Of course I am freaking out so I got on the computer and looked at pictures of ulcers to pictures of oral cancer and from what I saw it looks nothing like an ulcer or sore or anything like the horrible pictures. I can only feel it with my tongue so I ran my finger over the area and I can't feel any lumps or bumps. The color is normal (light pink) and it changes color from light pink to a darker pink then back to light pink again when I press on it or rub over it with my tongue.
I had a lump on top of my tongue near the middle and the doctor did a biopsy. Later, some dentists told me there isn't enough blood flow there for cancer so the first doctor wasted my time. The lab biopsy result said no cancer and they suspected an infection had been present, but anyway it all just disappeared after a while.
Dentists see oral issues all the time, so perhaps that would be another resource, or at least they might tell you where to go for another opinion.
you need to see an oral surgeon to definitively diagnose what you have found in your tonsillar area, which may be nothing at all. It would be unprofessional to even hint at a diagnosis (or to tell you it's nothing) over the internet because we cannot see you.
m a 31 year old male and about 5 months ago I noticed 2 bump on the side at the very back of my tongue which can only been seen if I stick it out really far, I went to the doctors because I also had a whiteish or yellow patch on the top of my tongue which they thought was due to gerd (acid reflux) they also mentioned mild thrush and put my on Medican for both (the nystatin did nothing for oral thrush) so they concluded it was acid reflux.
My researching of ventral under toungue comes up as possible cancer etc as it’s more than three weeks. Would tongue cancer start this way or could I just be an infection.

I can't really feel them in my mouth, there is no pain involved, it's only when I open my mouth and see them it kind of bothers me as it makes me wonder what causes these red bumps. I noticed it few months ago, it seem to come and go every few weeks.
wow..well I am on steriods from my asthma meds. I mean, I do brush but dont floss like I am suppose to. Plus I need 4 root canals smh. I got 2 root canals on my right side last thursday and now my face and neck are a lil swollen. I also have a canker like sore on my gum right above the root canals. I am suppose to be taking my antibotics but I been haven't. To sum it up in a nut shell. My tongue doesn't look like the orall thrush pictures.
I do know that they oftentimes have someone visit schools who had mouth, tongue or throat cancer, who would talk to the students. Some of these poor people had half their face gone or had to speak through a hole in their throats. My sister told me they had one such visitor when she was in early high school (I was still in junior high). She said after the assembly she saw a lot of students throw packs of cigarettes into the trash. I do think that really affected the students.
I currently have tongue irritation (my taste buds at the tip are inflamed and the edge of my tongue is irritated, also the base of my tongue feels raw and my gums around the molars are itchy)? I apologize if I sound childish I am just scared and don't have anyone I can talk to about the situation. I am going to get a test done this week.

I have a white tongue, it is not outrageous like the google image pictures of thrush, but its the middle part of my tongue, and it goes all the way down the back of it, and it is white and fury. I can scrape it off, and there is no bleeding afterwards. It is just like this white fur is growing off my tongue. I have been really thirsty lately because in my dorm I don't drink a lot of water, so maybe dehydration is a reason, but I also am coughing up flem. Any idea what this is?
and starting from there i had red dots on my tongue , ulcre all over my mouth , canker sores and white tongue and something like back on my cheek plate like a patch and theres like a line between this patch and the tumer which i can feel by my tongue ! and all these symptoms exist till now
Had like 6 neative hiv teste last one was 16 weeks after my last exposure
I visited a dr today ENT and he seemd surprised and said CT scan then 2 sec he changed his mind to a MRI face and cheeks !!
