Does any one else have sores on their tongue, well there not big sores but little bumps. I burns and stings to eat most foods. I can't find anything on it. I have been pouring hydrogen perxoide over my tongue the last couple of nights, it doesn' seem to do much good.
I thought that was strange and then within the last couple of days more flesh colored bumps appeared under my tongue. (I'm not sure how to describe the area right.. Not ON the tongue but in the area under it behind the teeth and gums). Only one small area feels sore and the others don't. There were like one or two that appeared a little white. I have no idea what these bumps could be or what I should do. I have never had anything like these before and it scares me a little.
I woke up this morning, with a couple of small sores under my tongue. It appeared overnight and I'm extremely worried. No pain, just a tingling sensation. Can you pls help??
recently i got 2 kanker sores in my mouth and soon afterwards i got a sore under my tongue. I thought it was a kanker sore but now im not so sure. Under my tongue i have 2 vien looking things that are... buldged out.. (they dont look like viens.. they looks like buldged lines in my tongue but its all i can think of that they are..) one goes to the right and one to the left.. well...there is a red bump/swelling on the left one.. it sort of swells up n ends in a kind of point..
Submandibular glands open in side of tongue and sublingual glands open underneath the tongue. Swelling of these glands leads to interference of production and drainage of saliva and pain and irritation. It may be due to some obstruction like stone or tumor, inflammation and infection. In my opinion an examination from an ENT specialist along with investigations like dental x-rays and CT scan are required.Pls get it done. Hope it helps.
yesterday it felt like i had something stuck under my tongue so i looked at it and saw a small growth and just figured it was a blister and left it alone. well, today it was still bothering me and, figuring it was a blister, i decided to pop it (not my brightest idea apparently). so, it's not a blister. i poked it several times with a needle and nothing came out. it's more like a fatty deposit or something. it's a clearish white color and a round, bump-like shape.
i get white swirl like or circle like things under and on the sides of my tongue. they hurt if you rub them like brushing or eat something firm. they come and go. they are embarrassing (this word may be spelled wrong). and they show up in the front sides and tip of my tongue as though they want the first taste of food. they are not contagious. i have been tested for all std and aids and my record is and has been clean. plus i am married and have been for ten years. so any answers.
i then also saw a link to a picture of genital herpes under the tongue, i have that too, does anyone know how to get rid of genital warts under the tongue?
My mother is having a similar issue. I too think your "bumps" might be "Tori." I found a great website that was extremely informative. It is www.doctorspiller.com look under "sores, lumps & bumps." You might not have found info under Tori because the med name is: Torus Mandibularis. Hope this helps...until I found this website, I was a bit freaked out when my mother asked me to look into her mouth!
Today I noticed that underneath my tongue, at the bottom of the thing that attaches your tongue to the bottom of your mouth, is a little sore, and it may have a bump on it. I'm not sure what it is, is it just a sore, or could it be an std? My girlfriend says she doesnt have anything like that, and I believe her. But i'm to afraid to tell my mom( atleast until I know for sure that it's an std) because she would be soo upset knowing that I even made out with a girl.
Hello Doctor, 2 days back I noticed a tingling sensation under my tongue when I felt it on rolling my tongue over the area. Precisely I believe near the openings of the ducts of the submandibular and sublingual salivary glands. A little towards the right. Then today it turned into a white patch/blister with some redness around it. I am concerned that it is herpes. About 2 weeks I had a sexual encounter.
I'm a 55yr old straight male who has been treated for an STD that presented itself with white snail like lesion under my tongue one week after contact with a female. I was treated with one dose of penniciln and one week treatment of levaquin 750mg. I was also tested for HIV and hep c and all test were negative. It has been two weeks since I have been treated, but the lesions clear up and then return. Do I have something I need to be concerned with at this point?  Pls respond.
Do some web research on fimbriated fold growths under tongue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fimbriated_fold_of_tongue I found I had them. In my paranoia about oral HPV I did some research. Also I found that my tongue got swollen from using "white strips" toothpaste. It was a web research I did again in panic over oral HPV. Once I stopped the white strips, the swelling went down. Oddly if I drink three or more glasses of wine in a night my tongue gets tingly.
Sorry under my tongue in the very back side
i have burning inside my mouth and cancor sores underneath my tongue. even chewing gum burns my mouth and i can't use toothpaste. i use peroxide to brush my teeth because i have sores that come and go on the right side of my mouth to the gums and underneath and along side my tongue on the right side. i had a dentist tell me this was more than likely a vitamin deficiency of some sort but after all this time i tend to think it is possibly an acid surplus.
I had this a while back and the fatigue, white tongue, and canker sores fit the bill. Also started for me after unprotected intercourse. I would be a little surprised if it spread during a single session of sex though, usually it's repeated exposure that passes it. Any digestive problems?
Lately I have been getting a Canker Sore on the back bottom of my tongue every about month for the last 2-3 months. Right at the same place. It last about 3-4 days then goes away. I have been under A LOT of stress. I lost my job a few months ago and having home issues. I also suffer from very bad OCD and Bipolar. So my stress is HIGH HIGH HIGH. I also have high glucose. I read online that HIV can cause canker sores so I got tested and it was negative.
My tonsiliths stopped reoccurring a short time after I started this process. About 5 months ago, I started experiencing small eroded sores on the sides of my tongue where my tongue touches my teeth, near the back of my mouth. These patches have persisted to this day. In the beginning, it was typically just 1 small sore at a time.
Now my fevers gone and I figured it wasn't my wisdom tooth. My gums are swollen any tongue is extremely white and has soreful bumps on it and canker sores under it and I have what looks like a canker sore on my lip but it's not painful at all.

Alcohol can trigger canker sores if these are that. It also could be another viral infection causing mouth sores too. Yes it could be oral herpes but until you are seen monday it'll be too late to get an accurate culture to find that out. Avoid acidic foods, sour foods and alcohol for the rest of the weekend and see if that helps.
My 76 year old mother was diagnosed with AML on September 13th and there are no treatment options for her. She is now under the care of hospice. She has horrible mouth sores from the cancer. We have been given Magic Mouthwash, but it is really not helping. Parts of her gums and inner lips are turning black from the infection. The hospice nurse says her mouth is rotting. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do for this? It is very painful and swollen.
THey aren't open sores, and I don't even know they're there until I feel them with my tongue. Does anyone think this means anything. Also I have slight swelling and like a line of irritated skin under the head of my penis. I'm circumsized, but there has always been like this meaty piece of flab where the shaft connects to the head. Now its like some mild swelling and like a burn or something around that area.
