Avatar n tn For more than 20 years, been getting these warts or lesions that come and go in my mouth. Started after an oral encounter ~ 1995. No sexual intercourse, but kissing that likely transmitted something to me since soon after, developed a flesh colored lump with a white top on the underside of my tongue. This lump wasn't too large, but definitely noticeable. I kept rubbing it against my bottom teeth and it eventually broke open and bleed a bit, but eventually went away.

The night sweats went away after the third week but I began to experience fatigue and my CBC results began to show irregularities (please see chart): http://www.medhelp.org/user_photos/show/265672 After six weeks, my tongue is still tingling and numb and ulcerated.
Avatar m tn One thing to keep.in mind about incidentally found liver lesions is that they are benign the vast majority of the time, if you don't have chronic liver disease with advanced fibrosis or cirrhosis. And it sounds like your doctor is intending to do a followup imaging test as soon as your more stable which is the right thing to do. They will probably use a contrast-enhanced MRI to help add characterise data to the CT data they already have.
Avatar n tn What does this mean, 2 liver lesions that are said to be metastatic colon cancer, contain minimal focal areas increased density likely calcifications?
Avatar n tn What causes liver lesions & calculus of a kidney? I also have very bad fatigue. This discussion is related to Hepatic lesions on liver.
Avatar n tn I too was diagnosed with liver lesions about a year ago- I have two, 2.9 cm and 4.3 cm. I have had a ct scan, 4 ultrasounds, and an MRI. I just went to my GP and he said not to worry, if they were metastatic disease they would have grown or even killed me by now. My liver enzymes are also normal. I have made a decision, for my own peace of mind, to go see a liver specialist at the University of PA in Philadelphia.
Avatar n tn Hi Seesa, Is your mom a drinker? I'm going through the same thing with my dad except he has cirrohsis of the liver from drinking. He had symptoms in '91 (varcise in the esophagus) but had been symptom free for 17 years and suddenly it happened again. The Dr. ordered a ultrasound and found a mass or a "lesion" in his liver. From what I have read on the internet, this could be cancer.
Avatar f tn My husband is a 37yr old male who was told after a CT scan he had liver lesions. Lately, he has had severe back pain, feeling sick to his stomach, his stomach feels hard, he doesnt sleep well and feels like he always has acid reflux. He has an appt tomorrow for another CT and Ultrasound, however, we want to know if based on the symptoms if this is cancerous.
Avatar n tn I got a "healthy" CT scan back with liver lesions noted. How do they know whether or not lesions are OK? Do they look different if they are malignant or cystic? THANKS!
Avatar f tn I had a ct for a possible kidney stone, they found 3 liver lesions. The ER doc said to see primary doc right away, primary doc wants me to see liver specialist ASAP to rule out cancer.Everything seems rush-rush and it is unnerving. Are liver lesions a symptom of liver cancer?
Avatar n tn Then from this I was told I may possibly have colon cancer and I would have to have a colonoscopy, which I did yesterday and I do not have colon cancer but I would need to have another CT scan in 3 months to look at the liver lesions. Why wait 3 months if the lesions are cancer would it not be better to start treatment ASAP? What else would they be looking for? Thanks.
Avatar m tn In a recent contrast CT scan while being hospitalized for apparent duodenitis, cause not certain, numerous small liver lesions were seen. No symptoms, liver blood panel normal. GI sypmtoms were nausea, diarrhea, and mild stomach ache and got dehydrated. Also had an endoscopy. No other GI issues seen or suspected. Gastrologist doesn't even want to see me as follow up unless pain returns. Followed up with infectious disease MD who was consulted to check for infections.
Avatar m tn The liver is normal in size, contour and attenuation. Possible tiny hypodense lesions in the liver are likely benign. What happen cause this. Do I need more test and treatment? I am worry about something happen to me. Please help.
6445220 tn?1381351305 Both US and CT revealed a 5mm cyst in the left liver lobe in addition to the 2 cm nodule in the right liver lobe. CT revealed a 8 mm nonenhancing lesion along the posterior left cortex compatible with a cyst on my kidney. The radiologist stated in the report the lesion warrants further evaluation. My PCP has me scheduled for a liver protocol MRI, which I will have in a few days.
Avatar n tn While I brushed my teeth and gently brushed my tongue I noticed lesions on my tongue when I spit, even with clear water, it has a hint of bright red (blood) in it. The lesions on my tongue, by this third day, are almost 1/2 deep as my tongue is thick. I thought perhaps I wasn't drinking enough water, and dehydration was the cause, but this does not not really appear to be the problem. I have a multitude of allergies, but if this is a result is it a new one.
Avatar m tn Yea...I mean, it's only my tongue that's the problem...some days my tongue looks dry...and the lesions seem to be going down..and then few days down the road they come back. The only reason I think the herpes is related to the lesions in my mouth is because I didn't have this problem before I need to go and have another test. Thanks everyone.
Avatar f tn And ever since it’s been on the inside of my mouth. I have nothing on my tongue just these weird lesions that grow on the inside of my cheeks and both lips. They bloom randomly so sometimes I have more and sometimes less and that’s like a one week period so I don’t go longer periods with less, just a few days. I do believe I have some acid reflux. My mouth is almost always sour tasting. I’m not sick much otherwise so my immune system seems fine.
Avatar n tn An MRI revealed lesions on my kidneys, liver and spleen. What would cause these?
Avatar n tn They told him to live clean of alcohol and quit smoking and that will extend his life expectancy. They check yearly with a sonogram he now has lesions on his liver. What does that mean. Does he have cancer, what should he do? Should he be seeking help outside of the VA?
Avatar m tn Hello... I am having the same problems. Lesions on the liver. I am scheduled to have ct scan done next week. My liver enzymes are high like yours. Can you tell me the results of your biopsy ? Thanks.
Avatar m tn Hepatitis C Risk – The Hepatitis C virus can also cause chronic liver disease with a potential for being fatal. Transmitted via blood-to-blood contact, this illness is harder to acquire from sexual contact. While there is little evidence proving Hepatitis C acquisition through oral sex, a theoretical risk exists if there is any blood present in the giver or receiver.
Avatar n tn FNH is a condition in which a nodule, composed of a central scar tissue and clumps of surrounding liver cells, is found within an otherwise healthy liver. The size of the nodule in FNH can vary in size. What happened on the old lesion? Is it still there? Has it grown? Is the doctor being proactive by ordering a Constrasted CT Scan on the liver? This will provide a much clearer picture than a ultrasound can. A liver biopsy? This will tell you the health of the liver.
