Common Questions and Answers about Tongue twisters nature

tongue

Avatar m tn Today I am 19, and I have trouble speaking 100% and words/sentences end up being tongue twisters for me. It makes me unconfident when I want to ask a question knowing I probably wouldn't be able to say it right. It's like when I speak my tongue kind of trips itself, or better say that it gets "stiff". The sentences that I really have problems with saying usually include alliteration in them, or that.
1415711 tn?1286281354 My wife thinks I am out of my mind at this point. I am constantly checking the strength of my tongue and practicing tongue twisters to make sure I dont have any weakness or atrophy. I have no problems eating or drinking. But despite it all I still cannot shake this tense clumsy feeling in my tongue thats stemming from under my chin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn Wowza! Real tongue twisters! I have a Carson and a Dawson and often call them Darson in a fluster! If you like the rhythm of those names with the "y" spelling, than Dylan is real cute! You could choose Dawson and spell it, Dasyn. I believe this is a Native American spelling, but it does follow your theme!
Avatar m tn Nature of exposure. Saliva doesn't transmit STD's, tongue doesn't not transmit STD's and touching of the penis anywhere on the body doesn't transmit STD's.
Avatar f tn I've read up that by toughening up your nipples you can stand in the sun for about 5min every day so that the uv rays can penetrate your skin, and not through a window. I'll be 36weeks on Friday and will start doing that everyday before baba gets here. Don't use any chemicals as this won't help, try not to moisturise the nipples too much as it will soften it up and make sure to give your nipples enough ventilation.
Avatar f tn It has NT1 on one side and no score marks. I bought several months supply at the end of last year. I tried under the tongue once but it just became a paste and took forever to dissolve. I'll try again at 3pm today. It would certainly make life easier. Is it correct that I'll probably need less if I take it sublingually?
11358238 tn?1430409963 Hi, I am RN and I specialize in cosmetic services. I am a LHR provider and it is very true that you can not laser while pregnant as there have never been any studies done on pregnant women and the effects of lasering while pregnant. However, once your bundle of joy is her you can start treatments back regardless of your breastfeeding status as it is not a contraindication.
Avatar f tn I just happened to be in this area when I decided to ask this question.....I have noticed lately, that when I am eating or drinking something -- the tip of my tongue has a burning sensation to it. No, the food or drink is not hot.
Avatar n tn I have these weird, raised, and various sized bumps on my tongue towards the back and on both sides of my tongue, on the lower half. My tongue feels swollen on both lower sides of my tongue towards the bottom... It is somewhat painful... Just very irritating. Please, someone tell me what is wrong!! I am a very paranoid person in nature and the slightest oddity of my body stresses me out. All I can say for sure is that these bumps are not normal and werent there in the past.
Avatar f tn Added to this for several years I have had a geographic tongue, with red circles that move around to different parts of the tongue throughout the day. Even though this is called 'benign' migratory glossitis and I have it pretty much all the time, it seems to always worsen when I am more unwell. It is hard to believe that all these 'oral' symptoms are as benign as inferred when I have so many other health issues happening! I have never been a smoker by the way.
Avatar m tn I have the same problem on NT BUT I feel good so I am going by symptoms not numbers and my numbers to show my T4 is good with the high T3. I always have a suppressed tsh.
Avatar m tn Hi, I experienced 2 months ago a low grade fever of 99ºF for a week, and I noticed that my tongue had become white (No trush), I also have a loss of appetite (I do not feel hungry but when I eat I eat normal quantities) the last two symptoms are still here. Please tell me what can it be? which tests should I do.
Avatar n tn Tip of tongue hurts, now spreading to the sides. Has been going on for 4 months. Taking high blood pressure pills. Feel "hot", but no temperature Pain urinating. Post-menopausal Doctor says viral infection, so no anitbiotics, but don't know what's wrong. Help!
