GET ointment is an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and sterriod cream. its usually prescribed for severe diaper rashes. (keep in mind this was not on her diaper area.it was *near* her diaper area on her leg.) i applied this cream on my daughter until i noticed that the rash was spreading down her legs only 3 days later. alarmed i took her to an Emergency Room doctor. he told me that it was just exema and to apply a stronger sterriod cream on her. it was triamcinolone acetonide cream 0.025%.
At first i found an itchy patch under my arm and thought nothing of it till the next day, it had developed into rashes and had spread to my neck and shoulder.
When i went to see my GP, he had to ask for a second opinion as he though they were some kind of bites but the send GP had put it down to Shaving infections, even though i had stressed that i only use tweezers, he insisted that they were the same thing!!! And was prescribed anit-biotics both orally & cream form for 7 days.
Been to many doctors and they dismiss it at exema or dermititis or scabies. Would love anyone who can point me in the right direction.
Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.

I have so many symptoms, and they are all getting worse lately, almost to the point where I am having trouble functioning on a daily basis. I suffer from eczema, but recently the itching doesn't form any rashes or scabs, and it feels like something is crawling under my skin. At night it gets so so so bad, I couldn't sleep without scratching away for 2 whole hours. It only itches severely and gets really disrupting after I lie down on the bed, or after I have slept for a few hours. I would then start itching all over. The itch would subside when I fall back asleep again.

Ummmmm Fiji,Great, My feeling is you are correct in your assumption of Allergys,Rashes and Runny nose are symptoms of Allergy, also.Get her to make some notes of what she is doing, eaten ,prior to the incidents check the stuff you spray around if you spray Bug spray I dont know your climate ,do you get Bugs in the Winter is there any specific virus around then, the search engine may help, allergys are hard to track,it means eliminating things one at a time, then re introducing them.

it does look like eczema and that is what i convinced myself that it was...there is no cure for that anyway...just treat the symptoms is all u can do...mine bled very easily when i clawed at them....yuck!...glad this summer i can wear shorts.....i did not have that for years on the hydros then one day i did....it took a while for me to figure out what it was from...for me it was the hydros...r u planning to quit?...
It could be possible that your starting through the change of life that can cause you to have symptoms of puberty like you had in your teens to occur. Then quite possibly you may have exema or some other sort of skin problem just starting. If you run your fingers through your hair often during the day you get oils out of your skin and can make your hair oily.
However her dermatologist says she has exema and the hives. Gave her protopic cream and zyrtec 5mg to take once a day. However this problem has been going on for well over a year. Now when she puts her cream on, it doesn't giver her relief, it actually has been hurting her (burning). It's so hard to get into the dermatologist when she has these outbreaks. I don't know what else to do for her.
Finally a dermatologist gave her a cream. He said she had exema. She had to use gloves to wash dishes or use any cleaning chemicals, putting the white cotton gloves underneath. She would put the ointment that the dr gave her on it, then neosporin on top of that. It would clear it right up. I had a place like that on my leg and did what she said, 1st the ointment and neosporine on top of that and it cleared right up. Exema (know I spelled it wrong) is heredity according to the dr.
i know what you said teak, and i really appriciate your knowledge on this disease, but i just want to know something are these rashes typical characteristics of an ars rash, because i just can't get these symptoms out of my mind, plus i also have rashes on my upper back and face, which are greatly the spots for hiv rash......
I have 3 children, they all have this to some extent and our local doctors have no idea what it is. They have ruled out exema. It is worse in my boys than in my daughter. Their hands will get a white raised blister which will then peel off layers of skin. They are also sensitive to light (in case it helps)
I've attached a photo of my oldest son's hands. Now they do look normal at times and then every couple months or so this happens, i've found it to be worse during summer months.
My symptoms are little clear blisters on the passion of my left hand. My fingers are really dry, hot, red, itchy and swolen. It feels like they are throbbing around my joints. They ooze a clear liquid. There is a constant itch that doesn't go away. I been diagnosed with exema from the docs and I religiously use Aveeno cream and a steriod cream at night, I have used various different steriod creams to no avail. I am getting really depressed as the irritation and pain is constant now.
