Common Questions and Answers about Tongue muscles pronunciation

tongue

Avatar n tn When you wear your lower denture,if you feel lower jaw is more protruded or deviated to one side,it takes more effort to swallow, pronunciation takes more effort, tongue does,nt rest comfortably, these symptoms are all related to denture occlusion. If your dentist can not adjust the denture optimally, seeing a prosthodontist is advised.
Avatar f tn Assuming your problem is lisping sound, which is not supposed to happen after final restoration. Effortless and clear pronunciation should be verified during temporary restoration. Final restoration is supposed to duplicate the temporary crowns. Probably, inner surface of upper anterior crown can be grinded to facilitate pronunciation.I am not very good at verbal english, this is probably the best I can do, hope this helps.
Avatar f tn Maybe both explain to each other what you are looking for in a name whether it be rare or somewhat common. Cute or strong. Longer or shorter... Roll.off the tongue etc. Lol. And give examples of what you're talking about. Then hear from him what he likes etc and try to both come up.with options as you go about your days and then share them with each other.... With this baby we had a boy and a girl name picked out.
Avatar f tn The problem is everyone is going to screw up the pronunciation and spelling. It will get annoying to her as well as you.
486038 tn?1300063367 What's this? My muscles that control my face/jaw/speech are funky! So, when I had my flare two weeks ago I noticed that when I would speak every once in a while my jaw would wobble or jerk while I was speaking. I ALSO realized that it was a lot worse when I was singing. Today, I was in front of our church with the worship band, and when I started to sing my jaw just flipped out! So, have you ever had the chills and your jaw shook really bad and your teeth clattered?
1512722 tn?1313697879 m not sure on the pronunciation of your girl name either, but just basing it looks, I would choose Amelya
432779 tn?1364494875 To be honest I really like the way you spelled the pronunciation of the name. I think Keevah is really nice. Also, I like that you're going with traditional Irish names. For our boy we chose Finnigan!
Avatar f tn re not sure if we have the right spelling for the pronunciation we want.. Uh-Lee-Uh. we want that pronunciation, any spelling suggestions for that would be great! :) Thanks so much!
Avatar f tn I really like Irish names, particularly ones that are not used much any more, even here in Ireland. My friend's little girl is named Fia and it means 'deer' or 'wild thing'. I also love Saoirse (meaning freedom), Gráinne (a derivative of the word of love), Roisín (meaning little rose) Reiltín (means little star) and Aoife. You'll have to look up pronunciation of all of these online, as the Irish language has a completely different set of pronunciation rules to English.
Avatar f tn I have 1 daughter and 2 boys already. The name is cute. ... as for pronunciation people may get confused how to pronounce it because of the I.....I would think you could say it 3 ways ale-onna, ale-anna or alayna. I'm not sure what pronunciation you were going for but I think there all nice. Congrats!
Avatar n tn Regarding your muscle fluttering, which I will assume are twitches, these may be due to benign fasciculation syndrome, which I will abbreviate as BFS, a condition in which there are involuntary twitches of various muscle groups, most commonly the legs but also the face, arms, eyes, and tongue. These may be related to anxiety/stress, caffeine, and often occur after recent strenuous activity or muscle over-use.
1546730 tn?1312854492 I agree with huluhutgirl on the pronunciations - it really depends on your intentions. From experience I encourage you to choose a name that isn't confusing or requires constant correction in spelling or pronunciation. As a recipient of such a name, it's frustrating even after all these years.
Avatar m tn First of all, sorry for my poor English. I have some question about HIV test. I asked my doctor about the method of HIV and aks her is it EIA? She said yes. She spoke the whole name of the method. Pronunciation was like "en-ter-tise" blood test....Is that kind of EIA? One more thing, do all the clinics have license to do HIV tests?
Avatar n tn I feel really good that i am not the only one in the thyroid ride who sees those weird re-occurring symptoms . Do you think white tongue even you brush you tongue and it came back again it could be thrush or yeast infection . Is it common in thyroid to get yeast infection and i also have bad smell in mouth . I main complain in fatigue and muscles/joint pain. Please every one share your story to help me come out from this on going anxiety.
Avatar f tn It sounds like you don't like the name 100% but feel obliged to use it. Maybe in that case, you would be able to use it as the middle name and not the first name? Then the spelling wouldn't matter that much. I am not too big on giving a kid a name that is said in the usual way and trying to make it "clever" or "unique" by changing the spelling.
Avatar f tn Could b unisex.....I just love out the box names....I think with a strong middle name it would a great fit.
5727805 tn?1378193052 Doesnt seem that hard to me. My whole life my name has been pronounced wrong. My parents are the first to correct people. If its someone i will never see again i just let it go. My friends and others in my life need to get it right though.
Avatar f tn Imagine being named Sasset?
Avatar f tn For the past two months I have been experiencing tight jaw muscles and three times have turned my head while smiling and my muscles have spasmed. I have been to the emergency room once due to the left side of my tongue going numb. I was told it was probably a result of my wisdom tooth that was infected and I was having removed two days later. I had the tooth removed a month ago and the only symptom that has gone away is the numb tongue.
Avatar f tn I'm looking for boys names that have nice meaning and pronunciation. Any suggestions?
2025592 tn?1348156019 d go with the more common spelling of Sebastian, just because it will change the pronunciation. I like all of your name choices, but you might also think about what nicknames are likely to come from them...some of which you might not like as much. My mom named my brother Rafael and loved the full Spanish pronunciation, and spent his childhood telling people, "His name is not Ralf!" lol.
1124862 tn?1303850973 specially because of their pronunciation... i mean not that you should make them super close to each other... but... i think they should be closer in pronunciation.. like maybe taylor ann and haley grace.... or something of the kind...
Avatar f tn Tongue or teeth sucking has become a problem to me for the past ten years. I have the feeling it is changing the shape of my face. What can I do?
