After mountain biking in the countryside I get a sore throat, I can taste metallic or blood in the mouth, but there is no blood there.
I don't get this walking, even walking up a mountain, just cycling.
When on the bike my nose starts running especially now during winter, when sat at home, it feels like mucus going to my lungs making me have chesty cough.
I told the doctor about it two years ago, I told them I feel faint after going up hill.
I have had a white patch on my tongue for at least 6 months. It is in the center of the tongue, and stretches from the middle front to the back. It will not rub off...it is just a white area. I brush it and gargle with Biotene, and occassionally that lessens the appearance, but it always comes back. It is not painful. It seems to get worse after eating certain foods, and sometimes gets a bit brownish in color if I drink coffee.
I have heard that drinking mountain dew is really bad for the baby. Is this true?
I really want some mountain dew.. lol I haven't had any throughout my pregnacy,I've had soda &tea, Do you think it is okay if I get a bottle of mountain dew?
Three weeks after, after some stress i noticed white circles on my tongue tip that was diagnosed as geographic tongue. I did not have a any other symptoms other than some acne on my chest. However, medic said that is from shaving chest and wearing a bullet proof vest. I had an HIV test at 4 weeks. And several oraquick home tests at 5, 7, 9, and 10 weeks. Keep in mind i am deployed in a part of the world where HIV is fairly higher than back home in the US.
she smokes, she drinks mountain dew, she hardly eats ANYTHING else.... would smoking/mtn dew be about the two worst things if shes constantly on an empty stomach? Any other input on what she might have.. whats strange is she does NOT have heartburn or chest pressure.. just the esophagus/mucus/throat symptoms...
it feels huge when prodding with my tongue but on visual examination its quite small. i know people who have had an overganging crown between their teeth which made it difficult to floss bet that is not the case here. the dentist did have to shave off a few mm of my gums with a laser during the crown prep. anyway i am scheduled for a regular exam, cleaning, and xrays in 3 1/2 months and was wondering whether i should go in sooner or am i making a mountain out of a molehill?
I have no experience with this but, somewhere in the recesses of my mind, thought Bernese Mountain dogs can get this (among other cancers) Went to a site and found this, which really does not sound like your dog's symptoms.

I was just sent this site to look at. It is from the Rocky Mountain MS center in Colorado. They have quite a large number of clinical trials.
They have trials on RRMS and SPMS, but also trials on a new drug for neuropathic pain, a trial on how statins help in MS, and a trial on exercise and anti-oxidants and their benefit in slowing down MS.
There must be 25 trials listed. I am going to call them tomorrow about the neuropathic pain study for Craig.
What are the ramifications of continued use of canned air coupled with drinking quarts of Mountain Dew? My closest neighbor is a forty +/- year old man who "is too sick to work" and spends his days huffing (or whatevery you call it) canned air and dring large amounts of Mountain Dew - he then vomits, and repeats the cycle.
Are you still experiencing the pain that you mentioned? Rocky Mountain spotted fever is an infectious disease brought on by a specific type of bacteria carried by ticks. For diagnosis, diagnostic tests such as antibody titer by complement fixation or immunofluorescence, blood tests, urinalysis and even skin biopsy taken from the rash to check for R. rickettsii. Treatment usually cures the infection. Have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation and diagnosis.
About 4 days ago I noticed that i got little cuts on the corners of my lips and that there was a little white thing on it that looked like a pimple but it isnt, and the tip of my tongue reallyyy hurts like crazyy. I have noticed that there are little white bumps on it .. and i usually never have that. And im not sure if this has something to do with that but my tonsils also hurt like a mother. Its so hard to eat and drink and swallow because they feel like theres a knife stabbing them.
So I havent been able to drink soda the 1st month now my baby wants mountain dew. And it makes my tummy feel better but I would like to know if its okay to drink mountain dew if not what would u try or maybe u have been in this same boat please help!!!!

He eats and it comes right back up. The same with any liquids other than Mountain Dew (pop) or we just found out, apple juice. He was taking Ultram, His Dr. thought this was the problem.It was discontinued 2 weeks ago. He is still vomiting. He takes Vicodin (headaches, he rolled a jeep in Sept. of 2007), he also takes Zanaflex for the headaches.When he was younger (8, I think), he was diagnosed with GERD from a nasal ph sensor, and used Propulsid.
My question to you is, since i am a very avid mountain biker, will it be safe for me to go back to riding on rocky dirt trails in the mountains (which i used to do about 3 times a week)? I have to admit, as much effort as i put into good technique and safety, about 2-3 times a year i take a good fall (while riding about 6-12 miles an hour), and sometimes i land on a rocky surface.
The only thingwe have left is mountain dew. Is it okay that i drink a 12 fl oz soda if i take sips of water inbetween?

Or Epcot, its more of a walk around and eat food kinda place anyways. Also if you're in the orlando area walk around downtown disney and go shopping and eat at the rainforest cafe or planet hollywood. I believe Gator Land is in tampa. I've only been there once and that was a long time ago.
I got in the doctors office after drinking it and about 3 minutes after walking in there I went in the bathroom and puked and got so dizzy and HOT! I had to retake it. My doctor told me that I could drink a mountain dew instead and that'll do so I got one and then I went back and retested and passed.lol.
