I dont think your tongue ring makes a difference just your belly ring but I cpuld be wrong. I dont have my tongue pierced..
When I found out I was pregnant I took all of my piercings out except my tongue ring . I absolutely love my tongue ring and don't want to take it out unless I have too . I just recently put in a plastic bar and balls in so there is no metal in my mouth . Do you think the doctor will let me go through labor with the plastic in ?
I suppose it varies from hospital to hospital. Ask your doctor what their policy is next time you see him or her. I've only removed mine before surgery.
This may be tmi, sorry but, i have my nipples and tongue pierced. Among others, but those are the ones im wprried about. Did/do any of you ladies have either done? And did you have to take them out, if so around how many weeks did you remove them?
Not really sure what possessed me in the beginning lol. But they were only 2 of my 22! Probably too much info... sorry! Over the years I really ended up loving them. They are just as pretty as earrings. Everyone has to love something about themselves right?! I'll be sad to see them go! I think I'll end up taking them out soon unfortunately.
Has anyones body rejected their piercings my nose hurts so bad and i dont wanna take my nose ring out. How are you dealing with it?
Yes I have two belly pregnancy rings an I love em.. but I took mine out the other day... I put them in take em out off and on..
she said about the belly piercing that taking it out so much and poke the baby but i rarely take it out and another friend said its bad with a tongue ring because it could take the metal with food that goes down but it's not like my tongue rings peals lol
I have nipple piercings and I really don't want to take them out until the baby gets here . Do anyone think it's safe to keep them in up until that point ?
I'm debating whether I should removed my piercings during feedings or take them out for good. I'm dead set on breast feeding but don't know how to go about it. Have your lady experienced this? Or have any advice?
I am 18 weeks and took my rings out when I was like 6 weeks.. now I am leaking milk out of the piercings hole and the milk hole. I dont think it really makes more milk, mine just drips 3 ways now. Hahahaa.
Belly button piercings... advice... did you leave it in and use a pregnancy ring our take it out? I'm conflicted...
There plastic Bendy and longer than normal belly rings so you have room to stretch and grow you can google or Ebay them and find a bunch

t have the body piercings anymore and most of my ear piercings have closed up. Your tongue really is NOT bad at all! It hurts briefly and then you just chew on ice for a long time and gargle saline. DH doesn't like tongue rings (he doesn't care about much else) but he would not allow me to do that again! They heal FAST.
I just did the math and realized I'm only 12 dpo and yet the calculators say AF is due tomorrow! So hopefully it was just that I tested early. LOL!
So I removed my nipple rings well over 7 months ago, probably last spring and since then whenever my nipples get sore ill squeeze where the hole was for the piercing and thick white substance comes out. I had looked into it and most said its normal because it takes so long for that specific piercing to heal, but today I had did it and it wasnt thick and solid it was watery and I had to squeeze it a lot to remove it all.
