Throwing up yellow bile after drinking

Common Questions and Answers about Throwing up yellow bile after drinking

throwing-up

It wasn't anything it was just that disgusting yellow bile. Since 11pm last night I have thrown up 6 times all of it being the bile. I cannot hold anything down. I had just a small drink of water and seconds later I had to rush to the bathroom. I don't know if this is pregnancy related or am I sick. I'm 9 weeks and haven't got sick before just nausea. I don't know if I should call doctor or just see if it passes. I also have a horrible headache that's not going away.
I am not sure whether I am throwing up bile... or just the grease from what I ate. I am 33 weeks pregnant and haven't really had any problems with the pregnancy besides some gallbladder problems around weeks 24-28. I had really bad pain in my gallbladder area (under right rib and right back, under shoulder blade) for about a month. No signs of stones. Can't do the test to see how my gallbladder is functioning since I'm pregnant. Anyway...

\ I went in to my prenatal appointment after weeks of not sleeping and throwing up acid and bile with no relief. He prescribed Protonix. I took one dose. ONE. MIRACLE. I'm not kidding. Make an appointment ASAP. Don't make yourself suffer. :( DO NOT drink milk because it makes it worse for us. If you can do bread or crackers, try it as it might absorb acid. I couldn't do them very often in the moment lol. I slept sitting up often.
The green vomit could be bile it can be yellow and greenish ..make sure he is hydrated and drinking liquids and as always a visit to the doctor is always good if you are concerned .
I know he makes himself throw up, but only after he's been drinking alot or done too much cocaine. But the main point of the coversation was trying to find a way out of my trapped mind. He's a strong believer in hullucinagenic drugs like Mushrooms. He wants me to try them, even just a little bit because he thinks it might help me out of this cage that I've built for myself. I hate my cage, but at the same time, it's my home.
Yesterday was a little different. I'm familiar with yellow bile but yesterday I vomited bright green bile several times. I felt like I was dying...literally during the time I was throwing up. I stayed in bed all day and was extremely weak. I tried to drink water in small amounts. I woke up today feeling somewhat better but today I have had 6 bowel movements and very constipated. My right side under the ribs is hurting today and I still feel very weak but again better.
I went to work and came back and she had thrown up again, this time yellow bile. She was happy and rambunctious still so I gave her more water and some scarmbled eggs and she went to bed. In the morning around 5 am she had thrown up real bad so I cleaned her up and gave her more water no food. To let her stomach settle. I went to work and had my mom keep an eye on her. When I got back she was groggy and lethargic.
About 3 days ago the burping (non-stop) and farting, and vomiting started AGAIN!!! I am throwing up bile, i also had hot/cold sweats, severe runs, extreme fatigue, fullness etc. but no right sided pain. I looked up symptoms of vicodin/morphine withdrawal and most of them are present. SOO I am assuming part of this is from no longer taking the pain meds they had me on (at doses high enough to knock out a full grown horse) and then them stopping them suddenly! GOtta love the VA!
hiatus of alcohol probably gave your Dad's liver a reprieve from the harsher symptoms of cirrhosis but it's doubtful that it eradicated it. Now that he is drinking again, he is pretty much throwing himself out of the frying pan and into the fire. His drinking will only cause more harm to his liver. His HepC will rev up and then he'll have that attacking his liver as well as the alcohol. A double whammy. Does your Dad or did he see a Gastroenterologist or a Hepatologist?
We did end up bringing Buddy to the vet on tuesday since he was throwing up more bile and I got really scared. He lost 11 pounds in the past week, I couldn't believe it. They gave him a lot of fluids, the x-rays and blood work came back okay so it looks like severe dehydration and maybe heat stroke. He ate a tiny bit of ground beef and rice last night for the first time, but he hasn't pooped since I got home on sunday and he's still really lethargic.
I feel full after eating. My stool is yellow and I don't sleep well at night. I don't know what is going on. Just to let you know you are not alone in this. Good Luck!
My stomach pops out so much, i cant breathe what so ever it's like this pressure i cant move i cant do anything. I end up throwing it up like my stomach rejects the food and after i throw up i feel great the pains are still there but, i can breathe. I have been to the doctor they told me i have colitis. I have been in and out of the emergency room many times, they told me they dont know. So i had a colonoscopy and they found hemroids.
I've had this problem for a while, that is B4 I read about regular old PEROXIDE!! Yes! I said PEROXIDE!
My cat recently started throwing up yellow bile. He sleeps when not throwing up and is lethargic. He wouldn't eat or drink anything the first day, then yesterday he nibbled off and on and drank some water, now he's back to not eating or drinking today. He's usually incredibly affectionate and active but I can't even get him to purr. What could be the cause(s) of this? I'm afraid he might have been poisoned.
