THe problem is ALWAYS way worse in the morning. I sleep with life savers in my mouth (2-4 of them) to promote saliva during the night. They just dissolve at some point as I sleep. My mouth wakes up pretty white but after sucking on a mint and brushing my teeth it goes back to normal color but cheeks still feel rough.
Bottom line - I've had these odd migrating white patches around my mouth (cheeks and tongue).
1. The tiny amount of HIV that could have been present in his saliva if he was infected
2. The possibility that he may have had blood in his mouth?
Should I get tested/abstain from kissing my fiance/ anything else?
Burning sensation in the left side of tongue,lip& inside of cheek and no tastein leftside of tongue since last three months.
1 day later I had tingling testicles and it burned slightly to urinate, I also started to have ulcers on cheek lining and a white tongue. As the days went by the tongue got worse but the tingling and ulcers got better. My cheek lining became swollen and rubbery. 4 weeks post event and I have not experienced fever or rash but the most alarming thing is that the fat on one cheek bone has almost disappeared and my face has got thinner.

Hi im a 38 yr old male please somebody help, about 4 months ago i noticed a patch of tissue on my inside cheek just above the junction where cheek meets gum was different that the surrounding area i cant really see anything visually but can feel it with my tongue. It still feels soft but a bit bumpy.
I thought it would go away but it hasn't i have since notice the same texture on my lower inside gums around the area of 1st molar on both sides.

I just had four wisdom teeth removed 3 days ago and today i noticed a bump on my cheek that was starting to get upset due to my tongue rubbing it while i spoke it was soft and squishy. When i discovered it i got a flash light and was having a look at it i moved my tongue and it popped open and some gross stuff oozed out.What the heck was that and should i be concerned? im planning a visit to the oral surgeon on monday just in case.
Another day passed and white papules appeared inside my cheek touching the top row of my teeth in the back. Many patients complain of sensory symptoms such as numbness or tingling in the face on the same side of the weakness. Where the lesion is determines what additional symptoms there are. If you do not have an upper motor neuron disease you will be able to hold the tongue against the cheek despite the resistance given. You can do this test with your doctor too. Severe vitamin B12, vitamin D and electrolyte deficiency too could be the cause. I know you had normal blood works but did they include these tests? Please consult your doctor regarding this.
You need to run a test for moniliasis to rule this out. It could also be due to caries in tooth, abscess in gums, pyorrhea, abscess in cheek, or infection of internal ear. It could also be due to osteomyelitis of the jaw bone or due to involvement of temporomandibular joint.

I never felt any pain from my tongue when the dentist did it like some people say they do, but i still do have a slight tingling sensation on the right side of my tongue. The tip of the tongue and the left side however is normal, and the numbing feeling of the right cheek and right part of the lip went the same day i had the dental work. I just wondered when my tongue will go back to normal?
Also, during this time I started feeling a build up of pressure in the neck/cheek area. 10/9 started taking Doxy which wasn't making me feel to much better.
Oct 27, 30 days out from last exposure took Lyme/Hiv and ANA test with another Do. Lyme band p23 positve but CDC requires multiple band for positive lyme diganosis. HIV and ANA negative. Went on another 4weeks of Doxy. Joint pain was gong away but that was the case before the doxy.
Lots going on here! I'm 22 years old. Today is tuesday. On thursday, I started experiencing what i thought was acid reflux, and my chest was tight in the center. small "burps" kept coming up as well. I have never been able to force myself to burp, but every now and then small burps would come up. On Saturday, the burping sensation stopped, yet the chest pain was still consistent.
Chest pain has been consistent from Thursday - today (Tuesday).
Yesterday I noticed a white patch (more of a white line) on that right side on my cheek that I can wipe off and underneath was a little red/pink so as I was looking with a flash light I also noticed in the very upper cheek (I think its next to that duct thing) where my upper tooth touches was also a tiny white spot that I could wipe off but it was bright red underneath. It almost looked like a tiny blood blister (like a few tiny bright red pen marks) but when I touched it there was no blood.
In the last year I have had a few occasions where I have had the inside of my cheek and the side of my tongue swell up. It is always the same side of my mouth. I was trying to pay attention and it seems to happen when using plastic straws, or that is when I seem to really notice it. Is this some kind of allergic reaction? It goes away pretty much by the next day, but takes a couple of days to completely go away.

They are not raised, are not painless, not hard, and seem to almost disappear during the middle of the day, as strange as that may sound. They are much more pronounced during the morning and evening. During the day the "spots" are still there, but they are almost the color of my tongue so they are harder to see. I wonder if this could be indicative of tongue cancer?
