Tongue rings hot or not

Common Questions and Answers about Tongue rings hot or not

tongue

I have NEVER been able to eat HOT things like Peppers or Chilies or hot salsa. The heat is just way too intense for my mouth and tongue. Even toothpase tends to burn my mouth. Strawberries and raspberries sometime will make my tongue BREAK OUT with little red patches that are so incredably PAINFULL!! They dont stay there for very long, maybe 20 minutes or so but.....What the hell is that all about??? I also have GERD. Is there a connection?
An allergic reaction could quickly affect your ability to breathe, so call 911 or go to an emergency room immediately if you have hives accompanied by hoarseness or wheezing, swelling in your tongue or face, tightness in your throat, fainting, or if you develop hives on your tongue. If you have a life-threatening allergy to a food, medication, or insect sting, wear a medical identification bracelet that describes your allergy.

I'll be 46 at the end of this month & just moved to a new state so I don't have the luxury of knowing any doctors. In the last 1-2 months I suddenly gained 40 + lbs & look pregnant. That seems to be where the weight all is. A urinalysis proved negative for pregnancy on Monday & with my 3 grown kids I did not gain this much weight &/or so fast. I just look pregnant & feel "full - heavy - tired & short of breath" most of the time.
I scratch and by morning its huge and red, sometimes painful. My left eye is very different. It is not as sensitive. Gets itchy higher, not as much or as often and never swells. After the "itch, scratch and swelling episode" the swelling goes away and I am left with VERY dry skin. I apply lotions at night and after a day or two, I am left with wrinkles!
With both children when they were 9 months the first blackout occurred and my second she was 9 months when another one of my occurrences happened and had not happened during pregnancy or for those 9 months after birth. I get a hot flush hottest in my face then my stomach starts to feel nauseas on some occasions i may feel like urinating. I get a fuzzy / dizzy /tense feeling.
I have never had this rash before. I am fair skinned and 20 years old. I do not have insurance and it's not easy to find a doctor who will take the time to help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Dameon just turned a month old yesterday, and I've noticed some small white rings on his lips, and they will NOT come off with wiping, or washing off with a washcloth, I'm just curious if this could be thrush?? I've looked online and it sounds/looks like it could be, but can thrush start on the lips?? Thanks in advance!
I had snakebites(lip rings) I had my belly ring and I had a monroe lip ring! I took lip rings out after birth but took my belly ring out around 6 month pregnant because the skin was stretching really bad!
I'm going to refresh myself w/ the lymes symptoms so I can help you better. Feel free to add or take away as I am not personally familiar w/ lymes. GENERAL: fatigue, headaches, fevers, muscle aches/pain BRAIN: weakness/paralysis of limbs, loss of relexes, tingling sensations of the extremities, severe headaches, stiff neck, meningitis, cranial nerve involvement (eg.
Picture this, i'm laying in bed, nice a comfy slightly propped up with pillows, chocy in hand, not sleeping or even trying to sleep, i'm simply escaping kids tv to watch a chick flick, ohhh the indulgence of chocy and a chick flick, bliss! The phone rings, i look over to see if the hand set is in easy reach and its not in sight, oh well i'm thinking someone else will get it, then the second ring erupts. Now what happened next was totally twilight zone stuff.
Hey Jag, I will just tell you my symptoms, 1-after 4 days extreme fatigue and feeling hot but no fever(as far as I know). This continues for 12 weeks. 2-White tongue after a week or so.White does not mean a normal white coating.it is something like dense white coating.Even after 2 times brushing, mouth wash its not going.from week 13 also having 2-3 ulcers on the tongue. 3-from week 2-10 itching in the body like something is just on my body.specially on upper back.
Many people swear by a neti pot, so it is apparently effective for some colds and some sinus infections. However, a neti pot flush may or may not reach the upper part of the sinuses. They are now widely available. ***BUT, before you try anything here, you should go to a doctor and have your problem checked out. You may have a problem that looks like a sinus infection, but is something else.
My toothpaste burns and my whole mouth seems has the feeling like I drank very hot soup or coffee. I don't taste my food much at all. This feeling is weird and annoying. I need to change my toothpaste to a very mild type. This is getting worse on week 16. Lori Stay as calm as possible ~ you have very very good chances to show clear at your 6 month point. The test will come back and it will be what it is and no one can change that.