Hi, could anyone tell me what clay colored stools and throwing up yellow bile after drinking alot of alcohol means? I also have burps that have a sulpher/aspirin taste to them. I've had an ultra sound, CT scan, CBC telling me my liver and gallbladder were ok, but I'm concerned that they aren't. Thank you.
II can't stop throwing up...even after drinking...and I watch what I eat because I know it is coming back up! Additionally, I've been very clammy, sweaty, dizzy, disoriented. I'm still not sure what is going on -- any answers?
You need to eat something before you get sick. You are throwing up bile and stomach acid because there is nothing in your stomach. If you cant eat i suggest drinking the naked brand red machine smoothies. They are pricey but getting sick after drinking that is like heaven compared to not drinking it. I am 18 weeks and just got over morning sickness, now im getting sick from acid reflux, stock those smoothies for now!!
upper and lower scopes done all normal. So I let it go but recently for about two months I have been throwing up yellow bile in the morning so i revisited the issue with my Dr. Blood tests alt/ast were 152/154 ggt was like one point low, white blood cell count slightly low, negative for all forms of hep etc so am waiting on an abdominal ct scan and its over a month to get back into GI specialist.
My doctor told me that you can get pregnant immediately after getting off Mirena but it may take a month or two for your uterine lining to build back up. Since Mirena suppressed the lining from building up.
Within an hour I'd start vomiting every 15-30 minutes for about twelve hours. after dry heaving enough, bile would come up eventually, usually at the end of those twelve hours. The only thing to do for that time was curl up on my side in bed; lying on my back would make the nausea more acute. At first, I was afraid of getting too dehydrated, so I'd try to drink a little water. But drinking even a tiny amount would cause me to vomit quicker and heavier.
I had a 90 lb Bouvier that stopped eating and became very week. after 6 days he couldn't even stand up. They thought it was pancreatitis. Is he throwing up yellow bile or is it clear? If he is not old it could be something he ate. In any case you have to find a way to take him to the vet.
I had thrown up so much and couldn't stop dry heaving, the doctor said I was beginning to bring up food from my intestines (bile being thrown up turned from yellow/white to green [the veggies I had for dinner hours earlier]). They gave me a shot to try to stop me from throwing up but no luck, I was given an I.V. and they ran blood and urine samples that came back clean. They did an ultrasound for gallstones and it was clear. The doctors gave me Omprazole, and after a few days I was fine again.
Before being diagnosed, I was throwing up bile almost everyday along with any type of raw food that was undigested. I had no appetite at all, felt tired all the time and had flu like symptoms. Low grade fever, body aches, & head aches. I started throwing up a thick rust colored substance which proved later to be blood(very painful). My urine was very dark , which was really weird considering I was drinking a1/2 gallon of water a day.
Hi, I am 33 year old female who started having GI issues about 10 years ago. Three years ago I underwent an upper and lower GI after being diagnosed with gastritis for the 3rd time. GERD was diagnosed and some scarring/stricture was found on the esophagus. Irritation was noted in the small intestine but the colonoscopy came up clear. I was put on Zelnorm and Aciphex and things got better. Fast forward to now...
As soon as I wake up, my stomach starts turning and feeling like an ocean, and i get a hot wave come over me... next thing i know im in the bathroom either throwing up or making myself throw up because i cant stand the nausea any longer. That usually lasts 30mins-1hr, then i just feel extremely tired and weak after and generally unwell until about lunchtime. This has been going on every single day except on days that i am able to sleep in until 10am, then i wake up feeling ok.
Friday, in an effort to get her to eat, I poured some water on her dry food. This worked and she ate it all. About midnight Friday night, she started throwing up. A lot. Saturday morning I called the vet and they wanted to see her right away for fear of pancreatitis. They drew some blood, gave her some IV antibiotics, and some fluids, though she was not dehydrated.
The friend I grew up with, in his late 40's, was constantly complaining of his belly hurting, he was throwing up green bile, the docs had already told him several years earlier that he needed to have his GB out, he wouldn't go, he hated doctors, hated the hospital, etc. One day he was in severe pain (gut pain) had high fever, he was hospitalized and taken to surgery. He developed septicemia due to peritonitis from GB disease. He never made it out of the hospital.
But she also started throwing up A LOT, it was mostly a yellow liquid and whatever little food she had eaten that day. The constant throwing up lasted about 2 weeks, but now has finally stopped. But now she has been wheezing A LOT, and seems to be struggling to breath. We took her back to the vet 2 days ago- they did another x ray and more blood work. They said she doesn’t have pancreatitis, and that her blood seems fine. But from her x rays they think she may have pneumonia.
