Tongue bumps blood

Common Questions and Answers about Tongue bumps blood

Morning, This is going to be a hard one for me to tell you, but I am only reflecting on my situation and everyone is different. I started with the "white tongue" no pain- but my tongue looked weird. I commented to my family all the time. Then the bumps started- then acid then the "burning" I hate to say, but I dealt with that for 2 years with our medical help. No one could help me. Then that is when I started checking on how I could get rid of it.
The oral sex consisted all of 5 minutes with my penis outside of the persons mouth most of the time being jerked and licked. The next day I noticed small red bumps around my penis close to the head going about 75% around the shaft as well as bumps around the base of the head of my penis and a reddish change in color on the head that comes and goes. The bumps are whitish/reddish/skin colored.
Along with the bumps, I will get a bit of a scratchy throat. It does not hurt but like the little bumps, it just feels a bit irritating. Normally, the bumps will flare up and the throat will feel itchy for a few days to a week or so and then they will calm down only to reappear a week or two later. I did go see a few doctors at walk in clinics and they all said it's nothing to worry about but to be honest, I've been feeling really scared as of late because of this.
My throat has been this way for 6 months now and won't go away. I have also developed bumps on my tongue AFTER treatment. Is this a new infection? Where do I go from here? My doctor is having a tough time helping me. Is there anything at home I can try?
Another problem I was experiencing at the time and am still experiencing is white bumps underneath my tongue, along my lingual frenulum, and at the very back of my tongue as well. They are quite prominent to anyone who looks in my mouth, and unusual. One of them along the side of my tongue rubbed against my tooth and caused a small chunk of skin on my tongue to open up and caused me some pain and irritation, and then went away.
Howdy- Well, I went to our local health clinic this morning and saw a lovely doctor who drew blood and did a culture of my tongue. She also didn't think it was anything to worry about, but wanted me to be sure. However, she did say she would do both and IGG test and an IGM test, which I hear (from these boards) is utterly useless and may give a false positive? Should I cancel the IGM test, or at least see what happens? What are the chances of false positive? Thanks!

