I am 30 weeks preg and was suffering alot of vomiting after i ate wit a sharp pain under my chest above my bump.. Im waiting on a ultrasound to see if i have gallstones? Did anyone else ever have this or any advice..im kinda scared!
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced gallstones when pregnant. Im 37 weeks and have been experiencing severe pain under my right rib for the last 3 weeks. My OB sent me for an abdominal ultrasound yesterday and has just phoned to say that they found several small stones.
I was recently diagnosed with gallstones. I have 3 small ones. I had my first and only attack a few weeks ago. I have been referred to a surgeon who wants to remove my gall bladder. Are there any alternatives, I.e. homes remedies, supplements, medication, etc. do I have to have surgery now? I hear so many side effects and possible higher risks to colon cancer due the surgery. Is that true? What about changing my diet before removing the gallbladder?
Has anyone else been told they have gallstones during pregnancy? If so what are some remedies to coop with the pain!?
Has anyone ever experienced gallstones during a pregnancy? I get verrrrry bad upper stomach pain and back pain every once ina while. But it's not like cramps, it feels very worse.
Finally, my episodes had gotten worse, I took a trip to the hospital,got an ultrasound done on my right abdomenal region. I had many gallstones, I had to undergo surgery, had my gallbladder removed, now I am much better.
There are multiple idiots across the internet that somehow think the problem is the gallstones rather than a sick gallbladder and give you the idea that you can rid your body of the stones and everything will be OK. Don't believe it. First, the stones are not the problem, they are the result of the problem. The trouble is having a gallbladder that doesn't contract well and bile stagnates there, allowing the stones to form.
3 years is a too long time for a person to remain undiagnosed from gallstones. Gallstones might have developed a few months back. This is only speculation. It is best to discuss your concerns with her treating doctor and get the doubts clarified. I do hope it helps.

I have been getting discomfort in the middle of my stomach which it radiates under my both wing bones. It last around 3 to 4 hrs and leaves spontaneously without feeling sick. I had an ultrasound and my doctors aid everything is fine, there were small gallstones and don't worry. Also there was some fat around the liver. He says don't worry, but I am worries. It doesn't always happen, eery so often like around 6 weeks. Wha is causing it.
Hi I am a 40 year old female,generally healthy...but the passed few weeks I have a feeling of discomfort under my ribs on the right hand side of my body...I have had a blood test which revealed a high level of something to do with my liver...I hardly ever drink alcohol...I'm not in pain...could I have gallstones? I have recently been diagnosed with gallstones, not sure of how many, it was not clear on the ultrasound due to gas in my intestines.
However, I am having attacks every single week, very severe, I am nausiated, vomiting and very sore. I have been given injections to relieve the pain, my pain lasts for up to 6 hours at a time, the first injections I got from my Gp was Scopex 1ml 20mg, now I have Tramal 2ml 100mg as the first injections did not relieve my pain.
Is it possible to have gallstones after your gallbladder has been removed? Im having the same sympyons I did when my gall bladder was removed.
hi I have just been told by ma doc that i have a large mass of gallstones. I am in so much pain and not sleeping well. I would like to know if gallstones can change your moods as i am so aggitated and snappy at the moment.
