Three weeks ago I had my gall bladder removed, I was ok for two weeks after the surgery. Last sunday, I started throwing up bile it continued untill thursday, I went to the er 2 times and to the doctors 2 times, He said I have gerd and put me on previcid, I am still nausious every day all day, allthough I havent thrown up bile in 2 days my stool is bright yellow which I think is the bile comming out the other end and I still feel horrible its like a nightmare that wont end.

I felt like I was dying...literally during the time I was throwing up. I stayed in bed all day and was extremely weak. I tried to drink water in small amounts. I woke up today feeling somewhat better but today I have had 6 bowel movements and very constipated. My right side under the ribs is hurting today and I still feel very weak but again better. Any idea what could be wrong with me & where the green bile came from? What's different about green bile than yellow?
-vomitting/diaherra -nausea -maybe deyhydration? The problem this morning is that she is throwing up GREEN bile, and SWEATING profusely. Please help as we try to find the answer. Thank you. PS- We are picking her up from college and taking her to the hospital so they can give her fluids through an IV if neccessary.
Everything gets backed up and this is why you can't keep any food down and what you do comes out in your watery bile. You MUST continue to rapidly stay hydrated or the stone will not pass. This is personally my first time to actually pass a stone- I was diagnosed with PKD in July last year. I have a total of 6. If you have high blood pressure on top of chronic stones I highly recommend you get tested. A CT scan is the best way to get diagnosed.
I gave her some water and she drank it and ran around happily. I went to work and came back and she had thrown up again, this time yellow bile. She was happy and rambunctious still so I gave her more water and some scarmbled eggs and she went to bed. In the morning around 5 am she had thrown up real bad so I cleaned her up and gave her more water no food. To let her stomach settle. I went to work and had my mom keep an eye on her. When I got back she was groggy and lethargic.
Subsequent vomiting was primarily dry-heaves which turned to vomiting of yellow/green bile by around 5 am. Every time he vomited you could see his stomach really tighten up. At around 5 am he had a couple of episodes of diarrhea that was very runny. The diarrhea also continued the next day as well. After he started the diarrhea the vomiting seemed to subside which is typical of the previous episodes. The vomiting followed by diarrhea seems to be a pattern.
and just a few minutes ago, once more, but a quarter size, and it's yellow bile. I don't know what to do, because he was a very healthy cat and eater. I call the humane society, and they say this isn't related to the neuter, but to bring him in tomorrow, if still vomiting. I don't have anymore money left. I don't know what to do! Please help! Thank you.
About 2 hours later, I was throwing up bile salts (Sickly yellow color). After that, the nausea and diarhea went away and I ate a whole 32 oz jar of applesause that night. Might go out for Chinese Food tonight. I normally don't eat that many vegetables and it make my stomach feel better when I am having problems. Maybe it is the fact we don't eat enough fiber in our diet. I have heard that vegetables are the scrub brush of the intestines.
About 3 days ago the burping (non-stop) and farting, and vomiting started AGAIN!!! I am throwing up bile, i also had hot/cold sweats, severe runs, extreme fatigue, fullness etc. but no right sided pain. I looked up symptoms of vicodin/morphine withdrawal and most of them are present. SOO I am assuming part of this is from no longer taking the pain meds they had me on (at doses high enough to knock out a full grown horse) and then them stopping them suddenly! GOtta love the VA!
I get yellow stools and burning bile that backs up into my system and causes complete HAVOC.... All I can say is good luck to you....in 20 years, I have seen about 15 MD's and ALL of them have different opinions....
In many cases it can be very helpful after the GB is removed. However, if you're throwing up yellow stuff, it suggests that's bile and the problem should be checked out with your doctor. There are individuals that have residual stones lodged in the common bile duct, or they make new ones after the GB is gone. That as well as spasms of the common bile duct can result in the type of shoulder pain you're experiencing.
If the vomiting produces a fair amount of yellow or yellow-green substance, it could be bile and it would reflect possible problems with the gallbladder.
