red dots on the back of my tongue, tongue seems to have cuts. There was also a red spot under my chin. it doesnt hurt or anytthing , no white fluid, just red and it scabbed yesterday. i also have these lumps on my chin. (i usually get these) but i've noticed 2 lumps. one of them doesnt hurt and one of them hurts when i touch it. i also got a lump on right jaw and a lump on the back of my neck. im wondering if these are zits or lymph nodes?
I have had ongoing issues for 18 months- here is the description-
18 months ago- Lower back pain, fatigue, twitching in left eye, noticed tongue has notches or teeth indents along sides
12 months ago- worse fatigue, twitching spread to whole body, neck and back hurt (muscles right along spine), pain under jaw (tongue muscles), sharp pain and soreness in back. Back is very stiff in morning. Legs also feel stiff.
It's most likely just your muscles being stretched because of the coughing
Regarding your muscle fluttering, which I will assume are twitches, these may be due to benign fasciculation syndrome, which I will abbreviate as BFS, a condition in which there are involuntary twitches of various muscle groups, most commonly the legs but also the face, arms, eyes, and tongue. These may be related to anxiety/stress, caffeine, and often occur after recent strenuous activity or muscle over-use.
Accompanying the loss of sensation includes extreme migranes and joint and muscles aches (like hit by a bus). Most of the pain seems to be on the right side but does hurt all over. He is not a fan of taking pain medicine and has taken limited - when needed only! All doctors look at him and say that's interesting but nobody has determined what the cause is. It is not the cause of an accident that we know of or of a bump on the head or anything like that.
I bit my right side of my tongue which hurt like heck and bled for most of the night. The next day I woke up the right side of my tongue was fine but the left side was still numb along with most of the left side of my face. I guess numb isnt the proper wording I can still feel pain and hot and cold just no tickling sensation no tase on the left side of my tongue. It is a little difficult to move the muscles on the left side of my face and it takes a effort to keep my left eye closed.
I have been having some pain that feels a little like tight/overused muscles, but I'm pretty sure the pain isn't from overexertion. I feel it on the inside of my left thigh and the "pad" below my thumb on my left hand and too a lesser extent in my left arm.
The pain seemed to come out of nowhere. But it also has been at the same time I'm feeling more weakness in my arm and leg. Is this spasticity or something else?
It has been 9 months now and I still have all the symptoms, white tongue, muscles ache, head ache, slight sore throat, but I never got a rash or fever, nor swollen lymph nodes. But, when I first went through my symptoms I did break out in zits all over my arms and noticed sun spots on my arms and hands.
Hi. I have had severe health anxiety for quite a while now. In January, I started having fears about ALS due to twitching (this was my only symptom). Went and got checked by a neuro and had an EMG on all 4 limbs and paraspinal muscles. Everything was perfectly normal. Clinical exam was perfect, reflexes were normal, everything fine.
When I am highly anxious, I have a habit of clenching my jaw as well as pushing my tongue up against the roof of my mouth very hard.
Afterwards while i was walking, i had this sharp stabbing pain in the right top side of my head were the jaw muscles are located. It hurt for a while so i went to a store and bought some juice thinking that i was dehydrated. It soothed it a bit but it still hurt. The muscle is pretty tight and i am hoping that it isnt serious. Now few weeks have passed by and the pain has subsided. A little tight on both sides of head and it still it comes back but not that strong.
Hi. Wow. I can't believe someone else actually expeiences this too. My muscles hurt so badly I can barely move some days. Today was one of them. I feel like I have horrible arthritis, but I don't. My Chiari surgery site usually feels more tender to the touch on the days my muscles hurt the worst and all of my senses are more heightened. The wind blowing on my skin or water running on my skin hurts and I a feel exhausted the minute I get out of bed.
I feel really good that i am not the only one in the thyroid ride who sees those weird re-occurring symptoms . Do you think white tongue even you brush you tongue and it came back again it could be thrush or yeast infection . Is it common in thyroid to get yeast infection and i also have bad smell in mouth .
I main complain in fatigue and muscles/joint pain.
Please every one share your story to help me come out from this on going anxiety.
My head hurts for a while every now and then and then stops for a little bit before restarting to hurt. My muscles are slightly sore. My throat felt sore for a bit at a corner but it's stopped.
I also have an ulcer/canker sore(I don't know the difference) within my mouth. However, I do believe this one came from my bad eating/sleeping habits recently.
Do you think I should be worried about HIV? Is 1 day enough for a slightly burnt tongue to heal?

This occurs randomly, and many times every day. It can happen in one to three areas of my body at a time, in varying combinations—it can occur in my jaws (clenching my teeth), tongue, back, hands, arms, buttocks, legs and feet. I don't realize I'm doing it until it really starts to hurt!

For the past two months I have been experiencing tight jaw muscles and three times have turned my head while smiling and my muscles have spasmed. I have been to the emergency room once due to the left side of my tongue going numb. I was told it was probably a result of my wisdom tooth that was infected and I was having removed two days later. I had the tooth removed a month ago and the only symptom that has gone away is the numb tongue.
I now have pains in the roof of my mouth and i think it is because of my muscles because when ever i make any eye movements or certain jaw movements like biting down and chewing chewy foods i get more pain in the roof of my mouth.So i just wanted to ask if muslces could of been torn or damaged and if it is how would that fix.
Tongue or teeth sucking has become a problem to me for the past ten years. I have the feeling it is changing the shape of my face. What can I do?
The signs progressed to almost all leg muscles, shoulder, arm and hand muscles and had muscles twitches all over my body even my abdominal muscles and back muscles. Saw my internal medicine doctor who found no muscle weakness or Neuro signs. This was about after 2 weeks from initial signs. He ran full blood Chem., CBC, ANA, rheumatoid factor, sed rate, lyme titer, thyroid panel and electrolytes. All came back normal or negative. He put me on Aleve and muscle relaxors which did not help.
