16615961 tn?1454420087 Hi SmileyChelly86 I wish you a lot of luck, if you're gonna be seeing a conventional endocrinologist or rheumatologist. Adrenal fatigue is not in their medical dictionary. I would not put a lot of hope on this appointment. My choice, if I were in your shoes, would be a Functional Medicine doctor who has training in thyroid and adrenal issues Here are some basic correlations: 1 Hashimoto's shares the same alleles as RA (allele: a variant form of a gene) 2.
Avatar f tn I asked the above questions, plus some more specific ones that had to do with other medical conditions that were impacted by my thyroid condition. I made the questionnaire multiple choice so the doctors only had to spend e few minutes filling it out. I received exactly one reply! Very telling. Guess who my endo is?! I liked his answers (luckily), except that he won't use Armour.

1193227 tn?1264943759 Everything I have read online tells me that I need thyroid meds, but the doctor I am seeing says she will not give them to me. Today I took the questionnaire on diagnose-me.com It is about 900 pages to give you a diagnosis of potential problems. They also said that I was hypothyroid, and need a second opinion. Does anyone know of a good doctor in the Crestview, Ft Walton Beach, Pensacola area that might treat this condition?
1547096 tn?1293717180 Due to my thyroid condition. Are there any good, best and top doctors out there for my thyroid condition at all? I have what is called hypothyroidism along with shortness of breath, fatigue and tiredness and sleepiness during the day and night. I sweat during the day and during the night.
Avatar f tn I would advise you to consult a sleep specialist who would assess with first a sleep questionnaire, and then he may ask for a polysomnogram, which is an overnight sleep study as this helps to detect the apneas. Regards.

Avatar f tn Prolonged unregulated thyroid function may lead to sigificant organ involvement, often prior to the onset of lupus. Low DHEA may be underlying other hormonal deficiencies-adrenal fatigue is suspect. Your RBC and HCT are just below range - a likely factor. Your high CH50 count means that your total complement system is overactive. When I had been studying Dr.Barnes work, one particular finding stayed with me.
Avatar f tn ve had for 7+ years. One of the things they said they test for is thyroid disorders, and while looking for information I noticed that along with anxiety, a lot of other problems I've had for a long time match the symptoms of hyperthyroidism.
Avatar f tn I have had my thyroid tested before I was diagnosed with lupus. My thyroid function is fine.
Avatar n tn I tested it because of thyroid problems and sometimes your cortisol can get whacky with thyroid problems.
