it is a million times worse when she is sick with a cold.. but this coughing is when she has no cold too.. and again worse at night...it is constantly worsening.. we have not had a chest x-ray--but a sinus scan when she was 2-- i am at a loss as what to do and what is going on!!!!!! so tired.. we are all so tired!
In the hospitals they changed antibiotics 5 times and did 5 xrays. After 2 weeks she has started coughing and wheezing after running and playing. This has occurred 4 times both indoors and outside. Could she have gotten asthma due to the prolonged lung condition? Is it possible that with all of the antibiotics her lungs were damaged? Should I keep her from getting too worked up and running around for a while in hopes that perhaps her lungs just need some rest?
Over the past couple of days the runny and stuffy nose symptoms have continued and the coughing is getting worse. The coughing is especially worse during the night. His stools don't look exactly normal either. They have been darkened and sometimes have a really dark reddish tint to them. He also has not been eating as much and as well as he normally was, but he is still drinking as much as usual. I am starting to feel that there might be something a little more serious going on here.
His doctor hasn't given him any type of inhaler. He also said to try to take him off of singular every once in a whale and see how he is doing with out it. and that is why he stated to cough again. when on singular he doesn't cough nearly as much. I just don't know how to help him breath easier when he is coughing so much, that is his wheeze.
Yes I agree with your grandson's pediatrician,there has been a lot of stomach bugs going round amongs't children this year .Keep him hydrated with water and pedialite is he coughing ?

The thing that concerns me about this cough is that everytime I breathe in it feels like I just got done running outside in the cold which in turn makes me want to cough more. What does this mean?
I am 32+5 and I just came down with a horrible cold from my 3 year old toddler..what is something I can do to get rid of this cold quick..my baby shower is in 2 weeks and I hate being sick..seems like this cold will never end..my nose is runny, I keep coughing, and my throat is starting to hurt from coughing..please help.!!
He never has this issue when chasing after balls in the backyard (where he is flat out sprinting) or other games that involve him running, only when we take him for a walk.

a few days ago i noticed a blue vein or vessel on the side of my toddlers face... coming down the cheek and running to the jawline. when i looked later, it seemed to be gone. Since then I have noticed it a couple of times and it seems to disappear when i look later in the day.
I seen the ped today because my toddler had a swollen node and he said the node was probably swollen from a fly bite or something and it was normal.

We started inhaled steroid (budesonide), albuterol regimen again. Proved unsuccessful to resolve cough. Round of Orapred proved unsuccessful to resolve cough. After four months we consulted with Pulmonologist.
t inhale pool water and he has maybe once or twice each time we have swimmed over the last 7 days but not more than a typical toddler does when they accidently get water in their mouth and breath in at the same time. Plus the fact that this cough has worked its way through all of my children the same way makes me think it can't be the pool. So my two youngest boys are now coughing so hard it scares me. Hello , my daughter we t to the er today for coughing and trouble breathing... They ended up putting her on oxygen ... Levels ranging from 88-92 is this normal!? What could cause this? Also we got sent to a permanent room and now her oxygen is 87 and they don't hVe the oxygen on ??!! ?? Is thus bad?? Her heart rate is 155 is that normal?
coughs several times and then seems to have to dig into his throat for a final clearing cough although nothing is produced. Has no heart problems. is running around on his walks like a 2 year old. Does not cough as much when out walking. My vet seemed to think it was nothing and he has suffered from little warts, one of which had to be taken off in an operation. Found nothing in his throat then. lives inside and is looked after.
Hi i have a 12 year old male staffie who has had 4 seizures over the past 4/5 months other than this and a few fatty lumps he eats well runs around and is very happy but for the past few days has started coughing normally first thing in the morning and when excited cough sounds like he has some thing stuck in his throat any advice ??

Well is that the correct way to check it because if it's 30 seconds it's way too high...something like 400bpm..I need help!!
Why would our 2 yr old + rotti cough very loudly, like a child with a chest cold, when she ran for a stick this morning? It was a hard, fast run. She coughed twice, then it subsided. She has not done this before. She was breathing hard. She has a short snout, and our vet told us when she was 4 mos old that there could be some breathing issues, although nothing major expected.

Does anybody else have a toddler that seems to do everything to irk your nerves more than before you was pregnant seems like my attitude towards her is on 1000 but I don't say anything because I will feel bad
