Avatar f tn A friend of mine here in the valley (since we both live in AZ) put hard wood floors in her sons room with a large rug in the middle because she wanted to cool his room down. Even though she would do tummy time with him all the time her never really learned how to crawl since it hurt his little knees to crawl around on wooden floors and a rug only covers so much room.
Avatar f tn So my mom and her girlfriend got 48,000 off a settlement and were redoing out whole house. And I'm 26 weeks pregnant. And she's sanding the floors. We have wood floors and it smells so bad. Is it bad for me to be breathing this?
Avatar n tn My wife passed away one year ago. Eighteen months before that i refinished my wood floors sanding and staining and top coat of polyurethane. We stayed in the house slept in a spare bedroom. She had breast cancer 5 yrs prior to when she passed away a yr. ago plus she was a diebetic for 41yrs. she was 59 yrs old. I have been having a hard tie and feeling did doing the floor eighteen months prioe to her death did doing the floor could of had anything to do with her lung cancer.
Avatar n tn I have a client has a husband with lung cancer - she wants to refinish her hardwood floors. I have highly recommended that she does not do that because of the circumstances with her husband. Am I wrong to have said that?
796506 tn?1370188305 ) If I do get permission to paint I will be painting the Glidden fuscia pink color and with the wood floors it is going to look awesome! I just need some input on the kinds of furniture (it is kind of a small room so just a crib/changing table and maybe a dresser depending on how I can organize her closet and all of the furniture must match because I am crazy like that!) that would be best to get... I am just so overwhelmed! LOL! Thank you ladies!
Avatar f tn she is still licking she litterially has no hair from her privates to the top of her belly where she can reach with her tongue. She never likes her belly rubbed either. I was wanting to put some oil or some nasty tasting thing on her to keep her from licking / Any ideas!!!!!
Avatar m tn What type of surface is he on when his rear legs slip out from under him? Our dog is old and doesn't do well on our hardwood floors, her rear legs slip, especially when getting up.. We have to put throw rugs on the wood floor on the path she usually takes from one room to another, seems to help.
Avatar f tn i have fake hardwood and fake marble floors.....my feet are flat indeed...i think from the floors and i m always barefoot. well i went out and bought a pair of crocs, real crocs and i can t tell you how much better my feet feel....they are kind of ugly but comfort is more important. it s like walking on rubber tires,,,,the the doc scholls gel inserts make them feel even better. i truly love them...
Avatar m tn Thanks very much, we do keep a clean house and just about every room has wood floors. We are also going to remove the carpet in our bedroom. thanks for all the tips.....
1541329 tn?1314480539 She is generally running around in bare feet and we have mostly hard wood floors, so by the end of the day her feet are filthy. I am concerned that her dirty feet are going to cause vaginal infection by coming in contact with her underwear or pull-up diapers. I've tried putting socks on her, but she ends up taking them off at some point anyway. I would appreciate any advice or info. to convince her father that I'm not just being paranoid.
Avatar f tn Okay, so I've pretty much had anxiety every day since August 2012. I've always worried about typical things like jobs/money/speeches/relationships (things almost everyone worries about), but it seems like since August 2012 I worry about ridiculous things that no one else I know worries about. I have anxiety/panic attacks whenever someone walks hard and it's like I can feel the vibrations their steps make.
Avatar f tn Thanks for the sage and humorous advice as I'm about to shoot the beast. All night long I hear him body slamming the wood floors as he's scratching.
5864651 tn?1396931970 Lol that happened to me last time. We had an all white house and hard wood floors. My husband came in and said it was too white. I would yell at people for not taking their shoes off at the door then lol. This time its coming in spurts every few days.
739070 tn?1338603402 I tend to catch my toes on it and trip. Are hard wood floors slippery? Or do you have area rugs? Tisk, tisk if so. I need help defining the problem too.
Avatar f tn Hardcore sex. Mop the floors like a crazy lady. Run up and down the stairs. Lunges and squats. And castor oil. If not one of these work try em all. I had to do them all...
Avatar f tn Well that's good! Haha yes I am finally starting to get ready for her to be here. I got her room all painted and the wood floors polished. Now I'm installing a pink butterfly ceiling fan, setting up her crib, and picking out curtains =) 50 more days for me! How many days do you have left?!
Avatar f tn I've heard if you scrub your walls and floors it helps to go into labor ? My aunt was scrubbing her walls with her first and her water broke but idk if it was just a coincidence . i have 6 days left and am very uncomfortable . ive tried sex and walking ... Any one hear of the scrubbing walls/floors ? Or have any thing that might actually get contractions going ?
Avatar n tn Before i knewi was pregnant we went to the fair and when i see my cousins i pick them up to hug them and their 9 - 12 (i never see them) and even after i put wood in the wood shed i was causious about it just in case and i just had my first ultrasound and the baby is all good :) congrats :)
8780410 tn?1399944360 I remember I was walking around my house feeding my first and I was in the beginning stages so I was letting them air out afterwards. Well we had hard wood floors and i was leaking where ever I walked and had a trail of milk following me. The dog was following behind licking it up.
Avatar f tn Lately I've been feeling that I need to cover everything with a coat of paint. Ha, I mean like I need to touch everything evenly, mostly flat surfaces. For example I'm typing this on an iPod and every few sentences I'm swiping my finger horizontally across the entire screen. I didn't do this before. I just tapped things and didn't touch wood floors. Now I need to touch everything and I look like an idiot when I go up and down the stairs basically stroking the railing haha.
365714 tn?1292199108 Check out care2.com and use their search engine using the key words "natural cleaning recipes" or "floor cleaners". Annie Bond has some good information about the proper care of various types of floors using natural or close to natural recipes. She, too, has chemical sensitivities. I do, too, but I don't have natural wood floors, so the information I'm talking about didn't stick with me very well.
Avatar f tn Got wood floors lol. Guess I'll need to plan on staying out of the living room after 37 Weeks lol. I'm hoping it's going to go like my son, and I wake up with intense back pain, minus not being able to get my inlaws on the phone.
Avatar f tn So me and my boyfriend are about to redo the floors all through out the house and paint the babies room im almost 23 weeks will it be okay for me to be around the paint?
Avatar f tn I've tried EVERYTHING. My lady resort is castor oil which I just took abt 1.5 hours ago. Just had my first BM. Nothing major or scary as they make it seem.
Avatar f tn You should immediately wash all clothes and bedding in Hot water. Bed bugs are hard to get rid of, we removed all are carpet and put in hard wood floors, also there's a bed bug spray you can get at Lowe's or home depot. You'll have to have someone else spray the house and you'll need to leave for a couple days. Also get a new mattress that's were they like to live.
427555 tn?1267553158 Hm. Well, I have oak. But my house came with it. It's pretty. Many people like oak for it's character as you can really see the wood grain, knots, etc. You can also stain it different colors and it is considered durable. I have it in bathrooms and kitchens as well as living spaces. I do wipe up spills though. I think cost wise, it is economical. Maple is denser and usually lighter in color with less grain. Our gym floor at school is maple.