Avatar f tn 1), achy, chills, loss of appetite, runny nose, swollen tonsils, white spots of the tonsils, and grey-ish tongue (tried brushing my tongue for awhile and it doesn't change colors). I get strep often and I have antibiotics on hand but after I looked at my tonsils in the mirror with a flashlight it looks nothing like the strep I've had before.
Avatar n tn I something on my tongue that seems to come and go. About 3 months ago i first noticed small red dots on the tip and sides of my tongue. Over a time period of about 3 days they slowly expanded so that the spots grew and now look like a circle with a red border and a slightly white or pink colored middle. With the first time, i seemed to lose some taste on the tip of my tongue. I went to the doctor who thought it was some sort of fungal infection.
Avatar n tn About 5 weeks ago I noticed either sides of my tongue were discolored and then a tingling, pin-pricks sensation begun. Then this discomfort began spreading. I noticed "pimple" like cluster under my upper lip. And this discomfort kept moving around my mouth (still does). My gums also appeared inflamed and have some white areas under the surface. I went to the doctor, she prescribed me Peridex (?). She didn't want to give me any anti-biotic. There was no sign of fungus either.
Avatar f tn An allergic reaction could quickly affect your ability to breathe, so call 911 or go to an emergency room immediately if you have hives accompanied by hoarseness or wheezing, swelling in your tongue or face, tightness in your throat, fainting, or if you develop hives on your tongue. You may need immediate medical attention if you experience cold sweats, nausea, dizziness, or trouble breathing after a bee sting, an insect bite, eating a meal, or taking medicine. ref:http://www.myonlinewellness.
Avatar n tn She said she would give me either Synthroid/cytomel combo or Nature-Throid and recommeded starting with Nature-Throid. I take 125 mcg synthroid now and she wants to start me on one grain, which she said is low, and check my temp every morning and tweak as needed. She also said Hashitmotos is like a roller coaster and I may need varying doses to take when I vary up and down.
645800 tn?1466860955 As many of you know from my previous posts I am a nature lover. Maybe even to an extreme :) but I thought this would be uplifting of spirits ( if only for me) by writing about some of my nature related adventures. I say adventures because some if not most of you would not appreciate being in the same situations. WARNING this will probably be quite long. I first became a nature lover when I was only 10. My dad was stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA and one weekend in late June he took us up Mt Rainier.
1106767 tn?1315050974 I have read many conflicting stories reguarding this subject and it appears it really doesnt matter its down to lother nature to decide.Sperm thats supposed to be female are stronger and live longer, and male sperm are faster but die quicker. Its all nonsense i think but hey if anyone has any info then so be it.
Avatar f tn So I have these bumps on the back of my tongue. I have never had any sign of this before and have been with the same person for a long time who also has no signs. They are slightly pinker then my tongue. They are slightly raised. I dont know if I should be worried or not and if they get worse or better over time. I also want to know why it would take this long for them to show up?! And could it be something else. If so any ideas of what it could be?
Avatar n tn I have red spots all along the bottom sides of my tongue and the bottom of my lower lip, and under my tongue. I also have what looks like skin colored tiny spots under my tongue. And just this am I found what looks like reddish lumps under the tongue, at the side. I have no pain. But I'm terrifed this is cancer. Could cancer develope so fast? All these changes have been with the last 10 days?
Avatar n tn t aware of it until morning) , both times laterally on the right-hand side (the side I sleep on) and more to the back of the tongue (I suppose I bit the tongue with my molars). This has happened only on these two occasions. I have never had any heart problems. During the above mentioned examinations in Vienna I underwent ECG tests (including 24 hrs recording) plus ultrasound examination of the heart and periphery blood vessels (neck and feet). All findings were normal.
Avatar n tn I've been on NP Thyroid and Nature-Throid for about five months. About the same time I began taking NP Thyroid, I developed what looked like acne though it wasn't red at all--my face just had what looked like small bumps all over the surface. I've never had a real problem with my skin. I switched from NP Thyroid to Nature-Throid about a month ago, and the bumps have become red, itchy, and stinging, and flare up with no apparent cause. It feels like my face has a rash.
