I'm 22 years old and a smoker (not sure if that matters) but for awhile now (a year or so) i will throw up what I'm guessing is bile. it is lime green in color and comes out very "watery" and "mucus" like. It happens right when i wake up and take a shower. after i brush my teeth i get extremely nauseous and throw this "substance" up, it last all of about 10 min. I feel fine before and after.
Still having bile issues. Throwing up bile and bile diarrhea. I use Questran powder from my Gastro doc. This does help with the absorption of the bile. It is just a mask but it helps with some of the symptoms.My body is producing excessive bile. I do NOT eat fatty/greasy foods which trigger it. It is the worst feeling in the world when you are sweating so bad your going to pass out. Then in a moment you get so cold. Then the contractions come and spasms. It is the worst feeling in the world .
the most common causes of green stool are food coloring and excess fiber, but it does depend on what kind of green youre talking about. if its very slimy and not like normal diarrhea, its most likey bile, stomach acids, etc. if its an acceptable consistency, looks like youd expect it to, and just tinted, its most likely fiber or food colorings. if youre not having any other symptoms than the stomach and stool problems, i would think its some kind of food poisoning or bad reaction to food.
By the second day of illness I had been throwing up large amount of bright green bile and the diarrhea, which was also green bile. The amounts of bile were overwhelming. While throwing up the bile I was almost chocking on it because of the amount and the diarrhea came in waves of green bile then turning into dark green strips.
I went to the hospital and was given a MRI which showed that I had air in my portal vein; I was kept in the hospital due to this.
I felt like I was dying...literally during the time I was throwing up. I stayed in bed all day and was extremely weak. I tried to drink water in small amounts. I woke up today feeling somewhat better but today I have had 6 bowel movements and very constipated. My right side under the ribs is hurting today and I still feel very weak but again better. Any idea what could be wrong with me & where the green bile came from? What's different about green bile than yellow?
. These episodes are getting worse. I've just had another attack 2 days ago. This time was the worst ever. I know this is TMI but I have to explain what's happening to me. Everything that comes out of me during these episodes smells of eggs! Vomit, diarrhea and belching. I never use to get the diarrhea with this. And I now I'm getting severe acid in my chest and throat a few days before I get the whole stomach attack.
Subsequent vomiting was primarily dry-heaves which turned to vomiting of yellow/green bile by around 5 am. Every time he vomited you could see his stomach really tighten up. At around 5 am he had a couple of episodes of diarrhea that was very runny. The diarrhea also continued the next day as well. After he started the diarrhea the vomiting seemed to subside which is typical of the previous episodes.
The vomiting followed by diarrhea seems to be a pattern.
Hello. This past Thursday I was really sick and throwing up even though my stomach was empty and it didn't necessarily hurt. Eventually, I started throwing up bile. After that, I was fine for two days and then I got massive diarrhea and I threw up once. Now I've noticed my stool is almost white. What's up with this and how concerned should I be?
Mini pin 7 years old. Began throwing up bile on Friday. Threw up 3 times. Saturday once, Sunday once and Monday once, all early morning. Monday I took her to the vet. Tested negative for Parvo. Was given a IV to give her 2 ml. per day and 5 shots to be given every 8 hours frollowed by a pill to be given every 8 hours once the shots were given for the vomitting. She drinks water but has no interest in eating. She is allert, but not as chipper as usual.
For about 3 weeks, have had abdominal pain, diarrhea that was orange and now green. Food is not getting completely digested either. Pain is mostly on upper right side just under ribcage and in back but do have tenderness in stomach area as well. Some cramping and increased gas. Some nausea, heartburn and decreased appetite. Am lightheaded and very fatigued. Had blood work last week including metabolic panel to make sure enzymes were ok. Tested for H. Pylori bacteria. All normal.
t even chew it up. Just the thought of chewing and swallowing makes me very nauseous. And I am throwing up and gaging even when I'm not eating too. But the symptoms seem to come and go. Because of the not eating enough, I have diarrhea that's green. I know that means I have too much bile in my intestines. I can think of something that sounds really good and when I try to put it in my mouth, its as if my body is rejecting it. I don't know what's wrong.
Then I had the urge to go again around afternoon, and I noticed that I sort of had diarrhea, but it was muddy, dark green color, and it immediately sank to the bottom(I heard somewhere that if stool floats, its good). So I'm a bit concerned, and do you have any suggestions? I'm 16 years old, if that helps in any way.
