What thumb sucking does is change the shape of your hard palate and facial bones. The braces will counter-act it, but you will be fighting against the change. I suggest you try taking magnesium in the morning and vitamin D3 at night every day. It seems like you are trying to treat discomfort or anxiety, and these supplements may fix it for you. Apparently the best form for anxiety is magnesium glycinate. It isn't easy to find, but I'd check ordering it on line.
I got the pregnancy belly rings and they suck! my belly button is stretching horizontally so the opening can fit like nothing in it.. I stuck that little belly ring in there.. which is about half the size of a normal barbell and it irritated the **** out of the hole because it was like stretching it back open.. it hurt to move.. but everyone grows differently but personally I wouldnt waste my money again..

I just got my braces off today and was horrified to see that my brushing had apparently not been sufficant. I now have little white rings on each of my teeth. Is there a way to get rid of these or am i stuck with them for life? If so which is the most effective? least expensive? fastest working? Thank you for your time.
I have my tongue, nose and belly button. The belly button I took out around 4 months and my nose and tongue I still have in and I won't remove it until delivery. I had my nipples with my second pregnancy and I took them out around 6 months cuz milk was leaking from them...idk why it happened but I never put them back in.
I have tongue atrophy for a year now and my tongue goes to the left.I had the EMG and I have had test but they can't see what they need to because I have braces.I do have a hard time when I talk alot and swallow. I have tendonides in both sholders. Plus a heart beat in my left ear.I don't care what it is how long will it take to know whats's going on.Maybe low motor thing don't know just waiting. And I don't know what I should be looking for? Any help would be great!
t bother me though], a BIG one on each sides of my mouth, and two big ones in the middle [where my tongue is]). Since about last month, the ones in the middle connected together, and are now about 3x the size of what they were last year. My orthodontist and dentist both said it was the biggest they've seen yet. I'm only 17, so chances are they're going to grow for another while. The section where my tongue is, it's almost only bones. (I will try to post a picture later).
3 days ago I realized I had a bump under my tongue, I was worried but I didn't think anything of it. Today It felt more noticeable so when I looked at it, its bigger and it has also turned red. I am not a smoker but I am very concerned of what this could be. I wear braces but I don't see how that could affect underneath my tongue in any way...
I have an ulcer or two in my mouth and on my tongue that I chalked up to heavily drinking and the braces (figure I may have bit my tongue being so drunk). They looked fairly normal compared to any other ulcers I had received in the past and began healing as usual. I noticed some small white bumps or spots (because they aren't really bumpy) on the upper part of my lips and in the corner of my mouth (still on my lips).
I dont think your tongue ring makes a difference just your belly ring but I cpuld be wrong. I dont have my tongue pierced..
Yesterday, I noticed the side of my lip was feeling very sore. It hurt even to open up my mouth. I notice I have a cut on the left side where my top and bottom lip meet. Also, I looked inside of my mouth because I had been feeling bumpy things but I just thought it was from my braces. There are these little white bumps in the inside of my bottom lip. Also, at the top of my top lip there is something that looks like skin is coming off of the inside of my lip.
i have suffered for a long while from an either real or imagined bad taste in my mouth. I chew gum, brush my teeth, use mouthwash, but it's still there! sometimes it's not so bad but when I am worrying about it it's worse. I've been to the dentists because I started to get sore teeth recently and I mentioned the taste in my mouth but she said she couldn't see anything wrong.
I am going to give my two cents on tongue rings, sorry in advance. Having very little to do with pregnancy, I say take it out. I got mine done when I was 18. Prior to that I had great teeth, never had a cavity or anything. I took it out when I was like 24 or 25 and ever since then my teeth have taken a rather rapid turn for the worst. I am now 32 and so far I am missing two teeth, luckily they are back teeth, that I had to have pulled because there was no saving them.
This happened to me! I went to the dentist and they gave me a special toothbrush to use. It's helped! And I found the slower I brush the better. Still get nauseous when I brush my tongue but no more throwing up.
Hi :) ! A few days after getting two dental screenings from separate dentists (on two separate dates) for a pricing on braces, I got a pain on my inner lip wall. I checked today to see that there is a black discolored dot next to where a canker sore is. I currently have 2 canker sores on each side of my mouth and one on my tongue. No biggie to me initially as I've had a long history with sores, but my worries rely on the black dot. I am a young adult female, 5 ft, with brown complexion.
