We live in southern California. We as a family have gone for a vacation to Florida last weekend. My toddler is now 28 months. He had no allergies from birth. But after coming from vacation, I've noticed few red patches or rashes like on his lower rib part, within a day it is spreading. Now I can see the same in his chest, on his back and some on his face too. Is it any sun damage or any other allergic blisters. I'm not sure whether it is itchy...
about 5 or so days ago i started to get these small red very itchy bumps all over my body. i thought it might be a new shampoo or a delated alergy to honey, so i stopped using both automatically. its been 4 or so days since and they still arent exactly going away. old ones are drying up and are just a itchy red scab, and new red itchy bumps are showing up near the dried up ones. thought i was a scratch infections, but all scratches/injuries/breaks in my skin are healing beautifully.

So I've had a rash spreading for about 2 weeks now. It originally started with minor bumps on my underwear lining.Heat and sweat made the skin more irritated and helped it spread. I'd compulsively scratch whenever drifting in sleep. Some bumps have started to scar and become scaley. About a week later a rash started appearing on my neck. I recall waking up drenched in sweat and a minor itch on my neck. I mildly touched it throughout the next couple days without any noticeable changes.
Have you ruled out heat rash??? I don't know how itchy it is but heat rash involves blocked sweat glands and it can definately form into a raised rash. Another possibility is discoid eczema. Unexplained dermatitis is a real thing as well. I have 'something' going on with one of my fingers. It will flair up into an itchy, very small raised rash, and then I scratch and the skin gets shiny and it peals. It does this a couple of times a year and is ONLY on my pinkie. ?????
my husband has a rash that started with little red bumps, and are very ichy it started under his arm below his arm pit it but it is not under his arm pit. It traveled to his waist to groin to upper back now on butt and going down to his khalves. First Dr. gave prednisone tablets and cream Mystatin &Triamcinolone Acetonide .It keeps traveling. went to Dermatologist she said she don't know what it is but she doesnt think it is internal. She gave him clobetasol Propionate cream usp, 5%.

It can be due to atopic dermatitis, eczema, heat rash or fungal infection if it is spreading. The treatment for all of these is entirely different. I suggest you to get an evaluation and a KOH examination of the skin scrapings done to confirm the diagnosis for any fungal infection. Biopsy skin can also be done.

She was prescribed econozole - however, many actually get relief from over-the-counter topical creams (apply to the skin where the rash is) for yeast infection. Perhaps your daughter's doctor, pharmacist, or nurse could advise you over the phone if it's worth trying.
Hi, from what you describe, you could not infect the baby. First the sore was dried so no active surface virus, second you put cream on you finger, third was an hour time delay so any virus there would die, forth you used the baby wipes on your fingers also used diaper rash cream on you fingers and hsv1 does not prefer the genital area.
Hsv really needs direct contact to expose like hard rubbing kissing with an active sore or genital to genital contact.

Yes, it's only on my right side. The top of the rash slants downward from the centerline just like in the dermatome diagrams (looking at the back), but it sure looks like like several dermatomes. If it keeps spreading, I'm going to see my doc. The rash has not even begun to go away after 3.5 weeks, in fact getting slightly worse and considerably larger, just stays red and bumpy and itchy.
