Avatar f tn I know that now is when the withdrawls symptoms will get worse. Does anyone know if the large quantities of tramadol damage kidneys and/or liver? Also, any advice for the next phase of withdrawl. Can tramadol withdrawls cause seizures?
Avatar f tn I currently have been abusing tram for 3 yr.s now within the past few days while running low on a fill i freaked outthinking i may have to withdrawl and made an appt. with an md on the subxone site with there md. locator md. was willing to treat me so my appt. is in a few days so i guess i'll see who this program will work out. check out subxone. com and find and md. if serious it took quite a few calls to all the md's on the list but finally got an appt.
Avatar m tn Tramadol is Tramadol...Whether listed as Tramadol HCL or Tramadol. It's a chemical vastly like Effexor but without opiate properties. Think of it as a stripped down version of codeine with antidepressant properties. Ultram is nothing more than the Brand name for Tramadol and Ultram ER is a timed release of Tramadol. Ultracet is merely Tramdol and Tylenol in the same pill.
Avatar m tn yeah..been bipolar for last 20 years at least, so it's just my life..just truckin along best i can taking my meds...my biggest complaint is my muscle pain...i work out, stretch, get massage, take nsaids, etc...but the pain is dibilitating! i have been through physical therapy, tried difft meds, the only thing that eases the pain is heat and tramadol :( but i don't want to be addicted. I had a relationship with a heroin addict when i was 20 about 15 years ago...
Avatar f tn Congrats! I am on day 12 from tramadol and I'm starting to feel a lot better. The brain fog is slowly lifting and I know when I'm at 2 months I'll feel great! It helps me so much to see others that have been through the same crap who are on the other side!
Avatar f tn Thanks... It sounds crazy but I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. This site might just save my life. :) Thanks for listening and responding. I've been on Tramadol (Ralivia), Tramadol (Tramacet), Cyclobenapine (flexeril) and Cymbalta for months. That's not the whole list, trust me my GP just kept writing new prescriptions for every new symptom. There is an arthritis med and a stomach med as well.
Avatar f tn I was on 400 Mg Tramadol for 8 months and had to stop cold due to Seritonin issues (Seritonin syndrome) Withdrawal was hell. I have been off it for 10 Weeks and my Doctor just put me on amytriptaline for pain. Can anyone tell me if, once you have seritonine problems can you take other seritonine affecting meds? I am starting to have the same side effects, nightmares, confusion, anxiety, flushing and I'm on a low dose.
Avatar f tn I don't have nightmares, but I do have very weird dreams. And it's the same time every night! I wake up every morning about 4:30 and when I go back to sleep, that's when I have them.
796687 tn?1237333243 After awhile Doctor suggested Tramadol...it was not as addictive as hydrocodone, etc. Continued on with both Lorozapam and hydrocodine untill about 6 months ago when the doctor suggested Cymbalta for the depression and took me off Tramadol. Don't remember a problem getting over the Tramadol that time because I think Cymbalta took up the slack. Used Cymbalta 30mg them 60mg for about 5 months and asked the Doctor to get me of of it.
689267 tn?1235241749 I am now alittle over 3 weeks off tramadol, and still battling with w/d somewhat. My question, however, is about ativan. I took xanax about 15 years ago for anxiety until it turned on me and my panic attacks actually became more frequent. My dr. then switched me to ativan. I have taken it ever since, and now that I am off tram, I am thinking about going off that as well. I am scared to because I am afraid of the panic getting worse.
Avatar f tn I've been having nightmares for days and waking up crying and sweating. I can't sleep at night, so I end up going to bed around 3am and waking up around noon. I'm on vacations now so it doesn't actually affect my daily schedule, but I feel I don't seize the day waking up so late. Any natural alternatives to sleeping pills? I'm not very fond of sleeping drugs...
Avatar m tn I was given tramadol in 2008 after my DUI, because I was having nightmares, anxiety, etc. I took one, and flushed them, they made me feel like crap. I was slurring, and dizzy, and just off the hook. I called my dr. and asked her what the h3ll she gave me. I would dump them. I never got addicted to them, because I only took the one, but it scare the crap out of me.
Avatar f tn If you eat food with sugar right before bed they may trigger nightmares. Try to drink hot tea and light a candle and relax before bed. Find some relaxation music to listen too while you drink hot tea with honey.
Avatar f tn I have NO W/D from the norco if I take the Tramadol, but the Tramadol keeps me awake and my mind races at night when I take it. So for many doctors when Tramadol was first being used in the US it WAS being advertised by J&J to be non-addictive.. but not because J&J was being untruthful, but because the original pharmaceutical company Grünenthal GmbH out of Germany published untruthful facts about it. Seems like SO many "BAD" drugs came from Germany..
6530778 tn?1456883801 Codeine gives me anxiety and nightmares.
Avatar m tn When was the last time you used Tramadol?
Avatar f tn I am 22 weeks pregnant and I have been having horrible nightmares. These nightmares feel so real, that sometimes I wake up and have to convince myself that its not true. And it has come to the point where I am feeling hatred towards my husband over past experiences between us. Things we have already worked through. Is this normal and how do I deal with it. I don't want to lose my husband over stupid dreams.
Avatar f tn i've been having dreams and nightmares for a week solid. Can't get into my doctor for another 12 says. They are going from adandoment, which will never happen. To creepy, to things that make little sense. Waking me up, I don't feel rested. I'm scared to sleep, and I don't know what to do. Other then try and escape reality, or close off from everyone. I'm going crazy, and honestly I don't know what to do anymore.
219241 tn?1413537765 aside from that, just had TT, RAI treatment, am sleeping 18 hours a day and having horrible nightmares. whoooopppeeeee......and to think everyone I tell I have thyroid cancer always says, if you have to have cancer that's the best one to have...............oh yeah. anyway, commiserations on your situation; i am hoping you will have sweet dreams soon.
Avatar f tn Its a opiod and it has the same potential of abuse but low rates of abuse because people prefer hydrocodones and oxycodones. But tramadol is a little weaker opiod and it also works on your seratonin levels so its little different. So treat it as the vicoden if you are looking at tolerence and addiction. I have bad headaches, migraines and neck problems. No tumor but its pain that debilitates me and i am often left feeling lifeless and sorry for myself.
Avatar f tn Try not to eat or drink anything (other than water) an hour before you go to sleep it should help with the nightmares and with the other part of not being able to sleep my body pillow has become my best friend I can put it under parts that ache
513504 tn?1214171994 i find them very disturbing as they are always in color and and involve family members who are living and dead. i dont think ive had one night where i didnt dream atleast 4 nightmares in a row. can these nightmares be because of my bi polar ? or am i just cracking up? ive tried talking to shrinks in past. and its not for me ive always felt worse when i leave than when i got there. is my past and troubling childhood and life showing itself in my dreams?
Avatar f tn I use to have nightmares as well and for some reason they were more intense than regular nightmares i had but then I stopped having them and now i have weird stupid dreams and im also having problems sleeping as well im 39 weeks and i cant sleep for nothing!
Avatar m tn Yesterday, I had 2 teeth pulled and my mother in law gave me some tramadol. Without even thinking (and I think I was under the impression that it wasn’t an opioid) I took a 50mg. My question is.. when can I safely take my suboxone dose?
Avatar f tn Absolutely bad. As I understand it, sub if taken with opiates (and Tramadol is a synthetic opiate) will through you into full blown withdrawals.
