Avatar f tn I'm a bit confused. You said that you have been forging scripts for narcotics with no problem, and then said you haven't taken anything narcotic since August? How are you able to do this? Do you work for a doctor, or do you have a prescription pad? Has there been any update since your post? Please let us know. As nursegirl said, now would be the time to get honest, and begin to deal with this upfront. Keep posting, we can help you with support!
Avatar f tn I agree with comment above that it is very strange that the pharmacists filled the tramadol. My brother ia a Lt with drug task force. He has told me stories of this kind of thing and if I remember correctly the pharmacist can get into trouble for filling it as well as yourself. I hats to tell you this but the pharmacist could have faxed a copy back to the doctor. But again he filled it - weird!
Avatar f tn I visited this link they say that it is illegal to buy medication from internet without prescription but I have a prescription and it will be renewed, Also they have all the other medication on the list but not tramadol.
Avatar m tn Hi everyone, I am in this situation now that is extremely hard for me to deal with and I know there's not much anyone on the internet can do but maybe someone could give me some encouraging advice. At age 20 I went to the doctor because I was having headaches and bad anxiety attacks. Now keep in mind I have no insurance and I'm a father of a little girl along with my wife.
Avatar n tn I Just need to know if it is true that if you are take/prescribed Tramadol, and you take a drug test, you CAN show positive for Opiates or for Oxycodone?
Avatar m tn bumped for someone with more Tramadol/Ultram knowledge.
Business man2 Hydrocodone only comes with either acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Tramadol is another medication that I use with my patients that is of equal effectiveness but does come without the other medications. However, some patients will experience nausea with tramadol. Good luck!
Avatar n tn A week later it came back full force, so I asked my doctor for more Tramadol. He prescribed me to another prescription, this time 120, with the same directions. I depleted the bottle down to 20 within a month and half and went on vacation for a few days and left them at home. A day into the vacation I started to get a really scratchy, swollen throat. It lasted until I took my next dose of the medication. Almost like magic the soar throat disappeared.
Avatar f tn WTF?????? I keep getting a call from CVS Pharamacy saying my prescription is ready. I had canceled them all! Ugh so I look on line and they have filled my tramadol with 3 refills. Come on!!!! It's like a bad joke :( bad nightmare!! Yes you know how my drug addict mind is smoking!!!
Avatar m tn I used Tramadol the last month of my addiction. Currently 4 days with no pills at all. Norco's were also mu drug of choice. I tapered those and for the last month I took the Tram & then tapered those as well. It really seemed to help for me! WD's this time around are far less painful both mentally & physically. Lack of sleep is still an issue but I can deal with that. Everyone is different tho. What works for some mite npt work for others. Good luck!! Yesterday was Friday...
1830782 tn?1318496076 Hi I have been taking Tramadol for about 6 months now (prior to TKR) However foe the past month have been having problems with nausea and headaches. So my GP who has done bloods (awaiting results), it was suggested that it could be a reaction to the tramadol. Has anyone had experience of this?
Avatar n tn I suggest you wait AT LEAST 24 hours from your last DHC/Tramadol dose before taking suboxone, if not longer (36 hours). Im no doctor but this information is readily available on the manufacturers website. As you have already discovered, precipitated withdrawals isnt very nice so its definitely in your best interest to be especially prudent and wait as long as you possibly can. Anyways. all the best on your journey. Kind regards Jeremy. Recovered Ex-Addict.
Avatar f tn Tramadol IS addicting. It may not have the same properties that Oxy and Vicadin have, but it's addicting nonetheless and prone to misuse. I also have severe carpel tunnel. I'm scheduled for surgery on both wrists on 1/21. In the meantime, my dr. has prescribed gabapentin for me. It's used as both an epileptic anti-seizure medication and nerve pain. I found that it really does help the pain and it's not a narcotic.
Avatar f tn No need to suffer seriously don't do that. If you can no longer get the medication and you can't get off of it without suffering go talk to a Suboxone doctor it works.
Avatar m tn Unfortunately, there are side effects with every medication. Personally, I am not a fan of Tramadol as it can be very difficult to come off and I think there are much better both long-acting and shorting-acting meds that can be used.
768044 tn?1294223436 I'm really annoyed with my plan, basically because I have a prescription but no comprehensive instructions. I used to know when to take my abortive, but now that I have such a high migraine, and get higher spikes on a routine basis, I almost never know when I should have taken my Frova until it's too late. I'm planning on getting more specific instructions as to when to take my abortive, and hopefully get a painkiller stronger than tramadol, next time I see my neuro.
Avatar m tn Do you folks out there think that 2 weeks use of Tramadol I-CL 50 mg tab, taking 4 per day, will cause me problems with withdrawl? I have about 30 left and wonder if I should throw them out. They don't get me high, but thats probably due to the 135 mgs of methadone I take every day. Please respond folks, and give me your opinion.
1990163 tn?1326818682 Addendum: No one in my family knows the severity of my addiction. My husband knows I've had troubles in the past. He also knows they're like candy to me, so he actually keeps any in the house in his pocket at all times so I can't sneak any. What he doesn't know is that I've had prescriptions from my doctor for over six months, which I've kept secret. Sadly, when I don't ask him for one, he thinks I'm doing well.
Avatar f tn Listen, I want to tell you guys something...I've been taking tramadol for 8 years along with lortab and it helps with my back pain, but when my prescription runs out I suffer horrible withdrawal. Withdrawls from opiates, unlike ANY other drug are very real..the pain is not a mental thing...at all. Its physical and it causes fever, diarrhea, the shakes, I'm 26 years old and I know I'm young, but. Dr has prescribed them for years and take my word...this is not a habbit you want.
Avatar m tn and have had this secret addiction for 10 years off and on but now the time has come to quit after my addiction has gotten me in legal trouble manipulating a prescription. I knew this was coming...I have been off tramadol for a week but after two days of ct, I had a dental surgery which gave me me oxycodone which I have tried to use sparingly to deal with the withdrawals of tramadol. I'm using less than 40 mgs since last week 20 in the a.m. and 20 in the p.
