Avatar f tn My son is 12 years old and since last May or just before, has been complaining of a fuzzy head, memory loss and lack of concentration. He is a very bright boy, quite serious and grown up but has become a shadow of his former self, he has fell over several times as he says he feels off balance and he does not want to speak much as he says it makes his head worse.
Avatar m tn Tooth mobility may be caused by acute periodotal infection. Once the infection subsides, mobility will be reduced.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am in my early twenties and recently had my upper left premolar extracted and replaced with an implant. I know that bone loss can occur when a tooth is extracted, and the implant is supposed to prevent such bone loss from occurring, but will there be any bone loss at all? I am really concerned because I am so young and don't want my facial appearance to change. Thank you so much.
947190 tn?1286991297 s in the front bottom for the love of Pete!) and replace with implant. All very well and fine if you can bear to part with beloved tooth and dish out $4000. Luckily I found an "alternative" dentist website that offers options to radical and invasive endodontic procedures. My conditions have improved since using some of these methods: http://www.drpaulhkeyes.com/index.html Hope this helps. I feel your pain.
Avatar f tn The odor is being caused by the decay in the tooth and the only way to get rid of it is to have the tooth pulled. I would call some dentists and tell them your story...some will charge you much less than normal and some will allow you to pay in like 3 payments. I hope you find one that will help you and I wish you all the best.
Avatar n tn If there's an abscess, root canal treatment should resolve the problem. If not, a re-treatment of the root canal is possible or an apicoectomy in which they remove the tip of the infected root along with the infection in that area. Referral to a specialist for the procedure may be necessary.
Avatar f tn Following extraction of an upper molar and wisdom tooth, I have suffered from miserable coated tongue, a sensation of dryness, and loss some of sensation in my upper lip. Could this be the result of any nerve damage from the extractions?
Avatar f tn I just need to vent really I don't know what more to do. I had a root canal two months ago. My tooth hurt badly when I would floss then it turned into a raging tooth ache. We did all the pressure tests and temperature etc. There was no clear cut answer on which tooth was to blame. So I finally told him to do tooth A. I was 99% sure that was the tooth. Upon doing the root canal the tissue inside the tooth was indeed inflamed so I was happy to hear we got the righ tone.
Avatar f tn I'm 15 and I know it's common to lose weight through puberty , and yeah I did grow to almost 6ft , but I have been getting comments on how " lanky " I am and I get kind of offended when people call me skinny , and think maybe I'm too slim ? I really don't want to lose any more weight , does anyone have any suggestions without eating loads :/ ?
Avatar f tn I have periodontitis and consequently have bone loss throughout my mouth. I recently had #15 extracted. Today I went for my one week postoperative checkup. The site had not healed; I am to return in one week. My concern: I don't understand why my dentist didn't do any restorative procedures when he extracted the tooth. He gave me an explaination, but I didn't understand.
Avatar f tn )) I have a 5 year old little girl and a 6 month old baby boy...that passed at 3 months....
Avatar n tn t know if all of these symtoms are related or not. I also have one tooth on top left and one tooth on lower left that ache quite frequently. I went to an ENT who said he didn't see anyting and couldn't help me! That was a waste of time and money! My dentist has told me there isn't anything wrong with my teeth. I take one diclofenac ER a day. This is an anti-inflamatory.
Avatar f tn He is big for his age but too young for puberty. He has been emotional and defiant and also increasingly aggressive towards his sibling, which I'm thinking could be something to do with rising testosterone levels. Has anyone experienced or heard anything about the possibility of early puberty being more prevalent in people with ASDs?
Avatar m tn Gingivitis (when your gums bleed when you brush) can lead to periodontal disease and a slippery slope to tooth loss. All of that can be avoided by getting to your dentist for a thorough cleaning and evaluation. GOOD LUCK and make that appt right away.
