722310 tn?1234762137 I am desperately trying to cut back on the clonidine and zanaflex and I am experiencing terrible w/d symptoms. (heart racing, anxiety, sweating, pain, nausea, etc.) Could I be still having w/d from the tramadol or is it the other meds causing it? Did I just give up one addictive drug for 2 others? I am so tired of this continuous roller-coaster of chronic pain, meds, w/d's, pain... The dr has also put me on Cymbalta, it has been 7 weeks. It doesn't seem to be doing very much.
Avatar n tn Can I take Hydrocodone 10/325, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg, and Tramadol 50mg together safely?
722310 tn?1234762137 Have I just prolonged this massive problem of addiction, by continuing to take those, or will it be easy to get off the clonidine and zanaflex? I am confused and would love to hear from others that have gone through stuff like this. Please Help!! Why in God's name are these meds that are suppose to help us, but in reality they are life stealers.
Avatar f tn Is there any medication that a doctor will give me to get over the withdrawals of Tramadol while I continue to work? I have been on Tramadol for 10 years and it is about time to stop. I want to continue to work and take withdrawal meds but not sure if there is anything a doctor will give me.
Avatar f tn I have both tinnitus and hyperacusis and take both Tramadol and Tizanidine. I was wondering if anyone knew if either of these drugs cause either of these conditions?
Avatar f tn They are a synthetic opiate. They are very addicting , what do you mean "they do nothing for you " they don't get you high or they don't work for your pain?
217229 tn?1192762404 I've been taking tramadol since I had my accident and crushed my ankle last year. It works well for me as long as the pain isn't too bad...it just kinda takes the edge off. Hope it works for you! take care....
Avatar f tn I took tramadol for about a month after a surgery and now I am living with daily pain in both sides of jaw and back of head (base of skull).  Can tramadol cause that and does anyone know if it will go away...I'm miserable.  I can't even have a glass of alcohol socially or the back of my head starts hurting really bad.  I've tried a couple different muscle relaxers (zanaflex, parafon forte) and they didn't help.
Avatar f tn Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried moist heat, TENS unit, Lidoderm patches, Tramadol, Zanaflex, and even took some leftover hydrocodone 7.5 that I had. NOTHING is touching this TERRIBLE Pain! Can anyone offer any advice? I really don't want to go back to the ER because I don't want them thinking that I just want meds, but I am in so much pain that I don't know if I can deal with this for much longer.

373683 tn?1218997212 Ok, so I am waiting for the Dr. to get my Cymbalta approved so I can have it filled and start taking it again.. The dr's office called yesterday and told me to up my ZANAFLEX to 3 pill's at bedtime and see if that helps, and if I'm still waking up in the middle of the night in pain then I need to take 1 more for a total of 4 pill's at night. Today is just not a good day. I woke up and my whole body hurt so badly that I literally could NOT move....
Avatar f tn hi y name(nic)i had two surgeries back to back two years ago.
1168718 tn?1464983535 I will be on 4mg at bedtime, and still my baclofen one in the orning, and one at night with the Zoplicone and the Zanaflex..... so, here's hoping that we can sleep longer that 2 or 3 hours at one time without either shaking myself awake, or we have to go to the bathroom, and that also has increased.
2932946 tn?1344722012 What are everyones experiences taking the muscle relaxer zanaflex?
1532707 tn?1312155924 I take Neurontin, Baclofen and sometimes Zanaflex, and Vicodin I also have Tramadol available. I also do progressive muscle relaxation and stretching exercises. my pain can manifest differently, it can be: a deep feeling of burning and being twisted a feeling of being squeezed like I am in a vice this past week it felt like I went to the gym and worked out for 10 hours and every muscle in my body is sore.
Avatar f tn I didn't realize until very recently (last few days) that I was taking so many pills to help manage my pain. For over three years - Tramadol hcl 50mg tab -- up to 8 a day. For a year -Zanaflex maybe 3 a day For a couple years -Hydrocodone-Ibuporf 7.5 mg normally 4 a day but sometimes more. May 16, 20011 - June 8, 2011 - Cymbalta 60mg Delayed Release caps I went to the hospital in April 2011 and was so sick. I couldn't eat, I was shakey, sweaty, vomiting, ok...

Avatar n tn ), I plan to fight the FDA and whoever else I have to about Tramadol! I have no where to walk where I presently live, but I do have pets that mean more than life itself to me, that helps, and I have a garden and just working in the soil seems to help get my mind off things, maybe that will be some help for someone else out there too. The other thing that I have found a bit helpful when I can physically do it, is Wii.
Avatar n tn I had L2,3 and 4 rhizotomy on both sides. The left side.....no problems. When I went back to get the right side I woke up and my entire right leg was numb. I stayed in the hospital for 8 days because the right leg lust wouldn't work. I had to use a wheel chair for weeks, then crutches and finally graduated to a walking stick. I know have use of my leg but still have numbness from the knee down.
Avatar f tn I am with avisg. I have detoxed many, many times on opiates and tramadol, and if you have been addicted to opiates, it will NOT take even a month to get hooked on tramadol. The withdrawal from both is awful, but tramadol is longer in my opinion. With opiates, in 3 or 4 days you're fine, and it gets better everyday....not the case with tramadol. It takes a lot longer to get your body and mind back to normal, not to mention that it's not a very good pain med.
338416 tn?1420045702 Tell me if you've heard this one before! I have prescriptions for Baclofen, Zanaflex and Flexaril. Since I've recently gone insance and decided to try for pregnancy, I need to get off the Category C drugs. So I stopped taking the Zanaflex (except for the worst spasms) and I'm titrating down on Baclofen. Here's the weird part. When I was taking 6 baclofen a day, I had less pain overall, but I had just as many spasms as I do now.
Avatar f tn I am a 45 yr. old female. I've had immense "mystery Pain" in my back since age 21. !! - Finally it was diagnosed Nov. 2003. Thank God !! NOW, 'we' knew How to treat this Myofascial Pain Disorder. - It was caused by my husband beating me for 3 yrs.- I then in 2005 I had a Horrible Car Wreck, I rolled 8 times into thick woods going 65 mph, knocking down trees. my body was thrown around like a rag doll.
Avatar m tn Thanks for all your input. I hope I have what it takes to quit and not succumb to what I am sure is going to be an unpleasant experience and lie my way to more tramadol. I really do want to quit. I'm just so scared of what's ahead of me the next two, or three days. I have planned to be off work, which will help some in that keeping my what will be obvious withdrawal symptoms to myself and my wife.
