Avatar n tn Can I take Hydrocodone 10/325, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg, and Tramadol 50mg together safely?
483757 tn?1208481255 I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 4th child. My OB took me off of all of my Fibro meds at the beginning of pregnancy. (Meds were- Neurontin, Cyclobenzaprine, Baclofen, Trazodone, Vit. D and Tramadol) The only thing she will allow me to take is 1/2 to 1 tab of Vicodin 10/500mg a day even though narcotics have NEVER worked for my pain and she knows that- and I hate Vicodin.
Avatar m tn Among the drugs you are taking Cymbalta causes memory loss, Pamelor, cyclobenzaprine, nortriptyline, hydrocodone and promethazine cause confusion, Tramadol causes hallucination and together all these drugs can affect your memory. You need a serious revision of your prescription. Please consult your treating doctor. Take care!

Concomitant use of tramadol increases the seizure risk in patients taking: •Selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRI antidepressants or anorectics), •Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), and other tricyclic compounds (e.g., cyclobenzaprine, promethazine, etc.), or •Other opioids.
Avatar f tn My brother is on welfare and the doctors at the clinic have given him the following meds. Tramadol 50 mg, Trazadone 50mg,Amitriptyline 10mg, cyclobenzaprine 10mg, Hydrocodone/APAP 5mg/500mg. In addition he was also given medication for Diabetes Type II, metformin 850 mg, glipizide 5mg, lisinopril 5 mg, simvastatin 20mg, Asprin 81 mg, Ranitidine 150 mg. Additionally he was also prescribed Naproxen 500mg and Alumina Magnesia 360 ml. I think this is too much medication. Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn At that time I had a severe reaction to naproxen and developed severe ankle to hip pain. Then my doctor put me on tramadol with cyclobenzaprine. I was still experiencing shots of pain down my arms About a month later, so my doctor had me get a MRI of my neck. The MRI showed I have small, minimal, and broad posterior disc bulge but does not contact the cord throughout C2-3, C3-4, C4-5, C5-6, C6-7; C7-T1 is normal.

1653969 tn?1390331661 The instant sleep thing will go away after you establish a routine with it. Wish that I could really help you - but yours isnt a common complaint with flexeril. Do you do any breathing exercises? A couple of minutes of tai chi and meditation and particularly the breathing exercises are very valid therapies.

990354 tn?1307132886 Serotonin Syndrome Risk The development of a potentially life-threatening serotonin syndrome may occur with use of tramadol products, including ULTRAM ER, particularly with concomitant use of serotonergic drugs such as SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, MAOIs and triptans, with drugs which impair metabolism of serotonin (including MAOIs) and with drugs which impair metabolism of tramadol (CYP2D6 and CYP3A4 inhibitors). This may occur within the recommended dose.
Avatar n tn I was terrified of withdrawls but I have also been on Tramadol for the past 12 months as well as Vicodin. Suprisingly with the Tramadol I felt vertually no withdrawls. However as Christos stated Tramadol can be quite addictive and cause siezures. I blacked out and got a concussion a few weeks ago, I was alone so I don't know what happened if it was or was not a siezure so please be careful if you take it. I also am taking a regular routine of Ativan.

Avatar f tn The doctor put me on Tramadol for pain and made an appt. with my regular MD April 5th. I am scared because heart disease runs in my family, hypertension and stroke, some diabetes. I feel it would be wise for me to see my orthopaedist about my leg and see a specialist about my BP, cardiologist maybe. I have a heart murmur have since childhood, leaky valve, mitral valve prolapse.

Avatar f tn What's the deal with tramadol? Been using it for years. Built up a tolerance for it and take twice as much as I used to for the same pain relief. It does not get me high like opiates so it is safe right?

Avatar n tn Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward. Due to the lack of data in subjects with more severe hepatic insufficiency, the use of Cyclobenzaprine HCl in subjects with moderate to severe impairment is not recommended. http://www.drugs.com/pro/cyclobenzaprine.
Avatar f tn Risk of convulsions may also increase in patients with epilepsy, those with a history of seizures, or in patients with a recognized risk for seizure (such as head trauma, metabolic disorders, alcohol and drug withdrawal, CNS infections). In tramadol overdose, naloxone administration may increase the risk of seizure.
Avatar f tn Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
Avatar m tn I was going thru whitdrawls from Tramadol. This is a terrible drug like cathy5841 says you get double whammed from this drug with antidep.and opioid type whitdrawls. They never worked for my pain very good either compared to the Vicodin i was on. It never gave me a high more of a detached feeling that i did not like. I will never take this drug again for pain. My advise would be to stay away from it. There are lots of posts in here on Tramadol/Ultram. Hope it works out good for you.
