1394098 tn?1385960134 I havent felt very good ever since I started tx. But in the last few months, I have been having such terrible body aches and some extreme fatigue. I started taking Welbutrin so Im not so tired. But the body aches make me feel like someone decided to hammer my arms and legs on so I wouldnt lose them or something. I called the Drs office and was told by the nurse that I should have seen the Dr. about 6 months after I last saw him in Dec. So I'm going to see him but I dont know why.
Avatar f tn I am on blood thinner, 2 blood pressure meds and Tramadol. Went back to my primary Doc and he did blood tests and found nothing that would cause this. Waiting to see a neurologist but can't get in till October. I have had a bad pain in my right bisept for about 2 months now. Can't raise my arm straight out to the side and up. Left arm starting to hurt some now. What could be and could it be serious.
Avatar m tn need to do own research) i stopped all med for 48 hrs and tramadol and prozac permantenly and immediatly began feeling better...i called my dr when i figured out what was wrong and her nurse said she (the doc) doesn't think i had that...i left her and every time i mention this story to docs i encounter they are blown away no-one helped me...
Avatar n tn Is there any general timeframe for how long the fatigue lasts from opiate and tramadol withdrawal
Avatar f tn Has anyone gotten pregnant and had to come off Tramadol quickly. My husband and I want to start making a family and I am not proud to say that I am a frequent (300 mg/day) tramadol user. My doctor put me on it for chronic pain and fatigue and it worked wonders. I'm so worried not only about withdrawal symptoms but about the chronic pain and fatigue coming back. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm so ashamed and so nervous! Help!
Avatar f tn Thanks so much for all your advice. I started working on it on the 9th - I'm plan to taper with the Lortab first over 8 weeks and see how it goes. I set up a pretty slow decrease plan, only 1/2 pill per week, and so far I've stuck to it fine. But after reading that last comment I'm wondering if I set it up too slow? I mean, I don't want awful symptoms, but I don't want to take forever if its not necessary.
Avatar m tn i was pretty tired and my doctor diagnosed me with anemia and I started iron a few weeks back....i thought my fatigue was withdrawal related so i almost didnt mention it to her at my appointment....but I did mention my rls and she said we should test fro anemia and turns out I was anemic....so I mention this because it is possible your fatigue has other contributing factors you might want to consider...
Avatar n tn i have fibromialgia and arthritis and bone spurs in my neck and shingles should i be taking all this and will the tierdness ever go away?
Avatar f tn It will take time to be completely free of those as well. I went from taking 8 a day to 4 a day and it caused mood swings and fatigue for a little while. Medicine is a scary thing. Keep your head up, you'll be off of everything soon enough.
Avatar f tn Chronic stomach upset, fatigue and a very loud ringing in my ears are the most annoying symptoms. Are these tramadol side effects?
Avatar m tn It did help some but still had fatigue and depression. I am imagining that it is not entirely helping due to the way that Tramadol affects serotonin and noripinephrine. Does anyone know of a way to use another drug to successfully quit tramadol?
Avatar f tn I tried everything for my chronic fatigue. Ultimately no one understand it and you have to alter your lifestyle. You need to rest daily and eat well. Get massages. Walk. Do liver and colon cleanses. I have heard this works wonders. Diet changes are powerful. Good luck. Hang in there. Also, yes, I've heard of people who have fatigue after treatment.
Avatar n tn I am trying to do a slow taper off of tramadol and I have heard about something called the thomas recipe but I wanted to get some feedback. Has anyone ever used this method and if so did it help significantly? I am only taking one half of a 50 mg tramadol three times per day and I am pretty used to it but the absolute HELL I feel even if I stop taking this little amount is unbearable. I can't take time off of work to get off of the tramadol so I need to be able to function.
1420847 tn?1289326502 I forgot to tell you I am in in pain an problem addicted to codeine and tramadol. and having got epilepsy(seizures) topamax, phenytoin, gabapentin, and various other tablets that I loose count I am fed up, depressed and need someone that understands, my husbands great and cuddles when I am down. Avatar f tn Hey Everyone, For all of those that know me, I am having major troubles once again! For those of you who don't, I was a big time tramadol addict that finally got clean. I was up to 15-20 pills a day and I DID it, for a long time, I was good. I had the occasional craving, but was doing very well. Last summer I started having major knee pain (no specific injury happened) and I had a ton of tests done. It turned out that I tore my meniscus and I have really bad arthritis (all of a sudden).
Avatar n tn I was once given tramadol and cocodamol together in hospital, and take them together regularly now. However, the tramadol must NOT be the type which is combined with paracetamol, as then you would be overdosingon paracetamol. What you don't say is what strengths you are talking about. I take cocodamol 30mg two tablets, which is extremely strong. There are cocodamol mixtures with less codeine phosphate in them. Personally I take the strong version and add in one 50mg Tramadol.
Avatar f tn I sleep every night now between 8 to 10 hours (never in my life have I had sleep like that and yes, the sleep on tram was completely fake - I never felt well rested in the morning and that went on for years! omg!) and I still take the melatonin periodically. It is amazing - maybe it would help you too? Keep smiling!
680303 tn?1239984840 I was given tramadol about 1 1/2 yrs ago for chronic pain. I read that is can madke you pain worse. I see myself going up and down with the pain. I am taking about 200mg or less a day. I think I want off. My pain got so bad, they put me on ms contin (lowest dose) and it helped but then my husband got sick and I had to do more and was hurting more and was given a little more, that I don't always take in full anount. I am sick of these pills and after reading about the tramadol, I want off.
Avatar m tn Rhodiola rosea, a natural supplement, is helping me with the energy, fatigue, and mood. It may not help everyone, but it sure has helped me. Beat of luck. This is an old thread, you may want to start your own new ones to get more responses. - Zoey, off Tramadol since Jan.
Avatar f tn Hello, I am 30 days off of tramadol ( 2pills 3x daily sometimes more) they were prescribed to me for fibromyalgia and I was on them for 2 years. I was on hydrocodone for about a year before the tramadol and I wanted to get off the narcotics so I was put on tramadol since its "non narcotic"...!!! Yeah right! I quit taking the hydrocodone cold turkey and the withdrawal from those was way easier than the withdrawal from tramadol! Anyways...
Avatar n tn I am trying to find out what the withdrawl symptoms are and feel like from tramadol. I am prescribed 4 pills a day along with an antibiotic for a toothache and I took the tramadol faithfully for 1 week the pain subsided so I only took it if I felt pain in my tooth. I didn't need it for 2 days and after the 2nd day I was really sore, body wise and was very irritable. Were these signs of withdrawl of tramadol?
Avatar f tn Your symptoms could also be due to fibromyalgia, which is characterized by muscle pain and cramps along with fatigue. The other possibilities are chronic fatigue syndrome which usually occurs after a viral infection and there are generalized aches and pains. Lyme disease also needs to be excluded. Please discuss these possibilities with your doctor and keep us posted!

Avatar f tn 6 months ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and put on Tramadol ER 200 and 50mg prn for breakthrough. I was also put on Lyrica, which I stopped taking, Concerta, which works very well at a low dose, and Cymbalta 60mg that I take everyday. I stopped taking the Tramadol 2 days ago and feel horrible. I have a script waiting at the pharmacy. Do I go pick it up and taper off or keep going since I'm already this far in? Help me please.
