed and using a moisturizer in the morning to help with flaking. There are a few things i wished i had asked my dermatologist when i was there that I'm wondering now though.
Avatar n tn t have wrinkles normally) under both eyes. It does not itch - feels more like tight, sunburned skin and looks like I was in a fight. Any idea? My dr. just put me on Prednisone.
Avatar n tn The skin on my cheek peeled off nicely, however the skin under my eye looks as if I have more wrinkles now (the skin did not peel off directly under eye but around eyes). When I put the 5% glycolic acid cream on I did not use any moisturizer and skin seemed tight for a few days (I was afraid to put anything on the skin at that point). My question is did I cause a permanent damage and will have these wrinkles under eyes permanently?
Avatar m tn Hi, I have used salicylic acid face wash heavily along with Benzoyl Peroxide, my skin type is really sensitive. My under eyes have gonna really red and burt and left me with deep wrinkles when smiling, one of the eyes have completely recovered as it didn't have much deep wrinkles, although the other eye looks really wrinkly and the wrinkles look deep, I am only 21 and my skin was like baby's skin, didn't have any wrinkles before the bp use.
Avatar f tn Dear babygirl08005, I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine the best treatment for your eyes. Wrinkle creams will not help the eczema, which may also be occurring around the skin of your eyelids. Dr. Feldman Sandy T. Feldman, M.D., M.S.
Avatar f tn If your cholesterol is normal then this is a normal aging change like your hair turning gray and wrinkles developing on the skin. No there is no treatment for it. It is not worth wearing colored contacts to hide the ring. I'm assuming you have seen an ophthalmologist but perhaps you haven't. In that case see an Eye MD ophthalmologist for a complete eye exam and to confirm this is a corneal arcus and not something like a peripheral corneal degeneration.
Avatar n tn Hello~ I am curious to what route of treatment you pursued. Have you received any help? I had 2 bouts with cancer and RAI 11 years ago. My eyes "stream" so badly that I'm getting wrinkles under my eyes and look much older than I am. I haven't received any answers from any doctor I have asked. The neuro ophthalmologist couldn't get anything to drain in any tear duct. If I have dye placed in my eye it remains the entire day. I need help!
Avatar f tn The lines on my forehead are faint. But when i push down, its like a dent where the line is. I have wrinkles on my jaws, mouth and under eyes as well. And acne. I use to have such beautiful skin. Has anyone experienced this?
Avatar n tn s and have been using retinol for my face for years now and i find it really effective. I was wondering if i can use it under my eyes as well. The skin under my eyes have fine lines, and looks dull and dry. if not, what can you recommend I could use to make it more youthful looking? Thank you.
Avatar n tn around day 4 I noticed that the skin under my eyes had become tender, red and slightly swollen. Then appeared wrinkled and puffy. I am 47 so although I do have some wrinkles .... this looks different ...droopy sort of and puffy at the same time. Slightly itchy as well. Do you think this is from the antibiotic? I have been finished with it for 2 days now. My eye sight is fine.
Avatar m tn What can I do to help the area (like for the pain, the irritation, etc.)? Is it possibly an allergy to one of the ingredients I use? Or is it something else? Thank you!
Avatar n tn almost like it was sunburn (i have not been in the sun). 6 hours later, i was horrified to see a bunch of wrinkles under my eyes...well defined and they were not there previously. i immediately thought of allergy, and have been on benydril since, and while the condition is no worse, the eye wrinkles are still quite prevailing. any thoughts?

Avatar n tn It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. Treatment can be started only when the diagnosis is confirmed. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar f tn Now my eye lids (the one that had pink eye is the worse) are swollen, pink and itch like HE**. They are crusty and burn, and I have wrinkles in the corner of my eyes and my lids seem to droop I also have a huge bag under the eye that had pink eye. Avatar n tn So I've had an extremely red eyelash line on my upper and lower eyelids for about 2 weeks. My eyes look very dark and 'saggy' on the eyelids, and the lower eyelash line has developed wrinkles. My skin itself has also gone very dull and dry, even when I use heavy duty moisturiser it doesn't do anything, seems to almost just sit on my skin and not absorb. Its really really effecting me emotionally as I can really see it and I have an almost ill, zombie looking complexion.
Avatar f tn Had successful cataract surgery in both eyes. Have noticed since 2nd surgery that sclera of my eyes has darkened. When I look closely at it, there are small red blood vessels visible that weren't there before. My sclera have always been as white as a piece of paper but now they look muddy. The medication I put in my eyes after surgery didn't seem to have negative side effects at the time I was using it, but could that have permanently affected my sclera?
Avatar n tn Wrinkles may be lessened by using moisturizers. These products may smoothen out skin and also improve fine lines over the eyes and near the mouth. Vitamin E cream may be a good choice when used to moisturize. Also, using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 during the day or during prolonged exposure to the sun may help reduce wrinkles. Drink plenty of water and use only a mild facial cleanser such as Cetaphil over the face.
198419 tn?1360242356 The surgeon I work for says so. NOTHING. It has something to do with how the fat is distributed under the fascia layer....blah, blah. Believe me. NOTHING. That is all. This has been a public service announcement.* Dr.
Avatar f tn Because of the suddenness of the wrinkling, the placemnet of it (being where the electrolysis treatment was done) and the timing of it (during the healing process), I can't bring myself to believe that this could be caused by aging (which I thought happens gradually and in the form of crows feet and brackets before anything else).
Avatar f tn There are medical conditions such as thyroid problems that change the prominence of the eyes. In your case it may be just normal for you, but your eyes are important, so get them checked at least every other year if you can.
Avatar n tn Is it normal if you stare at your skin in bright light to see extremely fine lines around the mouth area besides the regular laugh lines further u p closer to the cheek. when i smile i get wrinkles around the eye and upper cheek. when i stop smilling i could see traces of those lines. not very obvious no one can see it only from up close. Is it normal to see such lines? or I am examing my skin too closely.
