Avatar n tn This is quite a large thyroid with multiple nodules. This may be due to longstanding hashimoto's but likely biopsy will be needed and given the size, possible surgery. Would see an endocrinologist and/or ENT who specializes in thyroid. Also test thyroid function to make sure the symptoms are not due to thyroid levels being abnormal.

Avatar m tn I am concerned that fraud is being committed in all my radiology reports to conceal damage. I saw an obvious pattern of concealment going on in the results. An example is the new findings on my x-rays are being deemed as incidental finding from previous exams..No truth to it.I have an older x-ray radiology report. I had a full body bone scan done and the results came back as only showing uptake by my tooth area only.

Avatar f tn So according to my bloodwork my TSH is 1.4(normal), and according to my thyroid nuclear scan/RAI Uptake I have an overactive thyroid (37.4%). This is what i dont understand...I am the opposite of hyper. I have NO energy, i have been so lethargic and tired my entire life, and still am. I am always spacy and cant focus and i could sleep all day long. Is there some type of adrenal or hormonal irregularity this could be? I have always been sluggish, tired, unmotivated & now its worse than ever..
Avatar n tn I just got the results for my 3rd biopsy in a thyroid nodule. I am wondering if anyone else has had 3 biopsies with no results. My radiologist is excellent and head of radiology at a prestigious Boston hospital. There just seems to be not enough cells. I am sure my endo will want it removed at this point. I am wondering if anyone has had 3 failed biopsies or more and has decided not to have surgery. The nodule is 1.6 cm contains rare follicular cells.... Any help much appreciated!
