Avatar f tn I have been taking it twice a day for 2 years now, along with Zoloft, Serouel, Tramadol, and Klonopin. I do not abuse any of these drugs, and take them only as prescribed. The only problem I ever had with any of these is the Tramadol: if I take it (it is 'as'need' for ody fatigue), I must take the lowest possible dose, as too much can cause siezures when combined with the rest of my meds.
Avatar m tn I was also prescribed Klonopin for the anxiety, but I literally felt zero relief from taking 1mg, and higher doses didn't help either. They just made me forgetful and tired, but I still had racing thoughts in my mind and anxiety. I have smoked weed for a couple years now, and that was always the only thing that helped, but it didn't cure it.
2117997 tn?1339537769 I have taken Tramadol in the past for pain and had no withdrawals when I quit using it.
5262038 tn?1415312585 I know how you feel, my doctor had me on 20mlg oxycodone with 10 tramadol a day. I was only taking the tramadol the last month before I quit. It is no fun. But we got this. Find the positive in everything.
Avatar f tn So, I'm just wondering how long withdrawal from Tramadol usually lasts. I have been doing a lot better lately; the brain zaps are very infrequent, and I usually feel okay on just 2mgs of Suboxone a day. I want to stop taking the Sub when the withdrawal from Tramadol should be over, but I heard that Tramadol withdrawal lasts longer than opiates. I'm getting excited because I might not even need an SSRI, as I am feeling much better from the Serotonin withdrawal symptoms.
1325193 tn?1450127436 I had to take off for the 8 month 20 pill a day tramadol addiction. God has really delivered me from that. I still have a little anxiety, and some pain. Pain on both sides of my lower back that is now starting to radiate down my left leg into my foot. I have a couple of good friends on here telling me it still might be from withdrawal. I am a Christian and want to put all my trust in God. I say I do, but I can't figure out why I haven't.
Avatar f tn / i am wondering if any1 knows of a medication that will work instantly for my generalized/ social anxiety + for my pain ( maybe even a muscle relaxer?) i left the hospital with a scrpit of percocet for my pain & healing which helped, but i dont wanna go askin my doc for those. i think the epidural really messed with my back :/ if anyone can help me please let me kno i go to see my doc tomrrow, thankyou!!!
968560 tn?1307451498 I have recently gotten a script for tramadol and FOR ME it works wonders. Vicodin never touched the neck pain and soma just makes me sleep, hence no pain. I think a script of 40 has lasted me about 30 or so days and it says I can take 4 a day. Not a narcotic but it really helps.
1019316 tn?1262615059 Have you stopped taking tramadol? I am no expert thats for sure but I have taking tramadol for many years along with norcos. How much tramadol have you been taking? You may have been supressing your WD symptoms. Kratom acts on the same mu-opiod receptors as tramadol. So you may experience some WD when you stop the tramadol.
323551 tn?1255174750 for maybe 60~90 days (or close enough) and can testify that their anxiety levels eventually went back down to their pre-tramadol usage days? I've had anxiety issues prior to taking Tramadol but wanting to know if I'll at least get back to where I was before tramadol, those anxious ridden days that now all of a sudden don't look that bad compared to whats been going on recently. I'm down to less than 2 tabs a day now for about 3weeks(?
Avatar f tn Found your site yesterday and instead of being on the verge of giving up, I am now on my way to my doctor to ask for Tramadol (and to use every fiber of my being to try not to hit him for not telling me such things existed when he knew I was suffering terrible withdrawl from the tapering off oxycontin and oxy ir's) My question is... since I don't trust my doctor anymore... what dose should I ask for? I was on 100mg oxy twice a day and 20mg oxy ir, 4 times a day...
Avatar m tn I had a prescription for tramadol for over 3 years, and it has now run out. I still have access to hydrocodone and tramadol, without a prescription. I'm basically fed up with my whole life and routine revolving around medication. Not to mention, the financial drain due to the addiction. A normal day consist of 4 to 5 50 mg tramadols, and 3 hydrocodone 10s. I have began weening back, and now either take 3 hydro 10s, or 6 50mg trams. Rotating depending on availability.
Avatar m tn Overdose symptoms of a tramadol overdose may include drowsiness, shallow breathing, slow heartbeat, extreme weakness, cold or clammy skin, feeling light-headed, fainting, or coma. Tramadol may be habit-forming and should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. Tramadol should never be given to another person, especially someone who has a history of drug abuse or addiction. Keep the medication in a secure place where others cannot get to it.
Avatar m tn I wanted to get off Tramadol so I quit taking it 4 days ago and am having horrible anxiety, insomnia and having a hard time forcing fluids. Although I'm a nurse, I want someone to take care of me now! I was taking two 50mg Tramadol three times a day for a year and a half. I am seeing my PCP this Tuesday and was wondering what I can ask her about helping me these horrible unrelenting anxiety attacks and what is there that I can take for this daily chr pain that is not addictive.

Avatar f tn Of course I still have lots of problems with my neck but the doctors kept throwing more and more meds at the problem, instead of fixing anything I am now a full blown addict of tramadol. I just looked at my last prescription which was for 180 pills of tramadol, I got them filled almost 10 days ago and I took my last one two days ago, thats how bad I am and I hate myself for letting my life get to this point.
Avatar f tn The doctor gave me Tramadol for my endometriosis pain. I have a full week of almost intolerable pain every monthl. Tramadol is one of the few drugs I can tolerate with regards to nausea (Vicodin et al seem to just make me puke immediately), and it does actually manage to relieve my pain fully or at least 80-90% (when I mix it with Aleve). The problem is this. I have to admit that I enjoy the Tramadol. It makes me feel good. Of course it does -- it makes everyone feel good.
5203459 tn?1373367904 I actually probably take it a day on day off. Because I've been on the tramadol, my depression/anxiety symptoms having been as bad. It would be nice if they prescribed Tramadol for depression!!! It would be perfect.
Avatar m tn Does anyone have any experience with Suboxone being used to treat withdrawl symptoms and cravings from tramadol dependence? I've been taking tram on a daily basis for 4 years. In the height of my addiction I was up to 1000+mg/day. I have recently reduced my daily intake to 200mg by gradually weening myself down week by week. I've made an appointment with a Dr. at an Addiction Recovery Service for an evaluation.
1349329 tn?1276985202 Emily was prescribed klonopin for anxiety that only started after being on tramadol for a while. She was on the klonopin for at least a year & had a very hard time when tapering off. You can read back through her journal for her experiences. Benzos are best avoided but IMHO, based on Dr Ashton's recommendations & my experience, the least damage would be done by using the lowest effective dose of valium at night & tapering off that.
Avatar m tn I've been having back pain recently which stems from something that I have had since I was a kid, although it seems to be getting worse as I get older. What will happen is that the pain will start in my back then move down my legs. Sometimes it hurts so bad that I can hardly walk. I've been to the doctors many times, but they can never pinpoint what is causing it. Anyway, the doctor recently prescribed Tramadol for the pain.
