I was on narco for 4 years then as my pain was worse, my pain specialist started Started me on endocet 10mg. ( oxycodone 10mg with acetaminophen 325mg.) Percocet is oxycodone 5 mg with acetaminophen 325mg) I started the endocet by taking 1/2 tablet to 1tablet 4 times a day,, I found the oxycodone to be better for me than the norco. My pain specialist does not like having to adjust methadone doses..... I have been on endocet 10mg for 7 years..and with the same pain specialist for 13 yrs..

taking endocet 10-650mg once or twice a day withamoxicillin 500mg three times a day, but causing a lot of overall weakness, upset stomach like gas, feel sleepy all day, constipated.

Off of tramadol now for 3 weeks. But now i stopped vicoden and endocet recently...sat night 4-2 to b exact. Im married and have two kids and its pushing my family too much for them to handle. Im in such hell. I cant get out of bed by myself because of my back pain.almost 5 days of sweating and high fever..body aches..all the horrible effects. Im so torn i need help. Breaking point. I have had two mild seizures since sunday. Im scared...my mind is going mock 5. I need help...

t know anything about Sub, except it is suppose to be three times as strong as Tramadol. And since you are on Tramadol now, I say stay on that and taper off that. Why keep bouncing back and forth from one to the other? It will only bring you pain and discomfort.

The only reason why Tramadol (Ultracet, Ultram, etc.) is not considered a narcotic is because at the moment it is unscheduled in the USA and pretty much everywhere else. It is fairly new being researched and first put on the market in the 90's.

Vicodin is stronger then Tramadol. I think if you get put on tramadol you will be in alot more pain. My father inlaw takes it and it does nothing for him. I took it and it did nothing for me. Vicodin on the other hand did help my pain alittle. I would try to talk him into not doing it, ask him what is the main reason for changing your meds. I hate to say it but if you get them changed like that you will be in alot more pain. This is just my option. Tramadol did nothing for me.

i have taken vicodin for about 10 years now. I have never increased the dosage or abuse the med. my dr recently put me on tramadol which i'll try anything. i am to take 2 tramadol twice daily or as needed along with 800 mg ibuprofen twice daily. i have not found any resolve with this medication (i have been on it 2 weeks). i also have not had any typical withdrawl symptoms from stopping the vicodin. i have degeneration of my t3 and t4 vertebre and spinal rotation and of course subluxation.

Tramadol is just as addicting and worse to come off of .I would look into non narcotic aleratives . ...

ultracet has acetominophen (tylenol) in them, and the tramadol doesnt. They can come in varying dosages. Why is he taking them? Does he want to quit? Tram is a dangerous drug to take and to stop, you have to taper down slowly or you could have seizures. You can have seizures from takign too many as well. How long has he been on them?

Vicodin is a higher pain killer than tramadol. Tramadol to me is no different to tylenol, then i have some friends that are addicted to it. I am coming off of vicodin and i dont sugest anyone take it for any periods of time. I dont know your story but if possible i would stray from vicodin. LIke i said i have used them both and vicodin gave the the pain relief and the "high" i was looking for tramadol didnt even touch the pain.

I have been dealing with Severe Depression, so I started taking Endocet pills, usually one a day for the past few weeks. I would take it in the morning when I woke up, to get me out of bed and going because it made me feel a little happy and speedy. So my question is...I know i am psychologically dependent, but am i physically? I dont experience any withdrawl that I know of, after it wears off, I just think about them alot.

I am SO sorry to hear about your husbands horiffic pain levels currently. I happened to have taken all the meds he is currently on so do know a little about them. I was up to 900mg of Gabapentin daily and my Dr finally switched me over to Lyrica which did work better than the Gabapentin, it is mostly used to treat Fibromyalgia but also works well for nerve type pain. I still take Endocet 10/325mg but only 20mg a day for breakthrough pain. WOW, is he really taking 8-10 10mg Endocet daily?

I recently found myself in a position where I have no Vs and am unable to obtain any. My doc had given my Adderol for depression and for focusing so I can work. I find that when I'm going through the w/d, the adderol helps with the cravings and other w/d effects, except the sleepless nights, crazy legs and no appetite. I was doing up to 20 Vs a day for chronic back and neck pain from ruptured discs. So many of us have this problem.

Hi, I have an almost 14yo pit bull that is on both Metacam and Tramadol. rimadyl is an NSAID, similar to metacam and some others. Tramadol is opiate based but considered safe for dogs. My pit was on rimadyl for a year or so, then we switched to metacam which the vet said was a little stronger, then after about 2 years we added the tramadol. I wake at 5 AM, I take 3 shots of vodka with a 10/325 Endocet and 1 Tylenol 3 with codeine. - At noon, I take 3 shots of vodka and a 10/325 Endocet, and one half mg Xanax. - At dinner I take 3 shots vodka and a 10/325 Endocet. At night I I have one drink, 1mg Xanax, and 5/325 percocet. I go to bed early, before midnight. I dont sleep over two hours at once, up at 5am with the runs and withdraw next morning, go to bathroom, take shower, and start again.

I have been taking Tramadol for about two years. I do not take more than I should, actually less, usually 200 mg, 250mg max a day. Works great. Allows me to work and keep up my household. Other than the addiction part what would be the long term problem with this? I am over 60 and have a lot of arthritis and back pain.

Did some research and found that it's not the best way Bc you too can be addicted. What can I do for w/d I have two small children and a husband with a full time 6day work week. any recommendations. I SNOOPED, and found that one Doctor wrote her a prescription for 150 endocet, on 4-1-08 then wrote her 90 more on 4-22-08 650 mlg. She also had 100 Oxycodone (empty), Naproxen (empty), Hydrocodone (empty) plus some others (empty) The 150 endocet were gone and 51 of the bottle of 90 (had 8 days) gone. The Oxy and other pills were from 2 other doctors, but isn't it the Doctor who should be reported if he is prescribing over 200 endocet within a month?
