Throwing up yellow bile

Common Questions and Answers about Throwing up yellow bile

It wasn't anything it was just that disgusting yellow bile. Since 11pm last night I have thrown up 6 times all of it being the bile. I cannot hold anything down. I had just a small drink of water and seconds later I had to rush to the bathroom. I don't know if this is pregnancy related or am I sick. I'm 9 weeks and haven't got sick before just nausea. I don't know if I should call doctor or just see if it passes. I also have a horrible headache that's not going away.
I am not sure whether I am throwing up bile... or just the grease from what I ate. I am 33 weeks pregnant and haven't really had any problems with the pregnancy besides some gallbladder problems around weeks 24-28. I had really bad pain in my gallbladder area (under right rib and right back, under shoulder blade) for about a month. No signs of stones. Can't do the test to see how my gallbladder is functioning since I'm pregnant. Anyway...

I have an 8 year old male cat who started throwing up yellow bile on Saturday. I got him to drink a little tuna juice and he acted like he wanted to eat dry food but only ate one piece and that was after several times of picking it up and putting it back down. All test results from the vet came back normal. No bacteria. He did have blood in his stool. But no infection. No temp, and barely dehydrated. He's going in for a teeth cleaning tomorrow because he had severe tartar build up.
my 8 month shih tzu has been throwing up bright yellow bile every other day. Sometimes he throws up in the middle of the night, but most of the time it is between 10 and 3 in the afternoon. We have recently switched his food from beneful (which his old owners had him on) to Innova Evo with chicken. I have read that this is caused by an empty stomach. He eats twice a day, and most times when he throws up he has food down, he just isnt eating it. But he seems to enjoy the food when he eats it.
So I'm 16 weeks and I keep throwing up this yellow stuff which I researched and is called bile an intestinal fluid. The reason being is because I don't seem to be eating enough but thing is I do. Can anyone give me any remedies or antidote!!
It's your stomach acid, and like the above said it's from your tummy being happened to me every single day until 17w. Try to eat right when you wake up and ask your dr about nausea medicine.
I AM A SMOKER ALSO AND MORE THAN OFTEN I WILL THROW up bile, yellow DisGUSTING bile. I FEEL NAUSAETED FIRST , AND IT is ALWAYS IN THE MORNING. IT HAPPENS MORE WHEN I MENSTRATE. I THOGHT IT HAD TO DO WITH SMOKING BUT I AM NOT A HEAVY SMOKER, AND I HAVE VOMITED bile ON DAYS WHEN I HAVE NOT BEEN SMOKING. is THis NORMAL WITH A MisSING GALLBLADDER OR SHOULD I SEE A DOCTOR.
I am 33weeks and I threw up last night and it was yellow and tasted like medicine what could couse that should I be worried???
Hi Kata.......bile acids are usually yellow........Green is a red flag.....You need to get your guy to a Vet ASAP......Puppies this young cannot get dehydrated......Dehydration alone can be fatal......If your guy has not had all his puppy vaccines, then this may be the beginning of a serious issue......Do not wait any first thought (With green) is Rat poison! If this is a possibility, you must seek treatment, NOW.......Please, come back and let us know what you find out......
9 weeks pregnant and every morning I throw up yellow vomit, not much very little but I dry heave till it's all out. is it normal??
Three weeks ago I had my gall bladder removed, I was ok for two weeks after the surgery. Last sunday, I started throwing up bile it continued untill thursday, I went to the er 2 times and to the doctors 2 times, He said I have gerd and put me on previcid, I am still nausious every day all day, allthough I havent thrown up bile in 2 days my stool is bright yellow which I think is the bile comming out the other end and I still feel horrible its like a nightmare that wont end.
She always had a sensitive stomach and tended to throw up if she ate something other than her food or if she drank her water too fast but now she is throwing up yellow bile a couple times a week on an empty stomach. About a month ago she coughed up blood so we took her to the vet. He did a chest xray and thought she may have cancer because of some shawdowy patches on her lungs and her heart was lifted above where it should be. He then did blood tests and a trachial wash??
sounds like you could be having a cyst on your ovary,,,this is kinda common in young ladies your age group. and the green puke is from no food in your belly,,,its the acid/bile from an empty stomach.
I would be inclined to take her to the vet anyway, because throwing up bile is not a sign that the puppy is hungry, it's a sign that something is amiss. It could be anything. An upset stomach, an infection, a foreign body...etc Did you, or the people you got your puppy from make sure she had her vaccinations? I wonder what the black thing was? Was it an object of any kind? If she had swallowed some object, she would be likely to vomit it back (which is the best-case scenario.
Huny prly blood and bile. that happened to me as well. I was very sick my first pregnancy. I had hyperemesis gravidarum. Excessive vomiting. I couldnt even keep water down absolutely nothing. Eventually I started having brownish sruff come up with the bile. After a few days my husband took me to er amd I waa admitted and stayed for 2 days bc I was terribly dehydrated etc. I was put on iv zofran and had to take it rest of pregnancy o never got better still puking the day I had my son.

I've been sleeping horrible, I wake up sick to my stomach and feel like there is something in my stomach that makes its way up my esophagus.. Then in morning I end up runnin to toilet and I'm throwing up this yellow/ lime colored very bitter liquid. It's the only thing that comes out, no food or anything like that. It's horrible. I'm 18 weeks, would think morning sickness be better by now. Then after throwing up , I have an absolute horrid throbbing headache.
my cat is throwing up (yellow in colour) & he is hiding??? - not really eating or drinking !
my 6 year old is throwing up (sometime projectile) and complains of pain in his stomach for 4 days. Eating BRAT diet but still throws up. No food particles coming up - only fluid that is green and cloudy. Once he throws up, he is fine. Have him on 15 mg. Lansoprazole. No fever, stool is normal (no diarhea).
I had an episode of a violent inflammation of some sort in my upper abdomen (liver area) and it caused me to throw up for 5 hours. Then I was throwing up bile and white clear acidic stuff so constant that i could not breathe or swallow as it was burning my mouth. I nearly passed out. I gather it was some sort of allergic reaction to medicication.
one of the reasons i think i do this is cause last spring me and my mother where walking around in the mall when i felt very sick so i headed for a bathroom but unfortunatley i didn't make it i throw up about 3 to 4 times on the way to the bathroom and i was totally embarassed bout the whole thing and the fact i hate throwing up period!!!
Also, ask you doctor about checking your serum bile acid levels and your bile ducts for blockage. If you test positive for Hep C, 1) get vaccinated for Hep A and Hep B because you do not want to get co-infected with those other types. 2) Take Hep C very seriously, and do NOT drink alcohol or smoke; alcohol is a well known liver toxin; hepatitis causes inflammation of the liver, and drinking alcohol is like throwing gas on a flaming fire.
This morning I threw up this yellow liquid it taste horrible anyone know why? Or what is it?
my 3 yr old shih tzu vomits yellow bile at times, i give him pepcid at times, i cook noodles with chicken,i make sure that he eats at night, but he still vomits in the morning, i feed him with Nutrish by rachel ray. the vet says that all bld works were all normal. they also ruled out pancretitis. the vet said that i shld try pumpkin to put in his kibbles, but he didn't like it, right now , i'm giving him pepcid everyday. is there any suggestions ?
That is, eating usually made me feel worse and I would still end up throwing up. For me, it was easier to just throw up bile (this happened almost every morning for about 2 weeks when I would brush my teeth) and then eat later. I know that contradicts what most people say, but eating was just always so much worse for me.
