Hi Hannah! Just wanted to see how you're doing? How have you ben feeling lately? Weren't you on bed rest for a bit?
I'm doing well. I plan to test on Thursday at 12 dpo. I will try very hard not to test before that, but I may break down. I don't have many symptoms which is actually a good sign for a lot of women. I have had small bouts of nausea the last several days, but not much to speak of. My breasts are sore just some of the time, usually in the evening.
hehehe.. you girls know what it is like.. when they say bedrest do they actually think we women are going to be able to stay in bed??? As long as we don't do anything to strenuous then why must we stay *in bed*? I know you all couldn't do it either.. *sticking my tongue out at ya...hehehe* I am being careful... but now I am ready for him to get here!!
In doing more research, those cyst do not typically appear at the front of her tongue. I am worried about this because my father has cancer in the base of his tongue cussed by HPV. Does anybody have any insight as to what this can be? I never noticed it until I got sick and it causes pain every time I stick my tongue out or try to eat.
After the dentist gave me an injection of novacaine, I have no feeling in the tip of my tongue and along the right side of my tongue. I am afraid I will never regain the sensation in my tongue again. Can you tell me if this is normal, and if so, how long it will take for the feeling to return? I'm thinking my dentist did something wrong to cause this, although he is adamant that he did not. I have more dental work that needs to be done, but am afraid to continue.
Generally, tongue pain may occur in diabetic neuropathy, mouth ulcers, iron deficiency anemia, pernicious anemia, B-vitamin deficiencies (glossitis), leukoplakia (or oral cancer) and exposure to irritants such as tobacco/alcohol/hot foods/spices. Usual symptoms could be pain, swelling, and change in appearance of the tongue. Sometimes tongue movement problems also can cause pain and most often caused by nerve damage.

It could be something like nighttime seizures which is one of the top 3 common reasons for tongue biting in your sleep, these seizures are usually a tightening of muscles accompanied by violent twitching but involuntarily biting of the tongue during sleep is definitely suggestive of seizures.
My situation: I have geographic tongue (in short: red, sometimes painful spots caused by "shedding," on the day in question I had one "sore" a bit bigged than a pea), and I am not sure how serious this condition is to strength of my tongue tissue's ability to keep viruses out of the blood stream. also I bite my tongue/cheek a lot sometimes causing them to bleed (my tongue had been bleeding earlier on the day in question).
I've recently noticed that I have developed a crack in the middle of my tongue. It is not massive, but is still not normal (for me at least). I know it hasn't always been there because I had to put some stuff on an ulcer in my mouth and I recall looking all over my tongue for more of them, crack was not present at the time. Anyway I clean my teeth at least twice a day, including gums and brushing over the tongue. I do smoke but only one cigarette every 1 - 2 days so not much.
re kissing and i put my finger in her vagina then followed by putting it in my mouth. Today i have woken up with a cut on my tongue (really similar to if i have bit my tongue in the night) and im worried that ive got oral herpes. I had it done with my last pregnancy at 37 weeks. The Dr told me I was only 2cm and about 40% effaced. He said he would predict I would go another two weeks. Well about 6 hrs later I was admitted to a room in full labor and he came in and was like "What happened?" I did go home and walk A LOT after my appt and my sister made me a chic milkshake with 2 tsp of castor oil...... Disgusting btw!
fever would be more like 101, symptoms come all at once, symptoms are generally flu like. No you should not judge an infection on symtoms alone, only by risk.