I have these random symptoms (listed below) and it has been really hard lately to do normal day-to-day activities that I would normally do with no problem. It is hard, but not impossible, which leads me to believe that I don't have CFS or post-viral fatigue syndrome. ANYWAYS, here are my symptoms: joint pain (sporadic but symmetric--one day my knees a few days later my wrists, etc.
I don't know if this is bacterial or not. It stinks. I go to the doctor tomorrow. Have you been to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist? You might need to go. Have you been tested for Mono? The fact that it is lasting for 6 weeks could be an indicator of Mono. But don't worry, mine has been going on for 2 months with no sign of going away and the doctors keep saying it's nothing to worry about (and i have been tested for mono, which came back negative). Good luck!
I also got a list of clinics (free clinics) but usually when I try those, they are booked or not taking any new patients or the phone just rings and rings though the website might say to leave a message @ that number. Just not alot of good news but got a little bit of hope :D The nurse said it does look viral but wasn't sure.
mild visual disturbance. I am 53 years old in active menopause, but I have NO hot flashes or night sweats. Is this the trade-off for that? I have no other health problems besides GERD. I am 5'2", 125 pounds, athletic, take vitamins, make all our food from scratch. I have tried: cervical epidurals and trigger point injections; physical therapy to include cervical traction; I have a TENS unit which does give some relief of the neck spasms. Today I am going for a massage.
Bed-No sleep at all ( up and down all night ), legs arms crazy could not rest or stay still, kicking quilt off then on , the standing up sitting, oh my arms and legs were a nightmare ( worst night I have ever experienced ). Saturday am. had about 20 mins broken sleep, feel sick and ache all over, nausea, sweats hot/cold, have tried to sleep again - no success.
Also use both medicines for you and the baby exactly as directed, don't miss any doses or it will not go away. Luckily I felt better after one day on the medicine. I think mine was a cream and then nystatin drops for baby. But I kept using it until it was gone. Yeast so painful, I am sorry! All of my friends who have nursed for awhile got it so it is pretty common, good luck!
I had to do that for a few months when I first started taking my thyroid meds as I am not one of these regular risers! I take 14 tablets a day, so I sometimes miss one or three, but as goolarra says, if you miss the thyroid one, it can lead to not having the full dose. It is the WEEKLY dose in total that is important, if you miss one day, double up the next, but don't make a habit of it.
OK then don't anybody go on vacation or something or we'll come back and not have any anymore - then I'll have to go on a posting tirade about things like music videos and vitamins and latest news stories and post as many new subject of BS a day as I can come up with!! Oh CanCan I certainly hope your lost star comes home soon. You should have given it a chip like you do to little doggies so you can find them if they get pilfered!
several of them because they don't have many adapter rings? Not sure on that one. How many bottle nipples do you think I'll need to start out with and what flows? I'm going to assume Playtex Drop Ins work fine as well as with formula, because I vaguely remember using them with my son when he was little and he only breastfed for about 4 days? I must have been able to mix the formula ok in the preformed liners, or am I delusional?
maybe show you son acceptable activity that involves throwing stuff, like football or baseball - like catch (and yes we play catch in the house with soft rubber balls, it's too hot a lot of days). he may want to play it all the time, like my son, but at least he's not just throwing stuff around or at people. that gives him an activity that he loves, but it's not a bad behavior. find things that suit his personality or interest.
To know the difference is good. It is wise. At the moment I'm beating myself up badly for not being able to move and certainly NOT being able to drive in this state! Come on now; I don't want to hurt anyone because my driving abilities are impaired. Let's act with intelligence shall we? Two nights ago, which was day 20, I was driving home from work and my Mom called me.She knows about the Tramadol and the withdrawal. She also knew there was something VERY wrong with me while I was on it.
