Common Questions and Answers about Too much protein bad hair

protein

Avatar m tn m eating per day. What I did notice, and since have changed, is that I was eating too much protein. My BG levels had crept up to 150 and I had started eating these low carb high protein bars as snacks. Once I stopped eating those my BG levels came down to the 130's. I have since reduce protein amounts and I'm seeing fasting numbers in the 120 and under range. Any one else experience higher BG levels with too much protein?

8691340 tn?1415127741 I highly recommend step 2 aphogee deep protein treatment..... it brought my hair back to life... it's super strong so it's only recommended to be used once a month.. if it's really bad... 2 times a month is good too.. always follow instructions and after that use the balancing moisturizer so it can level your ph levels and it can soften your hair after a applying such a strong protein treatment.... you can find it at any sallys beauty supply or online.... i hope this helps you all...
Avatar n tn s the most important thing when it comes to food production (cows, pigs and chicken mostly) and to pets health too because a bad diet causes tons of problems in cats and dogs that go from vomiting to hair loss, anemia and even death.
Avatar n tn Keep up with a balanced diet and listen to your body - brittle nails, droopy hair may mean you need more protein and oils. Try to add some eggs, yogurt, nuts, etc to what you're already eating. It's hard to know if you're really physically healthy because it can take a while for your body to recover. If you have access to a school nurse or dr, perhaps you should meet with them to see if they can give you any pointers.

1415174 tn?1453243103 There is so much literature out there that shows how bad it is to eat a high fat diet and too much meat. Yet a lot of people are on the Paleo diet including some friends. It is very acidic. Well, that is my opinion. Of course genetics plays a role too.

Avatar n tn Keratosis pilaris occurs as excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin, accumulates within the hair follicles forming hard plugs (process known as hyperkeratinization). Bearing only cosmetic consequence, the condition most often appears as a proliferation of tiny hard bumps that are seldom sore or itchy. Many KP bumps contain an ingrown hair that has coiled. This is a result of the keratinized skin "capping off" the hair follicle, preventing the hair from exiting.
Avatar f tn I just had this at 36 weeks and I was worried too so I asked my doctor and he said it was perfectly normal ! I did too much research and stressed myself out way too much over it !
793908 tn?1294705109 If you mean chunks of hair missing from the ears, then that too is indicative of an infestation, causing hair loss and inflammation due to scratching. There is also the possibility the ear problem was caused by diet, but a flea infestation is my first thought. If you are using Bakers Complete DRY food, then please be aware dry food in particular sometimes causes allergies. Bakers Complete is also one of the worst dog foods there is, getting an alarming 0.1 out of 5 on AllAboutDogFood UK site.

Avatar f tn My Cytomel was slowly increased over time to 5 mcg per day. I take 1/2 pill in the morning and 1/2 at 3pm. I've been on the whole 5 mcg now for several weeks and I feel great but I'm sweating ALL THE TIME. Night sweats like crazy. I know I"m 43 but is this a side effect of too much? Everything is else great. Feel great. No more hair loss. No more muscle aches. I'm living in a perfect post TT world here and now my life is one continuous hot flash!
