throwing up mucus sinus

It turned out that I had a sinus infection and the reason I had nasea and vomiting was because of the infected sinus drainage. I was given a medication to help dry up the drainage and an antibiotic. Once the infection was cleared up, the nasuea and vomiting went away. At the time I didn't have gerd.

anyone had a sinus infection or advise ?

I'm 22 years old and a smoker (not sure if that matters) but for awhile now (a year or so) i will throw up what I'm guessing is bile. it is lime green in color and comes out very "watery" and "mucus" like. It happens right when i wake up and take a shower. after i brush my teeth i get extremely nauseous and throw this "substance" up, it last all of about 10 min. I feel fine before and after.

Chest came clear, sinus - a shadowing of left maxillary sinus due to allergy. At this time i could breath during the day, but when i lay down my left side of the nose is paralyzed. So i was waking up with my throat dry as i was mouth breathing. the problem continued through fortcoming months. On and off, right side of my nose would bleed, but not bleeding like dropping out, instead it was bloody mucus inside the nostril. Ocassionaly i would cough up some blood, normally just a tiny red spot.

Bright blood normally means you could of hurt your throat or something from throwing up and dark blood is a sign of internal bleeding or you might have something like a sinus infection that's gotten really bad. In all cases.. Blood in vomit is not good and you best be safe then sorry. I'm not a doctor by any means and it's possible it will be just from puking too much but you'd rather be told your OK go home..

For 4 months I have been constantly coughing, gagging, choking, spitting up mucus and throwing up. I have been to 3 different doctors and each time they have treated me with allergy meds., cortizone shots, and diffent antibiotics to no avail.. I had a CAT scan of my sinus 2 weeks ago and the sinus is clear. They now have me scheduled for allergy testing coming in a week. I am into my 9th day of a 10 day antibiotic for the 4 time.

I have been coughing and throwing up phlegm for months now. I take antibiotics and for about a week after I introduce a new antibiotic I don't cough but then slowly I begin coughing again even though I'm still taking the antibiotic. I vomit for long periods and the vomiting makes me so weak I can hardly stand up.

If you are an asthmatic, even a simple cold can result in airway constriction. Mucus from a sinus infection should be spit out (all of it if possible), so that it does not settle in your broncial tubes resulting in that tightness that you feel and possible asthma. Advair is very expensive and it is not considered a rescue inhaler for suddent attacks.

Its like Its stuck in my throat and I try to cough it out but I end up throwing everything up including my food. Very Not pleasant. But it wasn't as bad as it is now. Now Its happening twice every other week, to every week. The last time I was on medication for Sinusitis that my doctor gave me, and I threw up more mucus then food. I was looking up Sinusitis and Its supposed to have nasal inflammation and I do not have that, but I cough up mucus every day always after I eat.

3 year old female toy poodle has been throwing up every night for about a week. The throw up only seems to be her food, no blood or mucus. She still acts rather playful and eats just fine as well. She hasn't lost any weight at all, and she may actually be gaining weight.

I've been sick for the past few days with a cough/cold where thick yellow/green mucus has been coming out of my nose/mouth. So I was really nauseas from week 4-10 now from week 11-12 I've only just started throwing up. It's comes really suddenly and i'm worried I won't make it to toilets when at work. Has anyone else started vomiting this far along?