This happened about two months ago again but it was as sever just diarrhea, nausea, and dizziness. Then last night I woke up out of my sleep and had sever diarrhea for an hour and cold sweats. Its very scary when this happens. I am going to see my primary doctor tomorrow, but I am glad that I found other people with these symptoms and all the information has really helped me out. Thank you all and I will keep in contact.
My son had his gallbladder removed and a couple of weeks out started having diarrhea and sometimes throwing up. Taking him to a gastro doctor who did a scope found esophagus irritated from throwing up and a small place on his small intestine that he said not to worry about? doh---he still has diarrhea and sometimes accompanied with blood. What the heck---noone can figure out what is wrong with him.
Friday, in an effort to get her to eat, I poured some water on her dry food. This worked and she ate it all. About midnight Friday night, she started throwing up. A lot. Saturday morning I called the vet and they wanted to see her right away for fear of pancreatitis. They drew some blood, gave her some IV antibiotics, and some fluids, though she was not dehydrated.
the doctor said I had severe dehydration and he give me 3Ivs..i was throwing up yellow and green bile the last days I was throwing up .he had took my blood and told my there was elevated transaminases.he said it might be something that's causing it or my gallstones..since I came back from the doc I havnet been throwing up I just been having this slight pinch under my rib cage or right ,left side of my stomach everytime I have gas or have to do number 2 .I have acid reflux to..
what started out this way has developed into throbbing spleen pain, my ribs feels sticky like there peeling away from body and they feel very sore about 90% of my life. i go through episodes of throwing up ,fevers ,chills, hot spots throughout my body and night sweats.i really could go on.i look sickly half the time and i am a hairdresser so im embarresed.
I had thrown up so much and couldn't stop dry heaving, the doctor said I was beginning to bring up food from my intestines (bile being thrown up turned from yellow/white to green [the veggies I had for dinner hours earlier]). They gave me a shot to try to stop me from throwing up but no luck, I was given an I.V. and they ran blood and urine samples that came back clean. They did an ultrasound for gallstones and it was clear. The doctors gave me Omprazole, and after a few days I was fine again.
the first day he had diarrhea now he just been throwing up white foam and yellow bile! he is very weak... i dont have any money to take him to a vet tonight..i am gonna work on getting some money together and take him tomorrow. does anyone know what i can force him to eat and how? She determined this was what was causing the pressure. Although I was still having diarrhea. She said I could still be having diarrhea and thats what caused the pain (because it was working so hard to get past the blockage). She also put me on an acid reducer for pain and told me to take stool softners. It has been two years since my surgery and I am still having this pressure. After going to so many doctors and not getting a good outcome I started to see an M.D. who does alternative medicine.
Everyone was nauseated and throwing up some even had a fever. I never got the fever just throwing up and nausea and then more nausea for like 3 days and then all of a sudden out of nowhere I got the eggy burps and it has been a constant like every 5 seconds. That icky burp taste and smell is killing me and it has been like 3 days now. I do have extreme gas and bloating and I am also farting a lot. There is a terrible rumble and gurgle going on in my gut.
I was treated with such cavalier ignorance that it makes me feel a little bit sick for people who can't stand up for themselves and who can't get off Tramadol. I'm a smart woman, but I detoxed off EVERYTHING else, before even considering that Tramadol might be my problem. It never ever occurred to me. EVER. Now I see an empty script bottle and it make me nauseous! Anyhow.
This past weekend, not only did she not eat anything, but drank very little and started throwing up a bile looking liquid. I took her to the vet who ran a complete blood chemistry panel as on exam, her bladder was very sensitive, and she felt it could be kidney or bladder. Everything was extremely normal. That panel cost $90.00; however, not included in that panel is a test for lyme disease($10.00), which she suggested might be the problem. The test for lyme was done and was positive.
I often throw up slick yellow bile, and in November, during my last attack, blood came out, too! My upper belly swelled, of course, and I was in agonizing pain for about 18 hours. It passed, as usual, so I did not alert my doctor, even though the blood was NOT usual at all. That had never happened before. I did tell my doc about the incident in January of this year, while visiting him to go over the results of routine bloodwork I'd had done.
or anything for lunch ? I would keep up the prune juice in the morning and at night and separate the food and not all at once. Go light at dinner. Maybe some brown rice and veggies?