My tongue is so hairy too, been this way for the past 3 weeks, and recently i developed these raised red bumps towards the back. I try to scrape my tongue and the white continues even after brushing my tongue several times over and over, gets whiter it seems. Also, when i try to scrape the red raised bumps, turns to blood.
I had the white bumps and yellow tongue also and found out i had a yeast infection in my mouth. I'm not saying that you have the same thing but its something to possibly think about.
I started using a tongue scraper and now I seem to have small little red bumps at the tip of my tongue. I am not sure if this is a reaction to using the tongue scraper or just further issues that are the cause of some disease.
The last 2 weeks I have been having problems with my tongue. It always burns when I brush my teeth or when I smoke (which I should quit too!!)... and there looks like little white dots on it only on one part of it though that kind of hurt. Did anyone else have anything like this as a part of a detox symptom? I know my body is still going through changes even after 30 days so Im just curious. I do have a dentist appt at the end of the month and will check with him if its not better by then.
I thought it was a side effect of the meds, but I have been off them for a week and still the crazy orange tongue remains. I had some blood work done last week for a routine physical and the only weird reading was a high level of creatin - which may be an indication of decreased kidney function according to the doc.
I have popped a couple and blood has come out of them. I also have two bumps near the tip of my penis. My tongue has also turned white. I am scared to death that I have aids. I just want to know what the bumps are and is it a sign of aids? Please help me. Thanks.
As far as the dizziness when standing this is probably due to the normal drop in blood pressure that people have when rising to the standing position. You may have low blood pressure to start with. So maybe get your blood pressure checked. Even if all you can afford is to go to Walmart or a pharmacy and use one of their machines. As far as the frequent urination, stomach upset, and headaches, those can all be caused by problems with your blood sugar.
I'm a healthy 30 year old (except for high blood pressure) About a month ago I went to the dentist to have some fillings done. A few days later one of my molars broke in half. I didn't call the dentist and figured I would wait until my next appointment. Not much longer my throat became irritated and very red. My tongue has formed a yellow coating and red dots on the end. I eat a lot of very spicy food (everyday) and at first I thought the bumps might be irritated taste buds.
All of a sudden both or our throats are bothering us and i have a sore tongue as well with red bumps on the back of my tongue. Any ideas? I've been tested for eveything because of a blood disorder i have and he just got tested but no results back yet.
I'm on my 17th week of interferon and ribavarin and lately my tongue and throat feel dry and very a burning/stinging sensation. The Dr. doesn't say much about it. Matter of fact...pretty much anything..he sums up to side effects. For example...I have these bumpy red spots on my arms, neck and legs. They itch constantly and the surface of my skin has become leathery. My blood panel isn't to far out of whack..except my TSH which is a 45.1...where the normal range should be .
Yes we call them lie bumps lol.....before treatment id get maybe one once a year now i stay with them...they stated on me about 13 weeks into treatment. Before my mother passed away she had them so bad from chemo she couldnt eat or hurt her so bad. I looked them up and saw this >>>Transient lingual papillitis, commonly known as "lye bumps" or "lie bumps," can be a painful nuisance, but fortunately the bumps are not generally a sign of serious illness.
Really hoping that I don't have an HSV-2 infection orally. Small raised red bumps on tongue. Feels like a type of film is on tongue too.
hello, Im a 38 yr old female , I have recently had an hsv blood test due to a reoccuring small ulcer on my inner labia, the test came back as hsv1 positive . now last week I came home from a normal eye appointment , doc said healthy eyes and on the top lid was a small fluid filled yellow bubble , I touched it and it popped , my eye got itchy and red .
Initially 3 weeks before, i had it on the left side of the tongue almost near the tip of the tongue. After two three days i had it on the right side exactly as the same spot of the first one, but on the right. After that i had a small sore on the inner part of the tongue, towards the throat almost at the center. It repeated two three times and again today in the evening I've one on the right side of the tongue, but on the different position than the last time.
Anyway my 2nd oral outbreak I believe started w a sensitive feeling inside my mouth in my inside left cheek and sensation travelled to front of my mouth. Then I had all bumps on my tongue raised same colour as tongue some size of a tac some tiny raised taste buds. Also had craters at side of tongue and tip. 3 dr said not herpes one dr said maybe. Got it swabbed 4 days after presentation of symptoms 1. What does herpes look like on the tongue vs another viral outbreak or just stomatis? 2.
I've had similar symptoms of pain in the tip of my tongue for several months. While I have NO white bumps, and have suffered no burns, the tip of my tongue has a different appearance from the rest of it- it appears darkened, redder, visibly different. For about a month the sensitivity went away and my tongue was normal. Just recently the pain has returned. I can't blame it on any specific foods, drinks, toothpaste or mouthwash, nor can I explain its temporary absence and re-emergence.
Though, 17 days later, I happened to look at my tongue and noticed there were three red circles/sores on the tip of my tongue...but one was more to the side of the tongue but still on the edge. They turned red and circular but went away in 4 days. Just yesterday, I noticed a red circular formation starting to appear again on the tip of my tongue and today, it has a very tiny white puss looking bump on the edge of the center of the red circle.
So I know this isn't a specific topic to CM but a some of you mentioned that you got thrush on your tongue after the surgery. My tongue has been bothering me for weeks, it's been burning and I've felt like I had dry mouth and just this gross taste in my mouth. Last night, it just drove me nuts so I took a flashlight and looked in there...I can't tell for sure how white it is in the back but there were definitely blisters back there. Plus, my tongue looks swollen to me.
I used 1% hydrocortisone on my lips and that has made the bumps smaller but my tongue condition seems to be getting worse. What can it be? And who should I visit: doctor or dentist? Someone told me it could be an infection trying to get out of my body. Could that be true? Could it be a vitamin deficiency? What can it be related to? I'm an otherwise healthy 25 year old that eats right and exercises. Thanks for your help!!!
It seems worse towards the end of the tongue. I can also see some bumps, but they dont pain. Despite all this I dont have any canker sores in my mouth or any other symptoms anwhere in my body. Its been more than 2 weeks and the cuts dont seem to be getting better. I was wondering if someone can help and let me know what is going on. I cant seem to find a good source to solve this. Is this Thrush? Or is it Stomatatis? What is it? Are there any tongue issues related to stress?
Just about 2 months ago I began developing strange allergic reactions. They have occurred on my feet, hands, back of knee, upper thigh, lip and now tongue. I have gone to the doctor before and they said it was contact dermatitis. I have not figured out what I'm allergic to yet and am still waiting for a call back from the allergy department. Last night, I woke up at about 3am with a swollen tongue. It really freaked me out.
