Hi about 4 weeks again I had a really sore tongue which quickly filled by my right top part of my tongue being really swollen and an ulcer underneath. Very annoying and gradually the tongue has now come down however I have a very solid 1cm lump left on the under side of the actual tongue towards the tip. My researching of ventral under toungue comes up as possible cancer etc as it’s more than three weeks. Would tongue cancer start this way or could I just be an infection.

I have a ulcer like hole forming on the roof of my mouth, but unlike an ulcer it does not hurt if i run my tongue along it also a lot of blood comes from said 'ulcer' if i create a vacuum in my mouth (by sucking on my tongue if you get the idea) it's not white just red in apperance. Could this possible be mouth cancer it's about 4mm long and 2mm wide.
Hi there,sorry for my bad English,I have a 2012 March with a unprotected sex, then I found out I have ulcer in my penis because I have hurt that time,so I very scared ,I go for HIV and herpes test , first test all negative then after second test show up I have herpes but I still have to reconfirm so that I go for other 2 lab check , all come out negative.but is recover few month for this ulcer until now never show up.
Hi I was wondering does anyone know if oral tounge cancer can get smaller i have a small red and white spot on tip of tounge like the size of the tip of a pin, but like a week ago it was the size of a tear drop and was a clear gray color and I could feel more of the bump on my tongue then and know I can barley feel it plus it has never hurt .so I was worried it could be cancer I don't drink and have not smoked in 4 years I only use the e cigg so does any one no if cancer can shrink ?
I have had what appears to be an ulcer on the left side of my tongue for approximately six weeks. It was very painful at first but now less so. I first went to my gp after 3 weeks. he said it was inflammation and gave me mouth wash. I went again a week later & he said it was a dental issue. I went to my dentist and he said it was an ulcer. He gave me orabase ointment. That still didn't work so i went back to my gp who said it was an infection and gave me metranizadole.
Additionally, I developed a white lesion on the side of my tongue and the NP at school and my primary physician have called geographic tongue. But my tongue doesn't "change" like it should, from what I've read. Could it really be a coincidence that my aphthous ulcer, my geographic tongue, and my gum bumps all decided to show up at the same time? Could they be connected to my anxiety?

My pekingese is 14 years old, he doesn't have any teeth and his tongue sticks out, in January 2009 his lip started bleeding I took him to the vet and they stated they couldn't do anything since it was just from his tongue sticking and that spot being wet. Of course I am freaking out so I got on the computer and looked at pictures of ulcers to pictures of oral cancer and from what I saw it looks nothing like an ulcer or sore or anything like the horrible pictures. I can only feel it with my tongue so I ran my finger over the area and I can't feel any lumps or bumps. The color is normal (light pink) and it changes color from light pink to a darker pink then back to light pink again when I press on it or rub over it with my tongue.
Note: any juice with an acid kick can or will cause some 'bubble' on tongue & also can pop up at gum--as a place that stings--as in an ulcer or little bump that really hurts. *especially if with sensitive issues. Apple juice might be a better bet; oj, pineapple, grapefruit as fresh fruit juices...are good for you but not if sickly--and many pills do not do well or are told to not use w/grapefruit with--Lipitor, is a biggy no no!
I performed recently cunnilingus on a woman with unknown HIV status, and I forgot that I had a mouth ulcer on my tongue (caused by accidentally biting tongue) . I am now worried sick that I could have contracted HIV through the ulcer wound..

I looked in the mirror and found an ulcer on the soft palate near the uvula, it is small, white/grey and surrounded by a red hallow. Is it the cause of my ear ache? Another detail I noticed: my right tonsil is visible while the one on the ulcer's side is flat, I can't see it, as if I have none.
I remember that last September they were asymmetric as well, could it be because of that old infection?

s also a doctor and he said that even it is was still on my tongue for 1 month and two weeks, the ulcer on the tip of my tongue is just probably an infection/virus and I should just let it heal and abstain from alcohol and smoking for a while.
