Avatar m tn I have 1 kidney that is in stage 3 and frequent urination our no urination are red flags for me as kidney disease can be silent.. Have this checked and let us know how you are doing.. I hope others come along with experience with Trams that may have run across this and that is all it is. I wish you well with your surgery.. Do not do things too soon after ok and take care.
Avatar m tn I take Lyrica and Tramadol for pain. Lately I have been having difficulty with slow urination and constipation. Does this have anything to do with the former problems or is this something new to be addressed? Should I seek neuological help or a urologist? Thank you for your help.
Avatar m tn When was the last time you used Tramadol?
Avatar f tn Its a opiod and it has the same potential of abuse but low rates of abuse because people prefer hydrocodones and oxycodones. But tramadol is a little weaker opiod and it also works on your seratonin levels so its little different. So treat it as the vicoden if you are looking at tolerence and addiction. I have bad headaches, migraines and neck problems. No tumor but its pain that debilitates me and i am often left feeling lifeless and sorry for myself.
Avatar n tn I had the same problem ....my OBGYN said it was a UTI and gave me some meds but that made me unable to urinate and feel more full.
Avatar m tn Yesterday, I had 2 teeth pulled and my mother in law gave me some tramadol. Without even thinking (and I think I was under the impression that it wasn’t an opioid) I took a 50mg. My question is.. when can I safely take my suboxone dose?
Avatar f tn Absolutely bad. As I understand it, sub if taken with opiates (and Tramadol is a synthetic opiate) will through you into full blown withdrawals.
Avatar m tn Tramadol is not only a painkiller by affecting the u-opioid receptor but it also have the proprieties of inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine which would make it a painkiller with SNRI proprieties. Pristiq is a SNRI antidepressant so both are interacting together. So you have increased risk of serotonin toxicity and increased risk of seizures and other neurological symptoms. Please call her doctor to let him know this is happening.
Avatar m tn Yes. Long term use of pain killers, even tramadol can change the pain receptors and when you stop using it you can experience heightened sensitivity and rebound pain. Of course, if you've been using it for pain related reasons its also possible that the health condition that prompted the doctor to prescribe tramadol hasn't been resolved.
Avatar m tn lesa May 26, 2010 — The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced yesterday that it has added a warning of suicide risk to the labels of tramadol hydrochloride (Ultram) and tramadol hydrochloride/acetaminophen (Ultracet).
Avatar n tn s together and be fine, for that matter you can take methadone and heroin and be fine. Is Tramadol supposded to be like Naloxone?
Avatar f tn A few months before I started HCV tx I started taking Lyrica and Tramadol for the body pains I was having; they are prescribed by my pain management dr. After researching Tramadol last week and seeing its sx I was wondering if it was contributing to the hallucinations I was having with the interferon and ribavirin. I asked the doctor if there was any other pain med I could take after doing the research and scaring myself silly and was told no.
Avatar f tn Last week I did not take tramadol at all and began to feel achy all over and tired. I took the pill. Yesterday, I took no tramadol again and had all the symptoms I see described here--restless all over, unable to sleep, achy, etc. I took a tramadol this morning and the symptoms went away. My question: what is best here? Stop both of them? Stop the Tramadol and continue the percocet for a week(1 pill a night) and then stop the percocet? Stop both together?
Avatar f tn it is twice a day, i take for depression and hope to help on stop smoking and lossing weight and the Tramadol(not prescribed for me) 50mg taking for pain and hope weight loss. I do not even know if it is safe. buuuuuuuut anywaay. funny you are sunny66, I am mary66.......
1810386 tn?1405549577 Amitriptyline and Tramadol is horible interaction leading to Serotonine Syndrome. Had it once, before surgery. any SSRI is evil with Tramal. brrrrrrr.
Avatar f tn Taper is right tramadol has differnet withdrawal symptoms including siezures so be careful. Be honest with your doctor and ask him to give you a taper schedule and he may also be able to give you other meds to help besides suboxone. Get OTC meds for any flu like symptoms and take vitamins and drink a lot of water. You can do it without the subs you have only been using them for a short time.
Avatar m tn need to do own research) i stopped all med for 48 hrs and tramadol and prozac permantenly and immediatly began feeling better...i called my dr when i figured out what was wrong and her nurse said she (the doc) doesn't think i had that...i left her and every time i mention this story to docs i encounter they are blown away no-one helped me...

478844 tn?1208328295 I took tramadol once for about 4 days and I went threw bad withdrawls worse then when I was taking Vicodin just be careful.
Avatar f tn I read in one of the threads that you can't mix tramadol and antidepressants. Is this true? What are the risks? My Dr. has me on both - I am trying to very slowly cut back on the Tram. I pill every week. I know it is painfully slow - but it is all I am able to do right now. I am working on alternative pain management methods, and getting the courage up to dump the pills once and for all.
Avatar f tn Turns out Aleve is not broken down and passed thru the liver and tramadol is. I am back on Tramadol and have the hyperness and dry mouth but hopefully it will get the weight off. By the way, I have fibromyalgia.
728965 tn?1266373645 Hi, I just did a quick google on 'Tramadol and Veginal Bleeding' and found some relation between the two, and it might interact with other meds you're taking. Http://www.drug.com usually has good info. and drug side effects and interations. . Since I'm in a very mush jello mode today, I didn't spend much time reading every article I found. Try using your search engine and see what you can find. I've never had side effects like that........
Avatar f tn Can I start the Lyrica while still on the patches and Tramadol and How can I reduce the Tramadol while continuing Fentayl with the Lyrica with minimalTramadol withdrawal symptoms.
Avatar f tn 30pm and it is now 9:00pm and I have not taken any of my next suboxone dose yet. I quickly realized I may have screwed up.
Avatar m tn Since I started to wean off my Xanax addiction I quit taking the Vicodin and Tramadol, except for 1 day had bad migraine and none Imitrex pills, my insurance only covers 9 pills and paying them is more than 200 dollars. The point is that I do not feel side effects or W/D effects from quitting the Vicodin and Tramadol. It this possible? I didn't even knew Tramadol was an opiate until I joined this community.
1578386 tn?1296256257 I can tell you exactly what the problem is as this happened to me. They had me on cymbalta (anti-depressant) and then put me on tramadol (the worst drug on the planet in my opinion) and the tramadol isn't only a synthetic opiate, it's also an anti-depressant - so there's a serious risk of raising the serotonin levels in your brain that can cause seizures (it's called serotonin syndrome).
