Common Questions and Answers about Tramadol and bleeding

Hi, I just did a quick google on 'Tramadol and Veginal Bleeding' and found some relation between the two, and it might interact with other meds you're taking. Http://www.drug.com usually has good info. and drug side effects and interations. . Since I'm in a very mush jello mode today, I didn't spend much time reading every article I found. Try using your search engine and see what you can find. I've never had side effects like that........
It helps with the pain without having the foggy-headed side effects from narcotics. I can actually function and get things done with the tramadol. Don't get me wrong, I still have days where I reach for the vicodin, but not every day like I used to. As for cyst pain, tramadol doesn't touch it, I do have to take vicodin for that.
Also, I would like to know, does Ultram/Tramadol cause stomache cramps/acid often? Lately at night, and in the mornings my stonachae has been very noisy, and Im not sure if it's due to Ultram/Tramadol or not.
OnOxys - I answered your PM, hope it helps Hobo91 - hi mate, Nurofen Plus are an over the counter thing that have codeine 12.8mg and ibuprofen 200mg. The amount of codeine is small and so as addcition progresses, and one has to take more and more to get the codeine buzz, one also ends up taking heaps of ibuprofen, which does shocking things to stomach, kidneys etc.
This is my 6th day with no tramadol and I feel myself getting better. PLEASE take my advise. If I can help anyone out there please contact me and I will do eveything I can to help.

I told my other family DR that I needed more tramadol and was going to order online and he said okay, and he would give me a script but I insurance would not cover it because it was too soon. He offered Lortab or other Narcotics instead because my insurance would cover it. That may sound strange for the DR to do that but its true... But seriously after the lortab/vicoprofen SHORT 1 month addiction. It was easy to get off, after the withdrawals.. I never had cravings or anything.
Neurotransmitters are chemical compounds that act as chemical messengers between the nerve cells. Tramadol enhances the effect of the neurotransmitters serotonin and noradrenaline, and this action also helps relieve pain.
Still craving the stuff though, but less and less it seems. Since I still have pain, now and then, I have been prescribed Tramadol, rather than the narcotics. What are the narcotic effects, if any, of Tramadol? I've only taken 1 or 2 a day, but with a hysterectomy coming soon I'm concerned for my needs for pain meds again. If I have to take more Tramadol, how will that effect me? Thanks for your help.
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 2 years ago and has the best and most positive outlook, and she thinks I should be able to do the same, no matter what's causing my "symptoms." There is nothing positive in my life right now except the people I love, and I can't even attend to them because of this drug. I've tried taking Vicodin ES for 10 days to help ease the symptoms of withdrawal, but as soon as it's out of my system, the symptoms return.
and she was like why the hell is that doctor still providing him with Tramadol if his bleeding ulcer has healed, so she suggested weening myself off and after I finally researched the drug and read all the blogs. I went cold turkey Thursday, January 14, 2010 and have not taken a single pills since. Thursday was complete HELL! I stayed in the bathroom most of the day and sleep...FORGET IT! Friday was a little better, still in the bathroom but not as much. Sleep got a little better with O.T.
I have been reading other posts on tramadol addiction and haven't come across any where the person is or has been addicted to a large amount of pills. I currently take 30 tramadol a day and want to quit but seem unable to taper. I can't just quit because I will seize if I don't die first. Has anyone out there tackled this large amount successfully? How did you do it? Did you have help?
What is the most important information I should know about tramadol? Physical Dependence and Abuse ULTRAM may induce psychic and physical dependence of the morphine-type (μ-opioid) (see DRUG ABUSE AND DEPENDENCE). ULTRAM should not be used in opioid-dependent patients. ULTRAM has been shown to reinitiate physical dependence in some patients that have been previously dependent on other opioids.
because I have used tramadol in between scrips..(but they never stood a chance)...and then I would get hydros and quit the tramadol... I am on Day 28 from 18-20 hydros a day....and I took 3 tramadol on day 4 and day 5...which did not seem to help with anythings...so I quit taking the tramadol...and had to side effects. I was just wondering, you said that your took tramadol in place of opiates...hydro's, oxy, percs...and went through meth treatment 4 years ago....Just be honest...
I was once given tramadol and cocodamol together in hospital, and take them together regularly now. However, the tramadol must NOT be the type which is combined with paracetamol, as then you would be overdosingon paracetamol. What you don't say is what strengths you are talking about. I take cocodamol 30mg two tablets, which is extremely strong. There are cocodamol mixtures with less codeine phosphate in them. Personally I take the strong version and add in one 50mg Tramadol.
And aspirin in pregnancy is a big no, it puts mom at a huge risk for bleeding. As far as tramadol being a narcotic I believe its a synthetic form of codine. Either way for the safety of the baby and her she needs to inform her dr.
Thanks for the reply the back pain went away after 2 weeks but since then i have had really bad pain going down my leg from my hip to my ankle and its really pain full and hard to walk without moaning in pain ,sometimes it sounds like iam in labour, ive been to the hospital and they said it was muscle spasm and prescribed me dazepam ,iburofen and paracetamol, these lasted 2 hours then the pain came back so i went to the doctors he said it was siatica and proscribed me slow releasing tramadol , a
I no longer take anything but Tylenol and Tramadol for my chronic back and neck pain management. I am currently tapering off of Tramadol slowly and started using amino's and supplements to cope with the taper withdrawal effects. I've gone from 200 mgs a day for over 10 years down to about 60 mgs currently since September. My question is: Would taking natural supplements that also help with inflammation cause a flare up of proctitis with blood and mucus?
Anyway, after years of addiction and the whole tramadol thing.I've decided to turn over a new leaf and try diet and excercise for relife. Oh,by the way I had only been taking ultram for about a year and a half.I knew within the first month i was taking them that they were addicting, contrary to what my dr. says.
Hi I'm currently 35 weeks and I've taken tramadol once to twice a week when needed Dr wont prescribe but my dad gives it to me for pain...I've heard baby can come out addicted to it how true is that...does anyone take this too...
s, CT Scans, and been on TONS of different meds to see what would work - and then 4 years ago, I was prescribed Tramadol...and it WORKED! I would take 800mg of Motrin first, then the Tramadol if the headache began to develop into a migraine. Before I knew it, I was exceeding the maximum dosage and taking more than 8-10 tabs per day!!! Last Wednesday, i stopped taking it.
Have seen several people have seizures when TAKING tramadol. AND, every tramadol related seizure I saw did not seem related to how high a dose the person was taking; RATHER was in instances where someone markedly INCREASED their dose. I think the confusion is in that seizures are common when withdrawing from sedatives (alcohol, barbiturates, benzodiazapines etc). Rare in opiate withdrawal.
