I also believe I have geographic tongue because I get those small white circles in various parts of my tongue day-to-day. My tongue is fissured with a large groove down the middle. Spicy and hot (temp) foods irritate it but I've managed. My tongue always seems inflammed, red, and warmer than usual to the touch. The front half of my tongue is not really coated.
The other day I went to a new dentist and he was concerned about how my tongue looked. It looks like a small groove, about 5 mm long, and has some white stuff in it. He told me it concerned him, but this was before I told him my tongue had been biopsied before in the same area. Could this just be scarring or where the previous biopsy was done? I plan to go see the oral surgeon just in case, but was wondering in the meantime.
Hello. I'm 19, I had a thin white film and furry on my tongue for several years and it still remains unchanged. It seems like not a coat, just my papillae is white. I can't get rid of it, i can scrape it off but it's still very thin white subsequently. I also have a groove in midline of my tongue and toothmark around the tongue. I have a poor oral dental hygiene history, i used to brush my teeth only 1 time in the morning.
For the past year and a half, I've had these symptoms and none of the dentists I've been to have looked into it when I told them about it. Do you know that sensation you get on your tongue when you rub your tongue in the groove in a chipped porcelain cup? That's what my lower front 6 teeth have felt like for the past year and a half. My gums are swollen, sore and irritated, and I have this sensation of having something stuck in between my teeth.
m worried that maybe some of her vaginal fluids could have gotten into my mouth, even though I made a point to wait several seconds before proceeding on her so that anything that might be on the dental dam would be exposed to the air, and also used only the very tip of my tongue. She also fingered me, and the palm of her hand had dried blood from a fight she had been in days before, but she only used her fingers on me.

i went to the oral surgeon today and his observation was that i have developed a fissured tongue even though i had no history or past observations of it. he examined my mouth and tongue and found nothing else. i also asked him about association of fissured tongue with HIV especially in early stage of the disesae. he said that in absence of other symptoms especially pain in fissures it is hard to see that association and he had not seen any such case in his life.
My son got his hands on some Super Glue and got a very large area of his hair covered in it. So now it is matted down and his hair is stuck to his scalp. They was a small spot that I was able to rip away, basically like a eyebrow waxing job. But this area is much larger. Any ideas what to do, we have tried to break up the glue with nail polish, conditioner, and Rubbing Alcohol, but nothing is loosening this up. I'm assuming the hair wont grow and loosen this up?
This question concerns the presence of a colorless (skin-colored) halo-shaped "groove" that goes around the middle or so of my glans. Sometimes it is higher up sometimes lower down. Along with the presence of this groove my urethreal meatus is noticeably more distended "loose", wrinkled and achy...when it aches it causes my penis to react by subtly shrinking..it is not a good feeling.
I know this thread is 11 years old, but did you figure out that cause of the groove.

i went to a doctor and he prescribed Acyclovir for a week, after a week or so my tongue turned white and hairy with 3 to 4 fissures on the front part of tongue, the sides of my tongue has small vertical lines with little bit whiteness and hard palate of my mouth turned light black or grey with small blisters and are painless. 3 weeks later no change in my tongue and i went to see ENT Doctor and he told me that could be a possible leukoplakia and gave me a compound oral solution.
My friend's child just got a cut around her eye glued instead of stitched, and I was wondering if it was normal that it turning a greenish, ***** color with red?

The only issue is that I am due to fly back to the UK tomorrow to attend university, it isn't a long flight (about an hour), but I'm worried about the negative effects this may have on my ears.
Would it be relatively safe to fly?

change a lot of what you are used to... dont pay attention to the usual because once you find that groove you will feel better than ever and you will want to keep on grooving... this can be hard because some of those memories(weddings, graduations, dramatic break ups), are intense but they do take up a lot brain power to think about so just take the photos and stash them in a safe area where no one will ever see them again,...
s how you spell it, also low iron deficiencies, nickel and glue! The hospital have suggested many times too send me too specialist hospitals but they want to find the cure and publish it, so will not send me.

My procelain veneer broke a couple months ago and I've been keeping it together with Krazy Glue. Unfortunately, the glue doesn't hold up long. Sometimes the bond hold for a week....sometimes an hour. I'm tired of gluing my tooth on every morning. I am looking for a recommendation for an adhesive or glue that I can use.
With my first two they did stitches and with my 3rd c-section they did glue...
