Common Questions and Answers about Tooth infection home remedy

infection

Dear Fellow Dental Sufferer, Its not a question of whether a tooth infection will infect other teeth, something I personally have not heard of. Its a question of what are you doing to cut the infection. contrary to what people with medical terminology might say, you can do a great deal to undo dental infection. 1 Stop eating sweets of any kind. 2 Make some oregano tea. Bring pint of water to a boil. Turn off and place 1 tbsp of dried oregano leaves in the pot.
I'm glad you got your fungal infection diagnosed and cured so quickly. Great doctor! The Pepsodent I was able to purchase with formaldehyde was found at a store that caters to Hispanics ... products are from all over the world: Mexico, Vietnam. Those products tend to carry (or not) ingredients not found in US-made/FDA-approved products.
com and I think this is where he got them from before putting his own home made label on them. I have tried every remedy under the sun and I have spent thousands of dollars at some of the best dermatologists that I could find. This formula works for my adult cystic acne and it probably won't work for any other kind, but if you suffer from this type of acne give it a try. The only other thing that ever worked for me was Accutane while I was on it but once I stopped my acne slowly returned.
The swelling may not resolve for awhile because you still have an active source of infection due to a bad tooth I assume. Once the tooth it out, the swelling should probably be gone in a week or so.
The antibiotic will help the infection resolve, but chances are you have an abcess deep into the root of the decayed tooth. You are going to need to have the tooth removed to prevent the infection from returning.
Home remedy is probably not helpful relieving pain. Seeing a dentiat is advised.
I am 62 years old, and have been healthy. Last April I had an infected wisdom tooth removed. Weeks before and after I had terrible sinus issues (NEVER had a sinus infection before) Dentist discovered a tiny fistula, a hole to my sinus. Told me not to blow my nose for 3 weeks. When I went back, he said it was closed (and in fact, foul tasting drainage had stopped) but x ray showed my sinus was still infected, my sinus was still clogged. I was on assorted antibiotics for 6 months.
I have a book of home remedies, it says to try eating spicy food, especially food with red pepper, it is a natural pain killer. I'll look to see what else to try. Good luck.
Several years ago I had an infection that caused the left side of my face to swell up. I thought it was a tooth but the dentist said no, it was sinus infection, and that because the antibiotics have to basically "go through bone" (that's how he put it) it can take several rounds to clear up an infection.
Don't be afraid to try home remedies that work. Remember-if it's safe enough to eat, it can't be as bad as putting chemicals into your body. Food for thought!
I tilted my head sideways, put a capful of hydrogen peroxide in my infected, "stuffed-up" ear for a minute at a time, then tilted my head to the other side to let it drain. I did this twice a day for about four or five days before the fluid sac popped and drained.
Cut the dairy/sugar from my diet (to no avail) Neti pot, and a combination of Afrin + Neti Pot solution Gently steaming my sinuses Blowing my nose with my head upside down Lots of anti-fungal supplements (Papaya, Acidophilus, etc) I'm still here. I'm still hurting.
I use hot compresses to tryto soften them and have used honey to try to bring it to a head, I was just wondering if anyone else had any home remedies, and also if anyone has heard of any other treatment aside from anti biotics. I will be grabbing some fish oil today, might as well give it a shot.
I was wondering if their are any home remedies that will help heal the infection. Prior my infection, I had visited a dentist who wanted to take the tooth out. The gum was slightly swollen then, but he said there was no infection.
The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.
hey guys, past two days i have been getting alot of pain on my top third tooth, there is a infection present on top of the tooth. Yesterday, pain got worse, and cheek started swelling, its causing a really bad headache. Today, i went to the dentist, she did incision and drainage on the infected protion of the gum, and gave me antibiotics for the infection to stop. Its been 4 hours since than. Just so you guys know, i have a crown placed on the tooth.
I've just been diagnosed with staph, and though the infection was really bad a year ago, I'm not suffering much now -- the sores have simply persisted on my skin. After reading all of the above, I'm glad I resisted my doctor's suggestion to go on antibiotics for a month; I'm trying several home remedies now (vitamin C + antibacterial soap + daily shower + diluted alcohol on skin + probiotics) while I wait for the test results to come in.
are you absolutely certain that is it a yeast infection? have you had one before and had a dr. confirm? what are your symptoms? i once had an infection and thought that it was a yeast infection. I bought the cream and made it worse. i went to the dr. and there was no yeast present. i have heard that the 1 day treatment is not as effective as the 3-7 day. i usually go with the 3 day but being as thrifty as i am, the 7 day is less expensive!
Clarithromycin, MAY be used to help fight infections in the mouth but again you do not know whatever this pain is caused by. As for home remedies...umm some people swear by applying raw garlic to their affected tooth.
I've put plenty of food, biscuits and water down as i daren't even go in my own home for fear of him attacking again and i don't know how to stop him plus he tries to trap us in a room with no escape! At eHow website, home remedies recommended include clove oil, garlic, powdered aspirinl Another website recommends OTC Red Cross carbolic acid topical treatment. The xray showed no canal in the root probably because of WBC and crud from the infection. Monday the dentist ordered Amoxicillin which seems to help and then surprise the pain is back tonight. Thursday night I didn't have to take any hydrocodone to sleep. Tonight after dinner, my tooth ache is back.

I am not sure who I would see to get it diagnosed, or use some type of home remedy to heal this. My cheekr feels swollen, and the area hurts to the touch of pressure. Please help ASAP.
If its too severe, it may need to be removed to relieve the pain. There's no real home remedy to fix it at this stage. It'll probably worsen over time and may potentially abscess. In some cases, the pain may stop because the nerve will die inside the tooth. But that indicates that the infection has spread deep into the tooth and it can continue to spread into the jaw bone, rest of the head, down the neck, etc.
Home remedy probably can not solve your problem. You do need to have a dental visit.
I had never had acne in my life until a few weeks ago, I think it was related to a serious tooth infection which I had removed (three teeth and inflamed gums), I think the acne may have been from the infected teeth. Dose anyone know? What is a good home remedy that works and should I be squeezing them or will that leave scarring (they are red bumps with tiny whit dots)?
I am having a lot of pain with this, and the hydrocodone and ibupropen are not controlling it. I've tried several of the home remedies (tea bags, garlic, etc) and they do no seem to help either. I see a white bulge behind the tooth that might be the beginning of the pus pocket. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.
Thanks
old remedy my grandmother told me years ago. i can across a home remedy that said to soak a tea bag in warm water, wring it out and put the tea bag on the abcess. when you are in extreme pain nothing you just about wont try...that is safe anyway. and about a half hour later after applying the tea bag to the abcess i started getting results. i later did another fresh tea bag last night. and this morning was even better. and i applied the tea bag several times today.
Ever since I have had this taste in my mouth and that tooth is still sensitive as well as that sinus but no longer hurts. Is there any home remedy for this??
