1427484 tn?1334789201 my sister in law was told that by her acupuncturist .. chinese believe in heat and cold as diagnoses .. you want to warm up your body so you will increase blood flow to the uterus. she started wearing warm socks all the time and keeping her head warm too .. also added lots of ginger to all meals and tea to get warmed up from the inside .. after 6 months of acupuncture and warming up, at nearly 42 she conceived .. she is now 4 weeks away from delivery!

1104206 tn?1407475591 the endometrium is difficult to visualise due to the heterogeneity of the uterus. within the right ovary there is a 1.5 cm complex cyst which has some internal echoes within likely related to be a haemorrhagic cyst.
7003050 tn?1390124013 If you are a smaller person you can actually feel your stool in the right ascending colon. Once the stool moved to the transverse colon it's harder to feel. Going to the bathroom and your normal colonic movement will move the stool along. Sometimes women notice it after pregnancy as we get more in tune/focussed on our abdomen. So totally normal.
Avatar f tn Dont worry im 11wks 5 days , i went to my doc for the same exact symptoms your having on Thursday.
Avatar f tn I had Radioactive Iodine in 1987 to complete kill my thyroid on the left due to hyperthyroidism ...... i had normal values ever since.....but in 2006 on a chest xray they found a nodule and I went to my endocrinologist who did the sonogram and found the thyroid had grown back.. now come on ... plus I had to have it removed due to follicular adenoma....and now of course i have two large nodules in my right gland both measure over 2 cm each.. I just think it is so funny....
999838 tn?1299103020 There may be some weight gain/difficulty losing weight -- but this is usually more than just thyroid, so correcting the thyroid may not automatically correct/address the weight. Using levothyroxine is the standard of care in these cases -- consider an endocrine evaluation to confirm.
2073693 tn?1333125546 I have an enlarged uterus too. At one point it measured the size of a 16-week pregnancy. My gyn said it's not uncommon for peri/menopausal women, especially those who have had kids, c-section or any other surgical procedure. Many women don't even notice any effects of the increased size and therefore no treatment is necessary. Since I had symptoms, my gyn suspected I have Adenomyosis.
8691340 tn?1415127741 At that stage, its probably round ligament pain. Sleeping on your stomach, even if it still appears flat, compresses your uterus. It won't hurt the baby-its well protected in the amniotic sac, but it can cause discomfort as your uterus moves & decompresses.
Avatar n tn I went to the ER and they told me the cervix was closed and the baby was fine. I went to my doctor yesterday and they told me I have a blood clot on my uterus and there's nothing I can do about it but get proper rest. I'm 7wks pregnant, will the blood clot go away?
Avatar n tn We have been trying for 4 going on 5 years so we finally took all the fertility test and we came out 100% fine.. So why we haven't had any luck is unknown.. The doctor told me this happens to 15-20% of her patients and I guess I'm wondering if anyone out there has been an "unknown"? Any success?
Avatar f tn I am 5 weeks pregnant, my frst pregnancy. I have a very little thyroid. My doctor askd me not to have sex for the nxt 2.5 mnths. Does that also mean that my husband and I cant even indulge in foreplay? Help me ladies...
Avatar n tn Hi I had a thyroidectomy they were both removed after finding a lump a biopsy was done and was inconclusive the next step opening me up and seeing what was goning on it turned out to be cancer so they removed them. then i stared experencing difficulty swaollowing pills and sometimes food it seemed to get stuck in my thorat so my doctor order a berrium drink test and they found that i have spazem in my stomoch they get stuck and just sit there.
Avatar f tn If you were my patient, I would start with an ultrasound to rule out any retained products of conception (membranes or placental tissue left in the uterus). I would also check some hormone levels including an HCG level, thyroid panel, prolactin level, and FSH to start with. Finally, I would also want to do a complete exam and pap smear to check for polyps or other problems in the cervix.
458072 tn?1291415186 If you still have your uterus you need to take progesterone as well. Did you try the Estrace? It is a good idea to keep a journal if you do. I also think that the thyroid could be causing problems similar to menopause.
Avatar n tn s side of the family has thyroid cancer. They diagnosed me with Thyrotoxicosis. The doctors said my TSH was low (0.016) and my FreeT4 was high(4.94) what do these numbers mean?? Im going to Endocrinology Jan8th so they can conduct tests on me. Please advise.
Avatar f tn Thyroid hormones and estrogen go hand-in-hand for many of us. I was just the opposite - had an ovary removed for PCOS in '96, thyroid cancer in '03, other ovary removed for PCOS (huge, hemorrhagic cysts) in '06 and ongoing fibrocystic breast disease. All are fed by hormones (either thyroid hormones or estrogen) and many, many of us on the forum have these problems.
15915009 tn?1488868338 I was wondering if I'm going to need any treatment in the future for Graves Disease. I've been on anti-thyroid pills for 1 1/2 now. How long is the average time to be on anti-thyroid pills and if I'm going to need RAI or thyroidectomy (which scare me) later in life?
Avatar f tn The reason can be that you are pregnant! However, the best idea to know about it is the pregnancy test. You can do your pregnancy test at home, however, if you find negative result, it would be better to contact with your personal doctor immediately.
Avatar n tn Trying to find a shread of evidence that does not point to cancer. The dr said I had no fibri\oids that could be sean in the ultrasound of my uterus. It all looked normal but the linning was thickened.I have a low thyroid problem but dont think that could be the problem.has any one got any info on this issuse besides cancerous.
186844 tn?1209154044 My belly button used to ache and doc said it is just the uterus stretching.... or pressure from the uterus... if you get real concerned give your dor a call, mine was nothing !
Avatar f tn I have been taking Levoxyl (levothyroxine) 125mcg for over 10 years and have gain almost 100 pounds. As I understand it, Armour is to be used in conjunction with the other thyroid meds and monitored closely, since it is a sythetic harmone replacement. However, weight gain is part of the game and I've been reading these boards. Dr. Lupo will tell you otherwise but I don't think the medical world knows or wants to put the two together.
Avatar n tn I'm 21weeks pregnant and I've been for 3scans since my first 12week scan to measure the baby but couldn't get the measurements as the baby is completely laying in my pelvis and it's so uncomfty, and baby won't move out of the pelvis has anyone else had this problem and advice on how to get baby to move?
Avatar n tn I had an ultrasound for urology reasons and they said I had fluid in the uterus and should see a gyn. I am 69, and there is no pain or problem whatsoever. Everything I've read on the web from other patients involves pain etc. I feel inclined to just leave it alone. Is this dangerous?
