Avatar f tn I am not sure what you are describing comes from low estrogen levels. The wrinkles sound more like dehydration from the night sweats. Talk to your doctor and get some blood drawn and see what is going on with your hormone levels, don't let him or her fob you off with "it's normal." Be sure you are taking all your vitamins, as many as when you were pregnant or more, including iron especially. And get over to your doc! Good luck.
Avatar n tn This is because topical use may induce severe local erythema and peeling at the site of application. Check with your doctor for proper management with the wrinkles that is best for you. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn Hello, Stucco keratosis is characterized by benign growths on the skin especially the extremities. The modes of treatment are topical 5% Imiquimod, scraping the lesion, cryotherapy and electrodessication. Red light collagen therapy is used for healing of wounds like diabetic skin ulcers, serious burns, and severe oral sores and proposed to be helpful in erasing wrinkles but I am unaware of its use in stucco keratosis.

Avatar n tn Hi I am 48 and experiencing all the aforementioned - hair loss (for which I've been using Rogaine), crepy skin, wrinkles, dry skin, sagging everything, varicose and bulging veins, and basically the loss of my looks. And I am so tired. I take a host of supplements, and use a red laser about 3 times a week. I have had no exercise in the last few months though and alot of stress. I weigh 115 at 5'3. Any advice other than cry and add exercise back in as well as quit my profession lol?
Avatar m tn You should most definitely be on estrogen ( I use Divigel ) for sure. That should help some. I also take Biotin supplement ( it's good for hair, nails and skin ) The Divigel stopped my hot flashes, but I still have a big problem with being hot. Like there's an oven running inside of me constantly. Ugh. Oh yea, something else you can do that good for your skin is........
212161 tn?1599427282 carried on with it myself. They are not as strong but do keep skin fresh looking. I dont think it does much for wrinkles, just gives a fresh look. I have had botox, it is almost painless, iv had it many times & it is definately worth it.

Avatar n tn I am 40 and I bought vichy retinol cream to treat minor facial wrinkles. My face is burning, I have red spots around my eyes, I have rash all over my face and chin. My skin is flaking and feels very dry. I am noticing some wrinkels in the places they never existed. What shall I do?
Avatar f tn also topical estrogen or even just a barrier cream like aquaphor is probably a better choice for cuts in the skin than a topical steroid. steroids just further thin the skin and aren't really made for our sensitive genital skin. you don't want to add to your problems. you need a prescription for the topical estrogen from your provider but first be seen to make sure that you don't have a vaginal yeast infection causing the skin tears.
Avatar f tn Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that you could try Sprionolactone for the acne. Estrogen might also help. For more severe acne, Accutane can be very effective. There are lots and lots of topical products on the market too. Good luck!
Avatar n tn Jock itch is miserable, and for many guys recurrent and incurable. There is one topical solution that I have found to work: these Safetec Sting Relief wipes, which I only happened to try because there were some extra in the first aid kits at work. I got jock itch from the using the sauna, pool, and wet rooms at gym after shaving my scrotum. It was incredibly painful and would not go away. I tried everything. Topical fungal creams did not work.
Avatar f tn Also found out that your estrogens and progesterone effect every single organ inluding thyroid. My doctor has me on low dose of estrogen and progesterone and my wrinkles are disappearing so I'm hopeful :) I also have a history of high cholesterol even before menopause. You may want the doctor to check your thyroid as well. Moisturizers, etc. weren't doing me ANY good either, just kept getting worse.
Avatar m tn Hello, Dermaroller is used for Stretch marks, wrinkles, scars and uneven, pitted skin. It is not used for bumps on the chest which could be due to sebaceous cysts. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar f tn hormone replacement therapy isn't always enough. topical estrogen cream is often needed too. also even if you don't have discharge, get tested for vaginitis. bv esp is often asymptomatic and can trigger herpes to be more active.
Avatar f tn Currently on antibiotics but he also wants me to use estrogen cream by rubbing on labia twice a week for 4 months. Will this be beneficial and safe since I have had cancer?
